Parque Lincoln, a charming urban oasis in Mexico City’s upscale Polanco neighborhood, offers a serene escape amidst the city’s bustle. This well-designed park, easily accessible via Metro Polanco (its iconic Art Deco clock tower graces the station’s symbol), boasts lush greenery and beautiful trees, creating a tranquil setting for leisurely strolls. The park’s reflecting pools, where visitors can rent remote-controlled boats for 100 pesos per 15 minutes, add a playful touch, especially for families. A small aviary, home to peacocks and parakeets, delights bird enthusiasts, while notable statues of Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., and a Nelson Mandela memorial lend historical depth. On Saturdays, the vibrant tianguis market transforms the park’s East side into a lively hub, offering fresh produce, tacos, and trinkets at budget-friendly prices—an ideal spot for people-watching. Surrounding the park, Polanquito’s trendy cafes and Avenida Presidente Masaryk’s luxury boutiques are just steps away, blending urban sophistication with the park’s calm. Nearby Chapultepec Park enhances its appeal as a gateway to further exploration. With its open-air Angela Peralta theater (Jazz Festival in the Spring) and art installations, Parque Lincoln is perfect for families, couples, or anyone seeking a nature-filled break in Polanco’s chic embrace. A must-visit for a relaxing, culturally rich experience.

Parque Lincoln is our favorite park in Polanco, Mexico City! It’s spacious, peaceful, and perfectly located near some of the best restaurants and cafes. Great spot for walking or relaxing, with a lovely playground for kids and a charming bird-watching area. A must-visit green escape in the heart of the city.

Beautiful quaint little park. Lots of locals and popular with dogs. Located near restaurants and cafes.

Absolutely lovely park divided in two sections, one with a statue of Abe Lincoln and the other one with the likeness of Martin Luther King. It has ponds where kids play with their remotely-controlled boats, one aviary, sculptures, and on the eastern side of it, the Angela Peralta open air theater where the Polanco Jazz Festivals take place. I was last there on April 6 during the Polanco Flowers and Gardens Festival.

Nice park with sculptures, an aviary and, many restaurants all around it. On Saturdays there is a market (mercado) that also has food.

An amazing parque in Polanco with lush green vegetation, lots of shade, reflective pools - surrounded by outstanding shops and restaurants. Yes - there are statues of Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Cute little park in the middle of posh Polanco and you guessed it, Mr Lincoln presides over it.

Parque Lincoln is a local gem with something for everyone! Perfect for a leisurely stroll, a chat with friends, or letting your kids go wild in the well‑designed playground (suited for toddlers up to teens). Nestled in the heart of Polanco and surrounded by charming cafés and great restaurants, it’s ideal for grabbing a coffee (or a beer?) and settling in to enjoy the greenery.

Yelp
This park is definitely maintained better than most parks in the city. What you won't find are many of those puestos that sell food and Nick nacks. It's clean and every time that I've walked thru here there are always maintenance people cleaning and fixing things. To here are a few improvements that could be made in my opinion. For example, the concrete ben he's could use a good powerwash cleaning. Also the mand-made ponds appear like they haven't been maintained in some time, as there is a lot of algae growth going on in there. Today when I rode thru there were a lot of families, and even roller blade lessons for kids!

Yelp
Wonderful park and playground. We went to Mexico City last week with our 6 year old son. We walked here to Parque Lincoln for our son to blow off some steam. It's a big park, with several cool things to see. There's a huge playground that was filled with families, inside the playground is a clean pay bathroom. There's a small, cheap, but lovely aviary. We saw so many pretty and cool birds! The Aviary was $8Pesos per person, or about $2US total for the 3 of us. It is remarkable how much better things can be cheaply and easily with warmer weather. There's a fountain/pond area, and there were remote control boats for rent the first day we went (but we didn't have any Pesos yet, so we didn't get to do it).

Yelp
Traveling to CDMX with a five-year-old, we loved Parque Lincoln. There's a massive playground protected by a fence for kids to enjoy. There are even restrooms for all to use within the playground. After the playground, walk the trails to find public art, a small art gallery in a historic clock tower, a skate park and statues of MLK Jr and Abraham Lincoln. Nearby are grand houses, restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Yelp
Parque Lincoln is picture perfect. It is clean and well maintained with beautiful flora and many paved paths. I recently visited with my Westie dog, Missy Paulette. The park is full of art sculptures and statues including statues of Lincoln and of Martin Luthor King. I read the reviews here and simply do not understand why anyone would give this charming park anything less than 5 stars!

Yelp
Located on the south end of Polanco and north of Paseo de la Reforma, this park sits in front of several restaurants on Av. Emilio Castelar. People use this park several different activities: sitting and chatting, exercise, running around, and cycling around. There's even an aviary inside the park, and I'm sure it's also used as a lover's retreat, regardless of the time of day.

Yelp
I was expecting more from this park. The walking paths are haphazard and not intuitive. The statue of Lincoln is in the worst possible spot. I couldn't get a head-on photo of it because there was a vendor's tent right in front. Luckily, I could get a great photo of the MLK Jr. statue. I think it's very fitting that these 2 statues are positioned across from each other, facing each other, because both men were pivotal leaders in the evolution of civil rights. Both were assassinated and met untimely deaths. But the street running right down the middle kinda kills the vibe. It would have been nice to sit under or closer to the statues to contemplate the men's achievements and where we can all go from here. That being said, I do recommend visiting this park to see the MLK Jr. statue, as monuments to him are not nearly as common as they should be, and it is extremely important that we honor him. (It was unclear who commissioned or paid for the MLK Jr. statue. The Lincoln statue is courtesy of D.A.R.). Although the park has a bird house/aviary, it was closed when we visited.

Yelp
Great park but they need security on playground Where is security when you need it. The entrance says: playground for up to 5 year olds. There are dozens of college students smoking and playing here. Seriously?!?!

Yelp
One of the many parks scattered around Mexico City. This one isn't too large, but it's nice to walk next to it or through it.

Yelp
Great place to go for the Saturday market. The flowers, fruit, cheese and other vendors have a good selection of products. If you like the sound of birds, the aviario is great and costs 7 pesos! Be prepared for lots of dogs.
