This is one of our favorite spots in Greenville! The food and service are always above and beyond. I had the goat cheese gnocchi this time and it was to die for! My husband also liked his pork. The dessert was outstanding! We will continue to return when we are in town!

Google
Our waitress Stephanie was a complete doll. Best service we have ever received. The food and atmosphere was perfect. I’m Cajun and used to eating at French restaurants in New Orleans and this place was comparable to that. Very happy with our experience.

Google
Everything here was perfect, besides the prices were a bit grandiose. But the food was definitely worth the price, the setting was gorgeous and the service was amazing. For an upscale restaurant, my pup and I felt very comfortable and our waitress Stephanie even sat with my pup while I used the bathroom since I was dining alone. She loved the extra lovins and the water bowl that was brought out on such a hot day. Thank you!

We loved the soup of the day (chicken corn chowder). Delicious! And our two women bartenders (hate we did not get their names) were so knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great place for food, wine, view, and staff.

My son and I finally got the opportunity to try lunch here, after a field trip in town. We were lucky enough to eat on the patio where a busker was playing saxophone nearby. Our waiter was kind and personable, and the food came out incredibly fast and hot. It was DELICIOUS, and so relaxing. We even brought home some soup and a piece of the quiche special. We’re looking forward to slightly warmer weather when we can come back and enjoy lunch to the sounds of the waterfall.

Google
Always great food and service. My wife had the chicken croissant while I ordered the olives since our plans were last minute and I had already eaten elsewhere. The weather was excellent for outdoor seating and its a great place for watching the park activity

Google
The absolute best truffle fries of my life and have had had many many! Lovely little place with beautiful view and fantastic staff. Our order included: Truffle fries: 1000000/10 Olives 10/10 Brussels sprout salad: 9/10 Best salad: 10/10 Crème brûlée: 1000/10 incredible!

Google
Such a dreamy romantic place! The food is spectacular- simple and perfect with every ingredient at the peak of freshness, perfectly assembled, and artfully presented. We had salads both times we visited and if I lived closer I would be here weekly. The peach special salad was perfection and the berry salad even better. We loved the extensive wine list and desserts too. It is impossible not to love this restaurant with gorgeous views of the park and falls and food that is like a little trip to Paris. Service was also friendly and attentive. This place is lovely in every way!!

Yelp
Husband brought me to this beautiful spot located in downtown Greenville. Highly recommend having a reservation for quick seating, they do allow walk ins. Service was impeccable. We got seated on the patio with probably the best view at the restaurant. The day we went we heard someone playing live music outdoors which added to the ambiance. Food is heavy so come hungry. There are lighter options to eat on the menu. If food coma hits, the restaurant is situated right along the pathways so one can walk off the calories.

Yelp
I was in Greenville for a conference and wanted to explore downtown. It was a beautiful afternoon so I sought out a restaurant with outdoor dining and after reading reviews for Passerelle Bistro I thought it would be the perfect spot. I made a reservation for one at 7:30 PM on a Friday, so I thought I might get snubbed taking a table for just myself on a popular night. I felt that the staff was more than welcoming and even saw another person dining alone, so don't be nervous to go alone! My waitress brought me a couple wine samples when I couldn't decide and was very friendly to me. I started with the crunchy bread, which is from a local bakery. This was probably my favorite part of the meal. My main course was the steak frites, which was just okay. The cut of meat was pretty tough and my potatoes felt undercooked a bit. I got the creme brulee for dessert which was also average. The food wasn't the best but the ambiance and service was on point. They stayed busy so it is definitely a popular establishment in Greenville.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a weekday and had a wonderful time! The pitcher of water at the table was a nice touch, especially on a hot day. My partner had the croque monsieur and my sibling had the lunch burger - both thought they were amazing and not too heavy. I just munched on some fries which I found good also.

Yelp
Loved, loved, LOVED this place! Cannot say more good things about it- perfect spot to dine near the Falls. Service was quick and prices were inexpensive. Most importantly, food was delicious. A must if you're in town!

Yelp
I love to try new things, but I just can't help going back to Passerelle Bistro time and again. We were drawn there first because the view of Reedy Falls in downtown Greenville is beautiful and soothing. It's the food and service, however, that have kept us coming back. Tonight's pesto arancini and duck breast were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Kudos to Darcy- this evening's manager- for sharing the secret of her French 75 cocktail. I can't wait for the rhubarb shrub she teased is coming soon!

Yelp
The mussels were delicious and my husband loved his chicken salad croissant. The setting is picturesque. I'd you sit on the patio you can see the river and listen to the falls. Service is warm and friendly, and we had a wonderful special lunch here.

Yelp
We had such a wonderful time here! The weather was so nice, a perfect day for brunch! On the walk to the restaurant, at the bottom of the stairs, there was a troubadour playing songs we all know and l love. Then at the restaurant we were greeted with a smiling face and immediately sat at a table overlooking the falls. There was a bit of a chill in their air but the space heaters balanced that out. I ordered a latte with Baileys and my husband got an Irish Coffee. We were also served waters with our own carafe which is always appreciated! For our meal, there were so many enticing options on the menu, it was hard to narrow down. But ultimately we decided on the following: Crispy Goat Cheese phyllo, blueberry & lavender jam, candied walnuts, citrus gel Parisian Ham & Gruyere Omelette* pickled red onions, dressed green salad French Toast Monte Cristo ham, brie, blueberry & lavender jam, brioche french toast, powdered sugar, frites Everything was delicious! Afterwards we took a stroll across the bridge back and got lots of great pictures!

Yelp
We made reservations for 7 for brunch before heading to peace center. We were seated right away. Started with the croissant and fruit basket. The croissants were soft and buttery and the fig jam complimented it well. For entree ordered the monte cristo with disco fries. The monte cristo was good great balance between savory and sweet. Fries were seasoned well and enjoy the hollandaise and cheese on the fries. Would definitely return.

Yelp
Service was great, food came out fast and was banging. The overall vibe of the restaurant was on point and it is a great place for a date night.

Yelp
Visiting the area on a Monday for lunch. Tables by the edge already reserved so no looking at the waterfall. But we had a nice table with a nice breeze. Our waitress was Dianne and she was very good, attentive and friendly. Had red pepper soups, salad with shrimp, Grilled Cheese that came with salad and tomato soup and the Croque Monsieur with French fries. All the food was tasty. I would have not had the grilled cheese on such a thick bread and my salad needed just a touch more dressing. The cup of soup is large. We thought it was a bowl of soup. The croque monsieur was good but it did not appear to have been grilled and very little ham. Yet, again, the food was tasty. The atmosphere is what sold us. And we appreciated the waitress attention to detail. My brother had a French Martini and it was yummy. Total cost for three people (two had water) was $84 plus a tip. 6/17/24

Yelp
Visiting Greenville this weekend. We came across Passerelle Bistro after walking over the bridge. Beautiful setting. It was cool enough to sit outside. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious Would recommend to all. The Brie and crostini was delicious as was my Arugula Salad. My guest had the Boulibaisse which he found to be excellent! Only downside were the bathrooms

Yelp
We waited for 10 minutes and still didn't get our mineral water. We decided to leave and went to Between The Trees. Much better flair and attentive staff. Never again.

Yelp
Loved being here! Sitting out on the patio when the sun is out gives you that definite French bistro vibe. Great service, dog friendly, amazing dishes, with a view you can't beat. Must try!

Yelp
Just stopped by here for some water and a rose spritz , was refreshing on a hot sunny day. With a great view. Want to try the food next time I'm in town

Yelp
My husband and I went here during restaurant week and it was amazing! I had the crab artichoke dip, swordfish, and espresso torte. He got the arancini, short rib, and crumble. We also got a glass of cab franc and merlot cab. All of it was full of flavor. The artichoke dip came with a naan bread and had a good amount of artichoke/crab. The swordfish was very tender and came with a great creamy sauce. The chocolate torte had an espresso cream with it and was pretty good too. Service was great and it has a cute environment.

Yelp
Such a lovely French bistro with a fantastic menu and great staff. We went in October and sat outside for their brunch menu. The monte cristo was superb! Their location by the falls provides a nice pre or post-meal stroll through the park. If you're lucky, a street performer will be nearby putting the cherry on top of your patio dining experience!

Yelp
We ate here for our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was amazing! It is so peaceful. Our server was phenomenal! I truly think it was the best service we have ever had! The food was so good. I wish we lived in Greenville so that we could come more often. We started with the crusty bread and the mussels. Both were amazing! For the entrees, my husband had the steak frites, and I had the trout with herb potatoes and brussel sprouts. They were both perfect! I really would not have changed one thing! Dessert was crème brûlée and chocolate mousse. Again, both were amazing! It could not have been better! I highly recommend this restaurant. Eat outside, if the weather is nice.

Yelp
This place has been on my list try for a while now and the food was good. I thought this was a high class place but it's decently casual. I'm glad I dressed down some before coming here. We sat outside and it was the perfect day for it. I did think it was strange the hostess did not ask if we prefer inside or outside though. I'm just glad it was not a sweltering hot day since we were placed outside. Our server was good. She seemed a little too preoccupied with something else but she checked on us and we never had to wonder where she was. I ordered the muscle and red snapper dish and it was good. The prices were decent enough and I feel like I got enough bang for my buck. I would maybe go back on a nice spring day to enjoy the view.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots in Greenville. I like to stop by for breakfast/brunch after a walk on the Greenway. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food is always well cooked and the servings are plentiful. When in Greenville stop by, you won't regret it.

Yelp
Beautiful day for lunch on the patio at PASSERELLE BISTRO!!! Mussels and cheeseburgers were so delicious!!! Well prepared!!! Rebecca was our super friendly and professional server who provided us with excellent service today!!! We really enjoyed our dining experience at PASSERELLE! It's fun to play tourist in my beautiful city of Greenville!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We walked by this place several times the last couple of days. Today we decided to try it. My husband had the Bouillabaise and I had the mussels. Both were absolutely delicious and came with just the right amount of perfectly toasted bread. We split the crème brûlée and he had an espresso. The service was great. Our waitress kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Great location at the top of Falls Park.
google avatar

Yelp
For the ambiance alone, Passerelle Bistro would automatically rate 5 stars for me. A very nice patio area perched above Falls Park with a great view, it was a pleasure taking in the space ( and we weren't even seated along the rail; it's just a fine spot ). While we didn't choose to sit inside, the space looks very nice and enjoyable. Next time. After a walk along the park, taking in the falls and riverwalk we decided to find some refreshment here. The hostess greeted us immediately and found a nice table for two on the patio. Our server, Jensen, was great; warm and friendly she got us set up and under way. While I didn't take the time to peruse it properly, let me say that the wine list is pretty extensive, at least the bottle selection. By-the-glass options are a tad limited but excellent. Though I don't remember the vineyard, we enjoyed a pretty tasty Cabernet Franc that I will have to track down once I get home. As for our food choices, I went with the Soup of the Day, a nice sausage and vegetable soup / gumbo and a side of crusty bread that was just perfect for a slightly chilly afternoon. My better half chose Grilled Cheese and Tomato Fondue that I will have to order next time if I'm back in Greenville ( and I home I'll get the chance! ). So I'd have to say, if you find yourself in the amazingly charming Downtown Greenville do yourself a favor and make the short climb up the stairs from the falls and find yourself a table at Passerelle Bistro. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
We had the brussel sprouts appetizer and it was outstanding!!! The service was fantastic- Holly really made our dinner special. We sat outside overlooking the river and falls. Just beautiful!! The entrees- salmon and lamb were off the charts GREAT!!!! The Chef was on Beat Bobby Flay and she is making wonderful food!!! When in Greenville go here - it's a special place!!
google avatar

Arnab B.

Yelp
We ordered soup, Steak frites and Seared T-Bone lamb chops! First of all, the portion size were very small compared to price of the dishes! $37 for 3 small pieces of lamb chops doesn't make sense! And $32 for some pieces bad pieces of steak doesn't make any sense! The meats were too low quality, dry and tasteless! Honestly, this is to me a trap! Only plus is that they have outdoor seating by the falls park! Other than that I wouldn't really recommend any food here!
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
Quaint little restaurant in a prime location to enjoy outdoor seating and catching a glimpse of the waterfall. We ordered a round of drinks consisting of the margarita and gin cocktails. Everyone seemed to enjoy. The bread and appetizers were good. The trout was my selection for the night. Flavorful yet simple would be the perfect description of the entree.

Yelp
We came here hoping for an enjoyable date night with family but unfortunately our plans were spoiled. I'm amazed that a place like this can stay in business when the only thing going for it is the view. Our waitress was attentive in the beginning but as our meal progressed, her service began to fall off. Also the food runner was incredibly unprofessional as she basically threw our plates down on the table. We had 2 orders of escargot which seemed to be prepared by different people. One order had 10 pieces and the other had 7. They were smothered in a cream based sauce and very salty. Each of us ordered a different entree with 3 of us ordering red meat, one lamb and 2 seafood dishes. None of the steaks were cooked to our desired temperature. The Bouillabaisse had several mussels that were spoiled and tasted like sewage, the fish was overcooked, and the shrimp were like chewing gum. The other 2 dishes were edible but nothing spectacular. We mentioned the Bouillabaisse tasting bad to our waitress yet it was still left on our bill. The view is not worth the food poisoning! Do yourself a favor and enjoy the multitude of other great restaurants in Greenville!

Yelp
Love the outdoor atmosphere, food is delicious , service no complaints and plus it's doggie friendly outdoor. Love it here.

Yelp
Friday's bridal luncheon to celebrate the bride to be. This was the cutest little French bistro tucked away in downtown Greenville, SC. Right beside the river walk and in the center of downtown. Croque Monsieur Bistro Grilled Cheese & Tomato Fondue Niçoise salad Crispy Goat Cheese with blueberry and lavender jam Mocktail mule

Yelp
What a cute place for dinner. We ate here with a group of 8 and 3 of us ordered the Bouillabaisse b it was fantastic! All others enjoyed. Their salads and trout. Great service and they also let us split checks.

Yelp
Service - Male host very nice and efficient Wait Staff - Very good. Efficient. Plenty of water and didn't interrupt our discussions. Very team oriented which we love. What would we order again? Niscoise Salad - A perfect amount of dressing. The tuna was lovely as was the rest of the salad. What would we not order again? Chicken Salad on a Croissant - Croissant wasn't flakey and the chicken salad bland.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal outside. The service was excellent. Tuesday night was a great day of the week, there were two other tables besides us. Started with the Mussels Passerelle, the sauce was very flavorful. We ordered the Crusty Bread too. The mussels were excellent and perfect. The extra bread was a bonus to dip into the mussels broth. Definitely recommend them. For our mains we both got the Steak Frites. Both steaks were cooked correctly and a nice quality of meat. Fries were great and crispy. The bordelaise sauce was great to dip the fries in. A very enjoyable meal.

Yelp
What a delightful bistro. They have perfect location over looking waterfall. The food was delicious and OMG the drinks were incredible. Hats off the bar manager. Service was impeccable. We enjoyed hanging out and not being rushed. Beautiful place. Definitely for a romantic date!

Yelp
On previous trips to Greenville we had eaten lunch here and enjoyed the ambience overlooking the Reedy river and the falls, which for out-of-town folks is pretty unique and particularly lovely in good weather. We beat the crowd with an early reservation, so the ambience was perfect and not too loud or boisterous. This was our first evening meal here, however, and with a bit of an evening chill we sat inside this time.. We started with mixed drinks- a Kentucky Colonel for me and a French 75 for my partner. Nice. We decided to sip these through dinner rather than have wine. We shared the petite Salad with fresh greens and just the right amount of dressing. She had the river trout which she reported was very tasty. For me, the seared duck breast with green peppercorn sauce served over pureed potato, with tasty grilled shredded cabbage was one of the best duck preparations I have ever experienced. I love duck breast but other kitchens do not always get it so moist and flavorful with more than a minuscule portion or without smothering it in a sweet sticky sauce. This duck was not only tasty and moist, but the flavor combination with the cabbage was surprising. The attentive but not intrusive service- reminded us of the Hulu series "the Bear" where an effort to make the patrons meal enjoyable is evident! Definitely worth a trip.

Jackie M.

Yelp
We went on Valentine's Day so I think the service was a little off, but very crowded and busy. The kitchen is exposed and that evening it was very smoky in the restaurant. Again, I think they overbooked and squeezed too many people in and overloaded their grills. We left smelling like smoke and meat which was disappointing especially on Valentine's Day. The burger was awesome.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
The croissants are FAKE. They are just bread in the shape of a croissant. And they were stale. And they were terrible. The watermelon salad was disgusting. It was not fresh. Small bits of overripe watermelon. Too much vinegar in the dressing. The omelette had no seasoning. How can you mess up an omelette. It was tasteless. Even the potatoes were bad. This place was a huge letdown. The only thing positive was the outside seating by the waterfall.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
Service was fantastic and the food was great. I had the steak and frites, which I thought tasted good and had a large portion. The ambiance is really nice along the water as well.

Yelp
Great food and great views. We made our lunch reservations about two weeks prior and in glad we did because we were able to get an excellent view. The staff was also nice and attentive. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Greenville.

Yelp
Had a delicious chicken sandwich without the bread. Even though not a big portion of food I would still return for another visit. Sitting on the patio is very nice and relaxing. The waitress was very friendly also but everyone that walked by table was very nice.

Yelp
I love this spot. Been to the bistro more than once for lunch. The menu offers delicious choices from salads, soup and sandwiches and the ambience couldn't be better. Falls Park is the perfect setting for a romantic lunch or kicking back with some friends. The service is on point. I will return.
google avatar

Yelp
When the weather is perfect, as it was during our visit, this spot is a superb al fresco dining option. It is unapologetic bistro menu executed expertly. Service is courteous, efficient and professional, even at busy times. Enjoy!

Daniel K.

Yelp
This little Bistro has fantastic food, service and is so cute located right by the falls! The croque madame was fantastic!

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch with friends while visiting Greenville. Park-like setting right by the Reedy. Cute little French bistro. Quiche, tuna bowl, salmon over spinach salad and tomato soup with grilled cheese. Very nice, lovely day to sit outside, and our server took great care of us. Excellent lunch.
google avatar

Kanyawee T.

Yelp
We went there for lunch during the weekday. We made reservation online through OpenTable the day of with many availability. Food: 3.5/5 foods are just okay. Nothing stood out or impressive. The portion size is good for the prize. Out of all the things we ordered, I like the mussels the best. Server: 4/5 very friendly and quick service Atmosphere: 5/5 cannot beat the location right inside the park. I think it is a great spot for a date

Paul D.

Yelp
Exceptional service. If every restaurant team was this engaged, the world would be a better place. Food was also excellent. Great experience.

Yelp
Let me explain. I feel there are two types of restaurant goers. Those that love the food alone and want the best wine, apps, entre, and grade everything based on taste. And then there are those who lean more toward the experience of eating out, the atmosphere, the look, the feel of the place. I struggled between 3 and 4 stars. Settled on 4 for 4 reasons: One: BIG star for staff. They deserve 5 stars on staff alone. Our waitress Kali was amazing. She was attentive, friendly, had great recommendations, and just a pleasure. TWO: BIG star for atmosphere. Adorable little set up by the waterfall. The breeze coming off the water and sounds of the falls is perfect. It was clean, cute, well-kept, no spiders on the umbrellas or overhang, and the ground was outside, yet still very clean. THREE: BIG star for taste. Well, at least my taste. I ordered the croque monsieur and it was decent! But my boyfriend ordered the bistro burger and said it tasted like shrimp? Odd. FOUR: you can see from the photo that the plate is very large, perhaps they could bring smaller plates to make it look like there are more fries to fill the space? Presentation wasn't really up to 5 star quality and we each had about 25 fries on the plate. Which was plenty, but looked a little funny on such a big setting. They were also (not their fault) waiting on mussels to be delivered for the day. Mussels is one of their main entrees and we had lunch around 1pm. I'm sure that hurt a tad as I heard at LEAST 6 people around us try to order them. I did feel price was fair for what we got, but although I thought my lunch was decent, it wasn't mind-blowing (the bread was impossible to cut with only a butter knife, and the cheese was on a little thin.) And my boyfriend barely ate half the burger since he couldn't handle the taste of shrimp. All in all, it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't a disaster by any means! It seems like a great place to go for an appetizer and glass of wine on a nice spring day with girlfriends. And I am definitely one who goes to restaurants for the experience and atmosphere, which was lovely.

Yelp
Worst French bistro ever. Steak frites is a signature dish of any French bistro. Here was a low quality cut, sirloin tip or London broil LOL, definitely not a strip, hanger, or iron steak. Wow and fries greasy af. Worst steak frites in my life. Chef cooked perfect rare but quality of steak was the problem. Server had zero passion and bad attitude. Didn't understand anything about French food. Pate and foie gras you never heard of? Was skeptical from the beginning being near a tourist spot, I was hoping for a surprise it was so typical shitty food around a touristy area. Lyonnaise under dressed lardons are not but bacon bits. Escargot had unpleasant creamy spicy Mayo type sauce. Duck confit said with wrong plate and no flavor cassoulet garnish. Sirloin or worst cut need to be sliced thin to be tender. Server said she had no problem eating it, then that shows you don't know shit about steak. So sad. Don't be defensive when customers tell you shit sucks, we are not your regulars, we are from the food industry. Just to help improve. Everyone is learning to be better including myself. If covid doesn't shut you down, you're sad service and low quality execution will. Embarrassing and a waste of one of my meals. $160 I could have a ball at McDonald's and be happy af.

Yelp
We had the pasta, omelette, steak/eggs and the Passerelle breakfast. The food was done as ordered and was very tasty. Our server was attentive and kind.

Yelp
Always excellent food, service, and ambiance. We had the bistro burger, which was exceptional and the Mussels which was also very well prepared. This is our favorite to go place In the neighborhood! Have never had a bad meal here and it's also a to go place to bring guests.
