Great variety of books in different languages and lovely staff!

Thank you so much for helping me find the Ukrainian books in your lovely shop today for me to buy. I was saddened to see so many Russian classics everywhere in bookshops throughout Brussels and so few books from Ukraine. Your shop was a bit of a pleasant exception (while Russian classics were still in abundance). Of course, every bookseller knows what will sell and has to keep the business afloat first and foremost. At the same time, it is now obvious to everyone in Europe how brutally Russia is trying to not only silence but frankly obliterate and eradicate all cultural content that is not Russian in the countries that are unfortunate enough to be located in its geographical vicinity. Given the centuries of Russian oppression and attempts at annihilation, especially, but not exclusively, directed at Ukraine, I believe it is our responsibility to finally hear and promote the voices of the oppressed.

I love this bookstore! The employees are super friendly and helpful. The variety of books is great, and the place feels very cozy yet modern.

One of my all-time favourite bookstores. They have such a great selection of authors like Clarice Lispector, Samanta Schweblin and Deborah Levy, and the best poetry! I always come out with a new list of books to buy. 100% recommend.

The number of times I've walked into this store and bumped into the graphic novel that just had to come on my path that very moment is just... surreal. The Passa Porta people are word magicians. Customer for life.

Really good fiction collection and recommendations if you're looking for English books aside from French and Dutch! A lot Better than big book shops like Standaard Boekhandel which only seems to have gimmicky bestsellers promoted by majorly American publishers

Fabulous bookshop for books in English, French, Dutch and German for adults and just Dutch for children.

Great place to shop for English books as well! When u go downstairs u go to the mostly English non-fiction books which is great! Definitely recommended!
