I had a great experience visiting this water park with friends. The pools and lazy river were great. Food amenities were great. Locker rooms were great, with free-to-use lockers with digital pinpads. Excellent security. The water slides were very fun! I especially loved the thrilling blue slide which was more akin to the intensity level I had been seeking. My friends were too scared to ride it! Pity. It was the highlight for me! I rode it like 10 times. I am sure I will return to Parque Los Tamarindos again at some point.

Water parks are a childhood pleasure of mine. Sliding down a water slide still gives me as much fun as it did when I was ten. So selecting new water parks is an important activity of mine. That's how I ended up at Parque Los Tamarindos. Not the largest water park there is, but beautifully set up in a natural and tropical environment. The swimming pools are beautiful and the Tuesday we visited the park and pools were spotlessly clean. The four slides give the adrenaline rush you are looking for. The park itself is very affordable, only 27,000 pesos for the entrance. The food and drinks are affordable and of good quality. The staff is friendly. Another great thing is that the park throughout weekdays is quiet in numbers of people (apparantly it is the opposite during weekends). The park is also easily accessible by public transport: from Medellin Terminal de Norte a bus leaves approximately every 30 minutes in the direction of Sante Fe de Antioquia, which can drop you off at the entrance of the park; the bus ride is only an hour. Excellent experience, I will definitely come back soon. An update more than a year later, June 2025. It is remarkable that the state of maintenance looks even better than the last time I visited the park, April 2024. All the small defects that were there then have been fixed. All the pneumatic tires that are used for a water slide and the "Amazon river" (don't know how else to to term this) have been replaced by brand new tires. Everything looks really great, also the way the trees, plants and flowers are maintained. My compliments to the management for this. And my compliments to the daily staff for another fantastic experience.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at Tamarindos Water Park after visiting with a group of 20 on Thursday morning. Positives: Beautiful Park: Tamarindos is immaculately maintained, with well-trimmed gardens and a variety of plant and bird species. Clean Facilities: The bathrooms were clean, and the cafeteria was really nice, offering good food. Activities: There’s a lot to do—water slides, a lazy river, an arcade, and even a soccer field. Lockers: There are plenty of lockers available for use at no additional charge, which is a great convenience. Negatives: Entrance Delays: It took about 40 minutes to process our group as only one employee was up front. Customer Service: This was the most disappointing part of our visit. The staff were notably rude and seemed more interested in their phones than assisting guests. They all seemed annoyed to talk to the guests. For example, when I asked two staff members at the arcade about the entry fee, they looked at each other, laughed, and then returned to their phones without answering me. It was evident that the staff were disengaged and unfriendly, and I won't even dive into my interaction with the girl helping with lockers. As a Colombian-American, I can say this was not a language barrier issue—my fellow Colombians also found the service lacking. Toilet Paper: Don’t forget to bring your own toilet paper. Although the bathrooms were clean, there was a lack of toilet paper in the facilities. While Tamarindos is a beautiful park with plenty of activities and the convenience of free lockers, the unbelievably disappointing customer service and lack of basic amenities like toilet paper significantly impacted our experience. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the overall visitor experience. Shout out to the lovely lady who checked me out at the cafeteria, since she was the only staff member that smiled, and shout out to the guy up front checking bags, who was the only understanding/welcoming person there.

It's a great park to spend a weekend with your family. There are several pools, a lazy river and two water slides. The scenery is full of green spaces and quite relaxing. You can enjoy some of the traditional colombian meals there and tamarind candy.
