Parque Lleras was a nice place to visit. It has a good mix of restaurants and casual spots where you can sit down and enjoy a meal — even if you’re with kids. During the day, it feels calm enough to walk around and explore.
There are plenty of food options, and the area has a lively vibe. One thing to be aware of is the number of locals approaching to sell sunglasses, belts, or offering to sing a song. At first, it might feel like a fun or funny interaction, but it often ends with them expecting a tip for their performance — so just keep that in mind.
As the day turns into night, the atmosphere changes. You’ll see a lot more nightlife — bars, music, and many Latina women walking around. The lower you go down into the area, the more active and party-like it becomes with nightclubs and such.
There’s one street I really liked — the one with a pizzeria called Pizzaiolo. That area felt especially safe and chill. It’s a great spot to just relax and enjoy a good pizza or other food without any hassle.
All in all, Parque Lleras has a lot to offer — just be mindful of your surroundings and know what to expect.
