One of my fond memories from my last visit to Seville in 2012 is strolling this park to the Plaza de Espana, and fifty countries later, it is still one of my all-time favorites.
From the river, walk straight across the park to the plaza, or catch one of the many horse carriages giving 30-minute tours.
Shady, with numerous paths criss-crossing the park, there are flowers, benches, toilets, and carts selling water bottles, hats, fans, and trinkets. Busy with families on weekends, one end is filled with the archaelogy museum, while the palace is on the other. Many buildings from the 1929 expo still line the park.
