If you want to try Georgian cuisine done well but without posh atmosphere, this is the place. A perfect mix of "locals dine here but tourists are still welcome", very close to major sights but slightly off the beaten path, rather busy but no wait. Good home-made wine and fine brandy also in abundance. I heartily recommend them.

A delicious four hour lunch with a warm welcome on a chilly day. We didn’t want to leave. We shared freshly made steaming hot khinkali, pkhali with a side of carrot salad and Georgian salad and many glasses of homemade wine. The atmosphere is private, cosy and traditionally rustic with lattice booths. They have a call button on each table to alert the wait staff which is really cool and convenient. We pressed it many times to order more wine and within seconds a smiling face would arrive to take our order. What a wonderfully delicious and casual long lunch. Pasanauri has a reputation as a solid Tbilisi staple and now I know why.

It’s an awful experience starting from the waiters only 1 of the 3 waiters were actually smiling and helpful . Moving on to the food the chicken salad was below average and just had a lot of mayonnaise in it , the Khachapuri was ok not the best but wasn’t bad for sure , lastly the chicken with garlic sauce was the worst by far we’ve only tasted it and couldn’t even eat it ( too dry + the sauce was watery >> supposed to be thicker and flavorful )

Been here last year, and now really miss their chicken soup and ajika. Definitely will be back here again one day if I travel to Tbilisi.

We stumbled upon Pasanauri on Alexander Griboedov Street just by chance. A short climb to the small front door…lo and behold onto a charming quaint Georgian style wooden interior. The welcome at the door from the get-go was phenomenal! What a pleasant surprise! Rustic. Cozy. Aged. These are words that come to mind. They specialise in Georgian cuisine, though the menu is not extensive it’s sufficient to quench your appetite. And we were not disappointed… the chicken soup was delicious with two huge chunks of meat within. The traditional beef soup was laced with paprika and other flavour full herbs. The beef melted in your mouth! Meanwhile the grilled trout was seasoned with just the right amount of salt and pepper. Very fresh. Grilled to perfection! Come whenever you’re in the neighbourhood…!!! …. service was good too!

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere. I really like this place. For now it is the best Georgian cousin which I have. Absolutely recommend to visit. Also price is really nice. We ordered 10 hinkali, one hachapuri, harcho and beef liver and drinks and payed about 26 euro

The food is really nice and delicious. But the service is not friendly. We came twice and their faces are always unhappy. I hope they will be more friendly.

Average food and poor service (both unhelpful and rude). We had visited during a time where the restaurant was only at half capacity and upon entering the restaurant, both ladies behind the counter looked at us and went back to looking at their phones; rather than asking if we would like a table to dine in. We had to call the staff a few times just to place our order; even though our waitress wrote down our order on a notepad, they still managed to get our order wrong by missing some dishes or only preparing one portion when we had ordered two. The broth of the chicken soup was good, however the chicken itself was simply just boiled chicken placed within the soup afterwards which made the chicken dry. After asking for the bill multiple times (and being ignored), we went to the counter asking to pay and we were told to wait. When leaving the restaurant, our waitress walked by completely ignoring us.
