This place was fantastic! The employees were some of the kindest, sweetest, most helpful people I met on my trip (which is saying a lot, because almost everyone in Belize was very friendly :-)). We had 2 connected rooms (with one bathroom), not beachfront (but you could walk to the beach in less than a minute); very, very clean and comfortable. Would've liked to have screens on the windows to open them (because weather was perfect when we were there), but that's just me. The AC worked perfectly; only weird thing was the door between the two rooms had to be closed for the AC to turn on in the second room. The breakfast was SO DELICIOUS! The only problem I had was that it starts at 7:30, and since it's not buffet but made directly for you when you come in, you don't really get it until about 8. Since the snorkeling tours start at 8, it'd be nice if the breakfast started sooner. The bikes to use for free were nice (as soon as the groundskeeper saw us go to pick bikes out, he came over to double check that they were working and to fill the tires if any were low- very nice)- we rode them into Hopkins, which was enjoyable. My family is vegetarian, and I wasn't super impressed with Chef Rob's vegetarian choices; only ate there one evening. But, don't miss the lunchtime pizza at the next door Beaches and Dreams Resort- it was some of the best pizza I've ever tasted! (It's only served on the weekends I believe.) The beach itself at the resort isn't anything special. They keep it clean, but the sand is rough, and the water isn't very clear or great for swimming (though it is warm)- I didn't get in, but my husband did and said he saw a lot of trash in the ocean. :-( Overall, we really loved our stay here, especially thanks to all the super great employees! We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Me and my family just got back from an amazing vacation in Hopkins Belize. We stayed at Parrot cove lodge, the staff was incredibly friendly and most accommodating in any resort we have been too. Thanks to chef Rob we had the best food we have had on vacation. - Angelo, Kelli and Jenny.

Lovely beach location just south of Hopkins village. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We did Christmas Day dinner and the Foodie Friday Chef's table, both excellent. Breakfast was really nice as well. Swimming and snorkelling moments from our door was a real highlight for us.

We visited the Parrot Cove Lodge in August and we could not have been more impressed. We had found it just by searching online, and of course saw all about the food and restaraunt, which was fantastic. We wanted to stay somewhere right on the beach, and the pictures looked like that was available. Of course, it's a leap of faith when you book and rely on the pictures, but our room was incredible with a patio right on the beach and just feet from the water. Small venue, so not a lot of people at this location, although it was a little off-season. As you can tell, they are known for Chef Rob and his dining, and we can't say enough about how incredible it was. Make sure to partake in the chef's table if you can. Due to some luck, we actually were able to do it twice. Incredible food, and Chef Rob has some incredible stories. You can tell how much effort he puts into the dishes and the whole property. We really enjoyed getting to know him. But the best part, if the rest of the staff. We basically had five star, concierge service during the entire stay. They coordinated our meals, our excursions, transportation, golf cart rentals; you name it, they were on top of it. This is definately not a corporate mega resort, but a small resort with great service, great food and great hospitality. We got engaged during our stay and can't wait to return in April for our honeymoon!

We spent 7 days at Parrot Cove Lodge in Hopkins for a family wedding. We got in late and were tired and hungry.. Mike, Leticia (Tish) and KiKi took us into the restaurant and sat us, no questions asked. King made drinks for us and immediately we felt like family. || That extraordinary service continued all week as we tried the Chef Robs Seven Course Surprise menu and the Four course Lobster dinner (twice). | | Mayan Mike is Sous Chef at Parrot Cove, his Mayan cooking was phenomenal! Using homemade spices and ingredients from his own garden. We can’t forget to mention Mo as well, even though he worked in the kitchen he never hesitated to help us with anything we needed, we could nab him as he was walking by and he was always accommodating and always with a huge smile. | There are two things that make a trip successful in my opinion 1.food 2. Staff. Chef Rob has both of these things wrapped up in his resort. ||Maritsa and Emmalyn at the front desk were there for us planning events for the wedding (not mine)months ahead of time, even when they were in their down time. Even with a group of 38 they never stopped smiling. They all watched in awe as we threw a bachelorette pool party in the pouring rain!! Crazy Canadians!! | | The cleaning staff and the guys that helped with our bags and helped hang decorations for the pool party were so willing to help and of course amazing. Our rooms were so clean and super comfortable they had huge showers and all amenities we needed. || Also, we can’t forget about Corrie, chef Robs wife. She is out of this world friendly and amazing and she took us all under her wing and was a momma to all of us while we were there. || The glue of this place of course is Chef Rob he is so friendly so easy to get along with ;) his sense of humour is unbeatable and Chef Robs cooking is out of this world!! || The hardest part was leaving here knowing we were leaving family behind.. Much love to Chef Rob

My wife and I spent a great few days here and loved it. The staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful. The room was just what we wanted, beachfront, maybe 20 steps to the water. The area is nice and quiet. The included breakfast was very nice. And, the people of Hopkins are very friendly. What a great spot.

We had a wonderful stay at Parrot Cove at the beginning of May. It was a last minute decision and we booked the cheapest room available - it was larger and nicer than we expected. Very comfortable with fan, AC, sitting area, and excellent water pressure in the bathrooms. The location was excellent with the ocean right outside & the area felt safe with lots of good dining options along the road up to Hopkins village whether we chose to walk, bike, or drive. (They have bikes at the hotel that are easy to borrow.) Our favorite though, was that the hotel was small & uncrowded, making the experience wonderfully personalized. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the delightful breakfasts from Mike & Tisch, Chef Rob's excellent chef's table (highly recommended - he does amazing things with the local produce.) Mauritza was a fantastic concierge, advising us on which tours we'd enjoy most during our short stay & Orlando who was an excellent driver & tour guide when we ventured out to the Mayan sites. Our first time to Belize & they made it magical.
