Nice small cozy tasting room. 3 different flights - wine, port style wines, and hard liquor. Had an amazing experience, ended up buying camomile and plum liquor. Chamomile is unique - cannot buy anywhere. Really recommend this place.

Friendly staff, very welcoming. Great atmosphere and fun theme. Each Port variety has a unique pin-up girl created for it's label. Love the different options they had between the Ports. Spirits and Wine. We enjoyed a lot of the items we tasted, so much, we became a member. Highly recommend this place.

My husband likes ports so if you like ports this is the place, they have a great selection of wines and ports a little bit of everything to please your palate. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. The guests here are fun.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before! We've found PasoPort during our first trip to Paso in March of 2018. They have been another favorite since then. We joined the Port Club this past March, because no one does port, as well as, PasoPort. This past trip we brought friends and introduced them to both the port and the wine. They bought two bottles of port and a white wine. The atmosphere is friendly and casual with beautiful views all around. This is a MUST visit whenever we visit Paso.

Slightly out of the way, rustic winery and distillery. Don’t let the narrow dirt road or rough-looking front fool you - hiding behind the front of the building is a cozy tasting room and a beautiful patio overlooking the oak valley below. Five tastes aren’t enough here, as you’ll want to sample all of the wines, ports, and spirits, and all of them range from very good to outstanding. The wines are made with finesse. I really liked the high end Cabernet, complex, fruity, and very drinkable now. The ports are all very good, the Tawny Port should be excellent with aging. The distilled products are what sets this place apart and worth going for. My favorite is easily the Amaro Liqueur, which starts with a fruity, spicy nose and finishes with a long, satisfying aftertaste, giving you plenty of time to think about all the things you could spike with some Amaro. Very friendly service. Dog friendly. Would be five stars but for the small parking area. Tasting room and patio is accessible if you can drop off at the front of the building. I’d recommend calling ahead for an appointment and let them know if you need the spot.

Perfect outdoor area, paired with friendly service and great wine/port. A little bit out off the Amin street but well worth the trip!

If you are a fan of Port wine, please look no further than Pasoport. My goodness, these are delicious wines! The customer service is excellent and friendly! The wine club definitely makes you feel welcomed, with a personalized card. Also the artwork on the bottle labels are divine. They make it more than just top notch Port wine, it's an experience! Thank you! Highly recommend!

This place was super interesting. They have a partition in their tasting room to separate the wine from the spirits (because CA has some weird law). The wine was very good. They are known for portal, which I did not try (not a fan). The bottles are amazing though. Our server was funny, engaging, and very attentive. We also tried their plum spirit was, although very strong, was quite yummy.

Holy Portuguese Ports, Batman! This place is amazing. Albeit small, Pasoport Winery is certainly mighty with their robust wine selection and event calendar. I have been blessed to tag along with my boyfriend to a blending party and a tasting event at this location and I have not been disappointed! From staff and scenery to variety and flavor, this company has it all! It is definitely a place worth stoping in and checking out if you are in the area and are looking for something to tickle your tastebuds! I look forward to going back in the not so distant future!

The winemaker is one of the best of this area, if not the best if one considers my opinion. Paso Port, Pendrays destilary, Per Caso wines are all side by side, same location, all branches of the family business. I am a fan of all his products and so is my significant other. I like his wines, Nicholas likes his liquor and his fortified wines. Fortified wines that could win a competition with Ports from Portugal, in my point of view...I have been there e me desculpem os portugueses...we have our own here! It is a small winery, run by the husband and wife and one or two assistants. I would call to make an appointment! They also have great gatherings with good quality pairings at times. If they are offering one of their parties make sure to sign up in advance. They fill up quickly. The place is very nice, views of mountains, vineyards and trees. If the day is not very hot I would sit outside to soak it up...

This a unique experience with port ONLY tasting, we LOVE ports! Delicious options and a cozy ambiance. We would definitely be back to get more of these bottles. Wow! Corryn was lovely and hospitable. Thank you so much. Dog friendly.

Incredibly kind staff and all of the wines and ports that we tried were very good. We brought our lunch and ate while doing a tasty. Our pourer, female owner, made the experience amazing!

What a cute winery with really good ports. Pasoport, Percaso and Penray's distillery are in the same location. Simply stated Pasoport is the ports label, Percaso is the wine label and Penray's is the spirits label. What I love about this place is we can come with all types of groups and everyone finds something they can enjoy. I like ports, my husband likes spirits and we can come with friends who prefer wine. Voilà!

A good port is hard to find. As a Napa valley lover, my heart belongs to Prager. Luckily, I have a big heart and an open mind because PasoPort is an incredible find Their ports are less syrupy than Prager and the new rose port is a total gem. Beware. The drive is a little tricky, so look for the pinup girl signs. The tasting area is small, but gorgeous. We were one of two parties there and the woman helping us was very kind. The tasting fee is $15, but is refundable with a two bottle purchase. It was our first time, so we opted to taste the port and the spirits (warning: the grappa is hella strong!). I would have liked to do their club, but it's a lot of port for us. Maybe next time we'll try the regular wine and rethink the wine club.

Came here after asking at another winery if there was a place around with a good port wine. So glad we ventured up the road and made this a stop while in Paso. They have a full tasting that includes 4 very different port wines! While my husband and I said we would never join a winery that we couldn't visit all the time...this place was where the rule was broken! They have such a great assortment of ports that we had to add these to our collection! We joined PasoPort and walked out with a few of the wines too! Looking to try something a little different than just wine, end a day at this place with a port tasting!

Pasoport is a must stop when touring Paso Robles wineries. If you are a Port wine novice or a conissuer you will love the selection. Nestled in a picturesque location my wife and I were greeted by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The selections we sampled were outstanding, especially the Rose port. The staff explained that the port's pinup girl labels were designed by a local artist and named based on the characteristics of the port. It was playful and fun. My wife walked away with 4 bottles and a membership. Do yourselves a favor and stop by. You won't regret it!

Have ordered a couple of times and order has always arrived in good shape and in time. Was fortunate enough to meet the owner/wine maker in 2019. nice man , kinda quiet but knowledgeable!

A nice place with plenty of potential to stand out as a port producer amid a sea of wineries, but I'll be honest: we weren't a big fan of most of the ports and liqueurs that they had when we visited. The tastings were attractively presented in nice glassware and the price was fair. My favorites were the white port and the walnut liqueur. All of the ports though lacked some of the velvety mouthfeel that you get with even a standard Sandeman's Ruby. They tasted more thin and wine-ish than any other port that I've had before. The main issue with the liqueurs was how one-note most of them were; my favorite liqueurs generally have several botanicals and other interesting ingredients alongside the main flavor, but these reminded me more of flavored vodka. I guess they'd be good to mix drinks with, but by themselves they were disappointing. The "pin-up girl" theme was... somewhat amusing, but a bit of a tangent. I really would have liked more details about the port itself--how it's made, more about each of the wines that went into the port, comparisons to the wine-making process, etc. Maybe this would be a good opportunity for more literature and education on port itself more generally. Somewhat out-of-the-way but rustically pleasant location, nice cats, and an adventurous drive up the driveway to get there.

Our group bought 11 bottles as this was our favorite stop from all 4 other wineries we went to.

This place is amazing. Not only that but when I tell people I'm coming here anywhere in Paso Robles, they all know the owners and love them. I don't think I have heard so much about anybody in the valley. I am a huge fan of ports and they do a great job. They also do regular wine and distillates. You won't regret the experience going here. Their staff is also very friendly, probably an extension of the owners' friendliness. I sadly had to stop being a member at Pasoport because I am leaving the state. There is a single lane drive on the way to the winery, but as long as you take it slow you should be all right.

I swanned in to buy port for my teen's school auction without ever having been in before. The ladies working that they were as obliging as one could ever hope. One young lady explained to me the different kinds of port they had, what their flavor notes are, vineyard and grape info et cetera. Which was super helpful in making the decision on what to buy for my teen's school auction (the holiday blend). Great staff, didn't try any port but everyone else who was indulging seemed quite happy.

We had a group vacation last week and planned a stop in Paso Robles. We selected Paso Port/Penray's Distillery for one of our stops because we were super curious about their different styles and varieties of port and spirits. This ended up being my favorite of our stops. This place is a little hard to find, since it's off the beaten path and up a hill, and signage is elusive and easy to misinterpret (add arrows to your big signs guys!). The tasting room is small and only accommodates about 6-8 people at a given time, and we were exceedingly lucky, as a party of 6, to drop in at a time when we were the only visitors (make reservations if you have a group or are at all worried about a crowd, you don't want to miss this place). Upon arrival, we were welcomed in and seated and given the rundown of our tasting options. We selected 3 port tasting flights and 2 spirits tasting flights for our group, all flights were modestly priced, with costs being waived with purchases of bottles. The port flight is a curated selection of 5 ports, and every one of them is different and delightful. The spirits flight includes 5 tastings of 6 available options. Our hostesses were lovely and briefly explained the selections and the process of port making, what sets this winery apart, and offered tasting notes on their wares. Then they graciously took a step back and let us enjoy ourselves at our own pace, always within earshot to answer questions or offer additional information. It was my favorite kind of tasting, offering lots of room for genuinely enjoying each sip, while still having plenty of expert knowledge on hand to appreciate the craftsmanship of the product. I enjoyed each and every port on the tasting list, but standouts for me were the Violetta with it's lively fruitiness, the Noel (a holiday port that manages to taste just like it belongs in a Dickensian Christmas story), and their Angelica, a white port that conjures up elderflowers and gooseberries and green apples, with honeydew melon and orange muscat grapes and has all the charms of a beautiful spring day while still being elegant and refined and utterly different than any other posrt I've tasted. They also offer a very good Tawny port that has all of the wonderful bruleed sugar and raisin notes of a good tawny port, but without the oversweetness and syrupy mouthfeel that some tawnys suffer from. I would have bought a bottle of each if I'd have had the budget for it! Of the spirits, all were good, but a couple were exceptionally good. Their apple brandy is one of the best I've ever had and evokes the taste and aroma of rosy skinned apples at the height of the late summer harvest. The Amaro is a joy: warm orange notes with a hint of bitter almond, a perfect warmer for a winter night. But the absolute star of the menu was the Walnut liqueur, which is not to be missed. In a tasting of favorites, this was everyone's FAVORITE taste, sweet and nutty, with a depth to it that offers the aroma of walnut both as woodsy, toasty aromatic and sweet pastry notes. Wonderful stuff! Prices are very fair and the staff are wonderful. Their wine club seems pretty good too if you are a regular drinker of port. As an art nerd, I really loved the label art for both Paso Port, which features beautiful retro pinups that embody the characteristics of each variety, and Pendray's, which reminds me a bit of antique English apothecary labels and whose bottles are wax-sealed with coordinating wax colors. Highly recommended and not to be missed if you are a fan of port or brandy.

It's been some time (Covid) since last time I've visited but love the selections here. Port especially the atmosphere is chill and the staff are really knowledgeable and helpful. Great gifts for the family

On Thursday, As we were heading Sextant from Opolo, we noticed a sign of highway 46 for Pasoport. Then I said to myself, "Self, is this true? Is there really a winery in Paso that specializes in Port wine." So we followed the signs, up a hill dotted with signs of scantily clad pin up models. A great way to get men to appreciate wine I thought. The tasting room at Pasoport is small but rustic. Just how a tasting room should be. The woman that was pouring fo us was very knowledgeable about the various Port Pasoport produces 6 from what I recall. The Havana port was only available to wine club members, but I was able to try it. Very much a cigar smoking port. The other ports ranged from a traditional Portuguese style port to some proprietary blends. My favorite, as well as my mom's was the Zinfandel port. By the way, my mom was not a port drinker until Pasoport. We ended up walking out with 4 bottles. There is enough parking for about 4 cars. We were there on a Thursday so I can only imagine what parking is like on the weekend. The location is beautiful. The winery sits on top of a hill overlooking some beautiful scenery. Sadly, there isn't a place to sit outside and enjoy your wine with a view.

The staff here are friendly and knowledgable. The wine tower presentation is classy. The spirts and ports worth tasting. You can not leave here without purchasing a bottle, or two.

What a great location! I didn't realize Paso Robles had so many cute lil' distilleries. We were eager to try out Paso Port. Warning: There is a one way road leading up to the tasting room, drive safely. The main room is for port and wine tastings. The room to the side is for tasting the liqueurs (silly prohibition laws in California don't allow them to share a location). However you can mix and match tastings of wine, ports, and liqueurs. The staff here are so sweet! They are knowledgeable and take their time to explain each sample. I love the pin up themed names of each port. The art work is so creative. The variety of their ports is great. There is a port for each taste here. I still think Zin Alley had my favorite Paso Robles Port but this place is a very close second.

Whether you've tried port or not, go here to taste great port & a variety of wine too! Unique Portuguese grape variety. Unpretentious atmosphere for beginners and wine pros! Kind, patient & friend staff & casual patio with a variety of seating with a beautiful valley view.

We had visited PasoPort during another Paso trip and had previously enjoyed it so we decided to head back after our pick up party at L'Aventure. While the wines are decent enough, and the ports are fantastic, the service definitely left something to be desired. We were one of only 2 groups tasting while we were there and getting the girl who was pouring for us to engage was a struggle. We asked questions about the wine and received short answers. I'm not sure if she just didn't know a whole lot about the wine or didn't want to be there but it didn't make for the best experience. We still left with some bottles because they are good, but the experience definitely could have benefited from someone who acted like they wanted to be there.

My husband and I have been coming up to this area for years and have just discovered PasoPort Winery. Not only are the ports unlike anything we have ever had, the wine as well will blow your mind. Corryn, who walked us through our tasting, was kind, fun and knowledgeable. Do yourself a favor and visit PasoPort Winery, not only are the ports amazing, but so are the wines.

Stopped by for my Spring pick-up and enjoyed a tasting as well. Absolutely love the variety available at Paso Port - the ports, the wines, and spirits. Thank you to you all at Paso Port!

Officially now a port club member ! My very first wine club membership because I love this place so much ! It is so difficult to find good and exceptionally amazing ports. Look no further, this place rocks ! A special shout out to Corryn for answering ALL our questions and for taking really good care of us ! We can't wait for our Fall shipment ! Tasted ports with Sonda as our guide and what a wonderful trip it was! Fabulous port wines, reasonable prices and a very knowledgeable guide. TSA is not going to be happy if they check my luggage.

Amazing ports! I've had the ports from the other wineries in the area and thus far, PasoPort is still my favorite to the point that signing up for the membership was a no brainer for me! I haven't tasted their regular wines and so I have no opinion on those. My buddy is a member of their distellery and enjoys their spirits. I haven't had a chance to taste their liqueurs, but their apple brandy is delicious. This place is worth the visit if you haven't been here before.

This was an amazing experience. Corinne was such a gracious and knowledgeable hostess. We tried the spirits and the ports which were all so delicious.

This place has the best port wine in the industry. I used to drive 2 hours just to stock up, now I've become a member of their club. Once you have tried their ports, there is no way to go back to any other brand. High quality. Great place to just sit on their back porch in the Spring and sip their port.

Ok, so one wine was good. But the customer service sucks!!! We showed up, and we wanted to purchase a wine that my friend loved. However when we greeted at the door it was as if they had a bad day, they must have had planes because they scooted it out as my ch as possible.

Located on the top of a hill this producer makes ports that are AMAZING! It was the 1st and only place in Paso Robles that we joined their club. If your interested in exploring the world of Ports or flavored spirits then this is a must stop! Cupcakes are also goooooooood!!!

Such a lovely atmosphere and excellent hospitality. The variety of tastings and qualify of the liquor is outstanding. A definite place to stop while in Paso Robles.

For me, this is a great winery. The wines are mature and have depth compared to some in and around Paso Port. I liked the Iberian, the Zin and the BDX. I preferred the BDX and the person with me enjoyed the ports. This is one of the best in the area. I like wine and visit Napa often. This winery is on par with any Napa wine.

This is a must stop every time we are in town. Their ports are my favorite! The Noel is a Christmas favorite. Love to break this out after a good meal. Their spirits are amazing! Walnut, apple brandy. Truly wonderful. Atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. Extremely friendly. My dog loves it there as well.Dog friendly for sure! Always leave with no less than 4 bottles

Very delicious and amazing things going on at this place. The wine is great, some perfectionists are definitely here. They have some beautiful labeling on their bottles, all sexy women with names. This is a place you shouldn't pass up. I brought Angelica home with me, I couldn't bring all the girls but I'm definitely going to order them. It's a bit of a drive going up the mountain but you'll be happy to have arrived and tried the wines.

This place is off the main road and a little climb on a unpaved road, but well worth it. The service was great and they had us try 4 different ports. I liked the Ruby and Brandi the best. The artwork here makes a bottle perfect for a bachelor party (think Jessica Rabbit). I'd definitely recommend this to anyone!

Very impressive port-style wines. You will find this winery on top of a hill, with a great view. Their wines are named for women (like hurricanes...lol) They had white ports, zinfandel ports, syrah ports, muscat ports. I went down the line and tasted them all. I was very pleased that there was no tasting fee. I took home a bottle of 2009 Brandi Zinfandel Port. Be sure if you are going to go by this place that this is the last stop of your day - as your palate will be wrecked from the sweet finish. Our wine guide was cute and friendly. Check it out.

Darn. They don't consider me industry because I'm from a different region! Got to say, I'm offended. I guess they aren't too into hospitality. We left. So much for discovering a cool place to recommend. My husband was really wanting to stock up on port, too. We just tried one which wasn't awesome....good, not awesome.

As we were arriving, a group of people were coming out and one lady told us "hide your wallets!", LOL! We soon found out why. I've been to my fair share of wineries, but this was probably my favorite. For years, I have contemplated joining a wine club, but I never really liked all of the wines I tasted at a single winery. Pasoport broke me down! I like a variety of wines, from Cabs to Moscatos to blends, but I consistently favor ports and port styles so this was definitely a good fit for me. The sommelier was friendly and knowledgeable about the product (as most are) and the atmosphere was relaxing and casual.

Adorable location - but crazy 1 lane windy road up thru the woods to get there! The big door out front - not the door! Follow the sign around the side! Staff was extrememly friendly, bottles and illustrations are awesome. alas - i thought their table wine was ok, but their ports were more bandy than ports and i was not fan. But take a pop up, enjoy the scenerly and tasting!

This is a must-visit place of you love ports. It's family owned and operated, and they have an intimate tasting room. Don't let the dusty road and seemingly secluded spot fool you. They make excellent ports here, some of which will blow your mind with their flavor profiles. People who use bottle art to influence their decisions will love the pin up girl art created by a local artist that graces their signs and bottles . Each woman represents something unique to the owner. And speaking of price, the ports here are reasonably priced, about $37- $50 per bottle. They are also creating a series of spirits called Pendray's in the same building. They have created a separate area in the building to sell it. Their first item is a brandy that is strong and appropriate for winter. They wee also experimenting with espresso liqueurs as well. I don't drink brandy but this was so good that we bought one bottle of it as well. Definitely worth the visit.

If you've never tried their ports, you're really missing out. They are outstanding. We love them so much we bought a bottle of each. Call for an appointment and go try them. We can't tell you how delicious they ! And the setting is really charming.
