A nice spot to go for a calm walk and see some wildlife. A wild capybara ran past me, i saw interesting caterpillars and leafcutter ants as well as a lazy alligator 🐊

A nice place to visit and go for a walk or just hang out by the green lake

A beautiful place in Coban to stay in touch with nature. It has a little like where crocodiles live. There are path networks that guides you to different places like a flora reserve, the lake, administration, a park for children and a multi-purpose meeting hall, but unfortunately this last one is abandoned

It cost 25 Quetzals for foreigners and I would say it's definitely worth it. The Park has 4 different trails you can do and the vary in length from 1km to 3km. There is a small lake were you can find small crocodiles. The fauna and flora are incredible. Would recommend this to anyone if they have time to spare in Coban

A really nice place to explore but the maps there are worse than useless and weirdly don’t show any of the features within the park like the car park, the Laguna or the camping area. Good to explore if you have the time and don’t mind getting lost for a while

There used to be a problem with petty theft and muggings here a while back. They seem to have gotten this well in hand and under control. It ain't Yosemite, but very important for this community, where urban planning and environmental awareness leave much to be desired.

It was a little confusing to get around and... Mhm... A black-and-orange snake slithered across our trail. Not sure if it was dangerous, but we were only wearing sandals. Would def wear other gear next time. Left pretty quick after that.

This is a national reservation, here you'll find trails for hiking, an event hosting shed, there is a small pond but it dries on summer, there used to be a gator and a snapping turtle but they are no longer available, you need to be careful if you go hiking since there have been some robbery so is better to go in group, the reservation is in danger since some political group invaded an area, so there is that also
