Parque García Sanabria

Beautful park, well maintained and shaped. Some great plants and flowers to photograph. Enjoy a lovely stroll through this picturesque park. Two tranquil fountain areas to take the weight off your legs.. Well worth visiting the park top to bottom and left to right.

Really nice park with plenty of seating and a water feature. Also a bit of live music from a busker while we were there. There is a cafe on the park but we didnt visit this. The park is a 15min walk from the sea front / lagoon area, and is a little uphill. Park is quite small but is in the city centre so is expected.

The park is small but very green. There are two playgrounds and two fountains, as well as several ponds. The paths are paved, and the park is lit in the evening. Parking near the park is very difficult, so don’t count on finding a space there. The park is accessible, with entrances from all sides. Where there are level changes, there are ramps. There are two regular restrooms and one portable toilet, but none are accessible.

Beautiful park, nicely maintained. Many large plant specimens, some with labels. Also a nice collection of outdoor sculptures. There are areas with somewhat formal plantings, but overall things are loose and informal, maybe like this laid-back island.

Parque Garcia Sanabria is a must visit in Santa Cruz Tenerife. It is a medium level walk for seniors and free. It is beautiful, big, and brimming with a variety of art, flowers, fountains, sculptures, and trees. You could easily spend over 2 hours in this park and not see all the gems it has to offer. It is better than some botanical gardens we have viisited. There are bathrooms (Asoes) near one entrance area by a small café. The walking is mostly level to get there and in the park. In some areas there are stairs and you may need to look for ramps nearby. You can find some elevators if you look. There are many wheelchairs in the park.

Lovely well-kept park with lots of seating, a fountain, and gorgeous trees. It's super close to the city center—just a short walk away.

Medium sized well designed botanical garden with mature plantings. Great for people of all ages. Good variety of plants, very peaceful and pretty well maintained. Worth a trip.

A simply amazing park on the island. A must stop for anyone visiting to remove themselves from the city feel and just take a relaxing stroll or sit and take in the fresh air. The fountain in the center of the park makes a nice rainbow in the sunlight that is just a nice addition when taking in the views.
