Loved this place. The layout, the ambience and atmosphere - all makes for a lovely browsing / reading experience. Tucked away from the street, you can make your way to the bookshop through a small passage. Spread out over two floors - it has a considerable selection of English language books including US and UK editions. The staff were lovely, and they had fresh flowers at different corners of the shop and beautiful music - I almost didn’t want to leave 🥹

It’s a really nice bookstore and has a wide selection of English books but the staff take little initiative to help you find what you are looking for. I asked for clarification whether the books I was looking for was at the back of the store or downstairs and he indicated that downstairs was were I could find non fiction books, so I interpreted this as the correct place. The staff saw me go downstairs knowing I was in the wrong section for 30 mins and did not come to help or mention anything. In the end I went back upstairs to eventually find the books. However, this could have been avoided had the staff done their job with care instead of choosing to prioritise eating at their desk.

My favourite bookshop in Brussels! Such a good selection in English, French, German and Dutch literature. Friendly staff and interesting displays.

Great bookshop with a large selection of books in English. I often find editions that I do not see elsewhere. If they don't have a book, they offer to order it. They also organise events with local and international writers.

Well curated and great variety of literary fiction books in English.

One of my all-time favourite bookstores. They have such a great selection of authors like Clarice Lispector, Samanta Schweblin and Deborah Levy, and the best poetry! I always come out with a new list of books to buy. 100% recommend.

Perhaps the most politically biased bookstore in Brussels. Their history and politics section looks like it was curated by the Ayayollah Khamenei. Not there to open minds, but to spread ideology. Avoid like the plague.

Yelp
The best place to go when you are looking for Dutch fiction and non-fiction (there's also a lot of English and French books available). Excellent bookshop, knowledgeable staff, and overall a nice place to be.
