Gorgeous views, amazing spot on the beach, friendly staff. The bed had some of the softest sheets I have ever felt in my entire life! There is a dock that you can relax on, I ended up jumping off into the ocean and it was just deep enough for me. The time I went there was a bit of a sargassum event, but that is mother nature for you! Honestly it didn't stop me from swimming, and the water is unbelievably warm. Restaurant on site is amazing with incredibly friendly staff. Everyone is interacted with was able to answer my questions with a smile. I had an ocean view room equipped with a lovely hammock and a lounge chair. Everything was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. They keep the pool and grounds very clean. I was also delighted to meet Rico, their African Grey parrot! And if you are lucky, you might get to spot some sea life like I did - I was lucky enough to spot a manatee right off the dock!

Parrot Cove Lodge may be smaller in size, but it’s big on charm and hospitality. The rooms are beautifully maintained—clean, cozy, and surprisingly spacious—with comfort that makes it easy to unwind. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. Their friendliness and attention to detail added a personal touch to the entire stay. The property features a refreshing pool, a peaceful stretch of beach, and a lovely little pier that’s perfect for morning coffee or sunset views. It’s the kind of place that feels intimate but never lacking—quiet enough to relax, yet full of character and warmth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a laid-back, unforgettable Belize experience.

The staff? Absolutely incredible — friendly, helpful, and full of local tips that made our trip even better. Special shout out to Yoli, Leticia and Micah, they were dedicated to making sure our stay was PERFECT! They were polite, caring, attentive, engaging, and absolutely delightful!||Whether you’re looking to relax by the water, explore nearby jungles and waterfalls, or dive into local culture, Parrot Cove is the perfect home base. Absolutely loved our stay at Parrot Cove. Our beachfront rooms were spotless and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Ricco, the resident African Gray parrot kept us entertained during our stay. We had an incredible experience at this boutique resort and can highly recommend them. It was a pleasure meeting Chef Rob and experiencing his chef's dinner on Friday which is made up of an incredible 7-course meal prepared by Chef Rob as we sat around the table watching him cook our dinner. He even took our tuna catch from our fishing trip and used it as one of his appetizers. I can honestly say this dinner was probably one of the best we have had. We had the perfect amount of adventure and relaxation!

This place is great if you are okay with a smaller hotel. The staff are amazing, the location is great, the rooms are clean and comfy. However, there is 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 1 small pool and a small stretch of beach. This is all absolutely fine unless you want a big resort experience. We loved the whole thing including the small intimate experience.

Our family had an amazing visit at Parrot Cove Lodge. We had 2 rooms and the view from the ocean room was stunning. When our bioluminescent tour was canceled due to the rain, the front staff helped arrange a boat tour with Captain Bert and our children were so thankful (we saw several sharks and even a sea turtle!) The shower in the ocean room had better water pressure than the pool side room and two of the beds were firmer than the third bed, but the rooms were spacious and had nice seating areas in both rooms. The pool area with the lights was so relaxing and the kids loved the resident parrot who would whistle at night which was fun to listen to. They also liked seeing the smaller turtles near the pool. The bikes were nice to take for a trip to Hopkins town and pick up a few souvenirs. BRING BUG SPRAY with DEET. We brought back many bites from the sand flies. Would stay again!

Our flight was delayed several hours, so we picked up our key from Chef Rob's restaurant when we arrived. We had the family suite, which allowed my wife and I to have our own room and each boy to have his own bed. The room also featured a large outdoor sitting space with a clothes drying rack. The only thing that could make it better would be if the bathroom were accessible from the common/kids space.||The staff were really friendly, including arranging packed breakfasts to be picked up from the restaurant the night before if you have an early tour or departure (we had one of each). The included breakfast is a great add on. It consisted of fresh juice and a set plate of fruit, bread, sausage and eggs. We didn't take advantage of the beach or complimentary kayaks but appreciated being two doors down from Happy Go Luckie tours. They also have complimentary bicycles to visit the town. We took advantage of those, but I wish that a third of the fleet had larger frames. I'm only 5'7" but the bike felt quite small. On the other hand, my 12 year-old had plenty to choose from.||The pool is small but pleasant. My youngest really enjoyed it and it never felt crowded. It's not fancy but is quite comfortable and you get a ton of bang for your buck.
