8 places in Tokyo to get your specialty coffee fix - SilverKris

"Run by 2014 World Aeropress Champion Shuichi Sasaki in Minato City, this charming coffee den was opened to fill a gap in local specialty coffee; it serves elegant barista-crafted drinks, attracts students, salarymen and locals, and offers a pleasant outdoor patio where a filter brew is ideal on fine weather days." - Rachel Eva Lim

This might just be the single greatest coffee shop I have been to. The Kenya bean cappuccino is the smoothest coffee I have ever tried. Top that with a home made granola where you can taste the roast and it feels smooth and smoky almost. I actually now face the problem of finding somewhere that competes. The staff are absolutely lovely, and it’s perfectly unique. You don’t come here for a meal, you come here for an exquisite coffee, a vibe and a small bite. So well done. I had to come back twice. Thank you 🙏

The coffee here is delicious. Their selection of beans is top tier. Geishas and special processed beans. Their selection of baked goods is small but perfect. They also sell many more beans than they have available for brewing in the shop. Worth it for those who love amazing coffee

One of my fave coffee shop in Tokyo. Serve great coffee. Their pourover coffee is really good and they open early. The place is quiet and the street outside got a great view of Tokyo Tower.

Loved the balance of the coffee, though for me personally I’d go for a double shot. It’s the spot to capture Tokyo Tower from the perfect distance before heading into the nearby park. Would definitely stop by again if I’m ever in the area!

Specialty coffee shop that serves a choice of various coffees also prepared at the patron's desired method (drip, chemex, etc.). Decor is modern with a lot of wood. I had the decaf coffee which was very interesting in being a more tart and acidic than any coffee that I had tasted until then. Given the interesting blends and coffees available (including the pricey geisha), this should be on the map for any coffee lover. Price also reflects that as I recall paying north of JPY1500 for the coffee.

Really wonderful. The cafe is beautiful and has beautiful light. The staff is warm and friendly. The coffee (Ethiopian bean) was smooth and flavorful. The chocolate cake was immaculate. Really loved the place. Thank you

Great coffee! The cold brew is flavourful and fragrant, preferred it slightly over the americano. Nice ambiance but tables are a bit small. Good place for a break after exploring around Tokyo

A wonderful and cozy café. The staff were friendly, and one of them even opened the door for me while I was standing outside with my umbrella. I chose Brazilian beans, as they mentioned they’re less sour. The coffee had a delicate flavor—somewhere between coffee and tea—and I could definitely taste a variety of subtle aromas.
