Parrilla Reencuentro

Google
Parrilla Reencuentro, situated in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, operates as a traditional, straightforward Argentine grill that centers its experience entirely on classic meat preparations. The venue consistently delivers solid quality across standard parrilla offerings, such as asado and bife de chorizo, catering to diners prioritizing dependable food over high-end aesthetics. The interior is generally characterized as simple and functional, lacking the modern polish or complex presentation found in some of its competitors, making it a reliable choice for those seeking an authentic, unpretentious local experience.

Steaks are good. Servers are professional, kind, smiling. We ordered Entraña & Ojo de bife (skirt, ribeye steak). Satisfying and grilled potato is really tasty.

Great local find!!! Steak and all accompanying food were delicious! Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Everything was perfect and at an amazing price!!! Perfect amount of food for 2 to share.

This place is a solid 10! Aldo is the best! 🤭💘😍✨ The food here is much better than at the popular spot next door—and at half the price! I guess this is where the locals eat… From the bread to the flan, everything was amazing! Aldo will guide you through the experience—just trust him! 🤭🤭🤭

I don't like eating alone but I was craving a good steak and I've walked past this parrilla many times. So tonight I went and ate outside. Aldo was a great server and I had my favorite cut, Entrana with a side of papa's fritas and a morcilla sausage. Everything was excellent. The food, the drink, the service. I'll gladly return.

We stopped here as an impromptu late night visit after landing in Buenous Aires, and the staff were extremely accommodating for our post midnight visit. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the prices were very good. I can't speak for much of the menu, but the steak and the empanadas were wonderful!

expats especially…..never go to the is restaurant. There were 4 of us. The lucky person had his meat overcooked and hardly ate his meal. The other two had severely undercooked steaks to the point of it being a health concern. The fourth was served practically raw chicken. I addressed it with the owner and he surprisingly gave me attitude. The excuse given by the owner was that there were some new guys working the grill. Meanwhile the owner never went back to the grill once to ensure quality control or to even have a word about the raw meat. There was no offer to make things better or discount anything. Only attitude and arrogance were received. One of our group members informed the owner that we would not be paying. He then said that I need to come by and THANK him for involuntarily not charging us. This is the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in all of Argentina along with shockingly poor and arrogant “service”. The only things served here are complacency, indifference and outright arrogance. We will never eat here again.

we were in buenos Aires for 4 days and we wanted Argentine steak so we came here because it was close to our hotel. my daughter and I both had the rib eye steak, the smallest one on the menu, it was probably 3/4 of a pound and really good, also grilled potatoes and mashed potatoes , and a bottle of Cabernet franc, couldn`t ask for more. very reasonable priced, would have cost me double in the USA.

Yelp
Here in BA with a group before a cruise, and dinner Wednesday night was at Reencuentro. Service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and prompt. Our appetizer was a fresh roll and grilled chorizo. That alone was enough for a meal! I tasted the bread, but knowing more was coming, I just ate the sausage. It was incredibly good, so different that what is made in Mexico. I could have been happy just having the sausage!. Next came a fantastic and massive tenderloin. I couldn't finish it, but gave it my best try. It was served with hot fresh thick French fries, and a trio of sauces, a fantastic Chimichurri, an tasty aioli, and a flavorful tomato and onion cup that looked similar to pico de gallo. I forgot to ask what it was. Finished with either Flan or tiramisu. I enjoyed a generous portion of tiramisu, very good. Others who had flan loved it. You gotta check this place out!

Yelp
Very good. No tourists at all - menu completely in Spanish which was a good thing. Very good steak a caballo - with fried egg. Ate outside. Very good wine and near plaza Serrano. Friendly wait staff - people who complain about service should stop whining.
