Still, trying to avoid reviewing parks, but this is a place where I spend a lot of time. With that said, it's pretty close to the optimal park for everyone. I'm not sure there is a single thing to complain about.
This park merges a very tourist friendly area with a local connection. It has its own dedicated bus stop, so getting there is always easy for people that live outside of walking distance. From the park you can see all the Insurgentes tourist traps like Fat Burger, still hit up street vendors, and see a good mix of local business people.
The park has a great environment, providing gazebo areas where classes are taught, a kid's playground, plyo metric workout machines, running circuit, and plenty of space for dogs. It's probably the nicest vibe in the neighborhood.
Mixed in with everything else are ruins from the Aztecs, a couple of fountains and monuments, and a giant clock that never works. 😉
There's not much more to say... Great Park.
