Great place for a nature fix. Secure and green. Perfect during Sundays. Do not come if you are afraid of dogs. Pleople bring their dogs and they are unleashed.

Very beautiful park. The hike to the viewpoint was brutal but it was totally worth it! The scenery is amazing and great place to view the skyline of Medellin! And there are also places to get water at before you hike. I went alone and felt pretty safe. I also went on the trail that wasn’t on the road and was uphill. I would suggest the road trail because it is probably a lot easier and safer than the trail I took. After reading the other reviews I’m glad I didn’t get robbed. I recommend you don’t hike alone because apparently a lot of people get robbed on the trail. Overall recommend this park!

I originally intended on going to the botónical gardens but they were closed. I ended up heading here and found it nice. It’s mostly paved but you do get a good workout and a nice view of the city

Great place to walk with your dog and escape the fumes of the city. Stay on the road for safety that leads to the top where there is a grassy area to enjoy the views. The incline is fairly gradual so not a great fitness level required. Best to go on weekends or fiestas in daylight hours ,during the week is not recommended as your likely to be robbed. Lots of watering holes and plenty to see. Ideal day out.

Went on a Sunday at midday and there were plenty of people out walking their dogs, running and picnicking. I felt safe the entire time. Don’t let scare stories put you off - come when it’s busy and nothing is going to happen to you. Soak in the great views of Medellín!

This place is an excellent choice for picnicking, walking, biking, running and exercise. Besides, you can relax when you get to the top by watching at the amazing gardens and and green vegetation. If you go to the top you can have a beautiful view of Medellín city and picnick on the grass. It's very safe and you will find people exercising every day.
