Parque de María Luisa is hands-down Seville's crown jewel—a sprawling, lush escape that feels like stepping into a romantic dream. I wandered its shaded paths on a sunny afternoon, mesmerized by the vibrant orange trees, exotic palms, and ponds teeming with swans and ducks. The real showstopper? Plaza de España, with its jaw-dropping semicircular architecture, colorful tiled alcoves for each Spanish province, and that iconic canal where you can rent rowboats for €6—pure magic for photos or a lazy paddle.
What I loved most was the mix of history and chill vibes. Built from palace gardens donated in 1893 and revamped for the 1929 Expo, it's got Moorish gardens, whimsical fountains like the Frog and Lions ones, plus monuments to poets like Bécquer. Free entry means it's perfect for picnics, jogs, or just people-watching amid the blooms—no crowds overwhelming the serenity.
Even in peak heat, the canopy keeps it cool, and nearby museums add culture without hassle. If you're in Seville, skip the lines elsewhere—this park stole my heart. 10/10, unmissable oasis!
