Lovely little place right along the main strip. Be aware, it's on-street parking and only about 6 or 7 spots. But this is a small little bakery/cafe. I had the mushroom/blue cheese quiche. It was one of the best quiches I'd have in a few years! So smooth, almost creamy texture, and the blue cheese was tangy without overwhelming the dish. Just the right size for one person. I'd absolutely come here again and try other stuff.

Google
This is an absolutely darling little coffee shop. They have pastries and baked goods that are handmade. The coffee is amazing!! I love having the Mexican Mocha Latte Iced. It is wonderful. The cafe has WiFi and super cool vibe. It is an impressive little spot for such a tiny town. I am from Albuquerque and it rivals any cafe that is there. Don’t miss this cafe if you come to T or C!

Google
Such a cute little cafe! The decor is adorable, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. We had the Fat Elvis Waffle and the Nutella Banana Crepe and they were amazing. My only complaint was that the chocolate milk didn't taste chocolatey *at all*. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next time we come to town!

Google
I came to the Hoosier hot springs and they highly recommended passion pie cafe for breakfast. I loved loved their breakfast croissant (so soft), their sweet crepe and got lots of pastries. So many good options for coffee and all came out fresh and delicious! Roberto was so friendly and made recommendations for what do do around the town. I 100% will be back and recommend to my family and friends!

Google
Friendly staff, my husband said his food was great. I tried something different and it was good but I would rather have slices of bacon instead of the bacon cooked in the waffle. That's just me though because the waffle was fresh and crisp which I loved! The down side is they have shirts hanging for sell which I wanted but we asked the gentleman who took our order how much the shirts were and he said they only had like 4 in the back and they haven't ordered any in awhile but they were $25 or $30 is what I believe he said they cost.

Google
Possibly the best savory crepe I have had. Mexican Mocha was good, but had a lot more sugar than I expected.

Google
We really liked this place! This was the best place we ate in town! They had a wide variety of offerings. The menu was a little confusing and the prices of the crepes was a little steep. But the quiche was phenomenal, the crust was perfectly flakey and the little bit of lemon was so bright and fresh. The breakfast waffle was super tasty as well. The eggs were perfectly cooked. Cute New Mexico vibe cafe. Don't miss!

Google
This was such a great spot to check out. Coffee was amazing, baked goods top notch, breakfast was amazing. Tiny intimate location with friendly service and smiles. Really enjoyed the visit here. All 10/10. French Coconut pie, salted caramel apple pie, Lorraine Quiche, Elvis Crepe, Croissant breakfast sandwich. All hit the spot. It's definitely a must stop.

Yelp
All I am saying is, don't miss out on the Quiche's here. DO NOT MISS OUT. Passion Pie was the only coffee spot we visiting during my stay in Truth or Consequences when I stayed a few nights at Riverbend Hot Springs. It was close by and open. So they got our vote. We only had coffee and the croissant breakfast sammies on the first day. Coffee was good, hit the spot. The complimentary coffee at Riverbend wasn't strong enough for us. The croissant breakfast sammich is big, we prolly coulda shared one. Not to say that they didn't get finished! Ha! The second day, we came earlier. So, I was able to order the sausage roll, which they were out of the day before. Um, and I also ordered the bacon stuffed waffles, jalapeno, ham and cheddar quiche and a caramelized onions and goat cheese quiche. (Don't go to places hungry.) Our coffees too, of course. The plan was, to eat the bacon stuffed waffles and the sausage roll and save the quiches to take home. But, the quiches were warm and ready for action. So I couldn't leave them untouched! The stuffed waffles came with two eggs and a side of syrup. Totes shareable portion, which we did. We also shared the sausage roll, which, was not just sausage! Yes, it did have a large sausage in it. It also had a piece of crunchy bacon next to it with a strip of cream cheese and jalapeno too. I thought it was going to be more like a snack, but it was a meal in itself. The quiches though...they were such a delight. The egg was so buttery soft and flavorful. The onion and goat cheese was my favorite. I managed to stop eating it, firstly, because I was quite full from the waffle and sausage roll, but secondly, because I thought about how I wanted to eat it later or the next morning. Save this for later! If you are in T or C, come get you some!

Yelp
We had such a wonderful breakfast here! The quiche was delightful and the granola was a spectacular. We will be back the next time we visit TorC.
google avatar

Denise G.

Yelp
What a spectacular little gem in T or C!!! The bacon waffle with any style egg (except no poached), hit the spot! Open Thursday- Sunday from 7 am until 1 pm, gets the tourists that are visiting and those like us, leaving, to get a good breakfast under our belt!!! Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
Fun and colorful place. Lots of great food options. Crepes can be gluten free for $1! So cool! Have savory and sweet crepes, breakfast sandwiches, quiches, and waffles. They make their own cold brew and it was nice and smooth. Lots of fun coffee options too. Make all their own bakery items. They have some really cool flavors of tarts. Like red Chile cherry. Who knew? The service was great. Very friendly. Willing to answer questions and when I asked for a coffee to go when we left they made sure it was ready for me.
google avatar

Wendy T.

Yelp
Good cappachino, good Chai. Ordered pastries to go since they close at 1 pm. SO many pastry choices! Shared the tuna melt on croissant (fresh and bright) and passionate pear waffle (sweet but not gooey). Loved the small container of pickled veggies! Constant and happy line of customers with the guy at the front ready to knowledgably take orders and make suggestions.

Yelp
Gem of a find during my road trip through Truth or Consequence, NM. Cozy and colorful vibe! The pastries and quiche are made in house yummy! Friendly service...inviting space.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
I was nearing the end of a 9,500 mile road trip and I wanted something before the last stretch of my trip home. Passion Pie is my go to place in T&C. I ordered the spanakopita and salad plate and, surprise, a mango lassi. A lassi is the last thing I would expect in this town but here it was. More smoothie than lassi, it was very good. The other items tasted so fresh. Honestly, I'm not sure where I'd turn for food if Passion Pie were to disappear. It's an oasis in this town.

Yelp
Lovely little cafe in downtown T or C. They always have a variety of quiches and they are delicious every time, as are their breakfast sandwiches. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I only wish they stayed open later!

Yelp
A fabulous find, in this otherwise non eventful quiet desert town. In fact, the only place open at 1000 on a Sunday. It was super busy & no wonder.. it has an awesome selection of pastries quiches, cookies, scones, sandwiches.. all made in house by this family owned restaurant. I had the Breakfast Croissant made to order & it was so delicious. They have some high top tables and ledges by the window if you want to eat in but the majority of the customers chose take away. The coffee is really really good and they have some interesting flavors if that's your thing. If you are passing this interesting town called Truth or Consequences Do not pass up on this establishment
google avatar

Bridget R.

Yelp
Super upset they didn't have the pastry sandwich I was dying to try when we arrived there, but it wasn't in season. But overall everything was so fresh & delicious. It's a good little spot with limited hours but for the 45mins we were there it was nonstop. The pecan pie was absolutely amazing! My sister got the waffles & my cousin got a hot sandwich. All 3 were devoured. Definitely recommend this spot.
google avatar

Doug S.

Yelp
The most memorable breakfast from our visit was at Passion Pie. We had the breakfast croissant with bacon and green chile (forgot to take a picture because we scarfed it down) and the quiche. Both were delicious. Dirty chai and London fog were also super tasty. Great vibe and friendly staff. Can't wait to go back!

Alexa C.

Yelp
The food tasted amazing! Loved the decor! The service was great! Will definitely come back! And recommend

Yelp
Great coffees and awesome breakfast treats. I had the breakfast croissant, it was very tasty. Sat outside on the sidewalk table and enjoyed the sunshine.

Faith

Yelp
Great always. Organic Coffee, Options for most tastes, gluten free, plenty of creative sweets. Just come, you will see!!
google avatar

Harry W.

Yelp
Cute little shop with a great atmosphere. Sometimes the food is a bit too greasey but the recipes are great. Definitely worth a shot.
google avatar

Cat G.

Yelp
The best quiche you will EVER eat. Also an amazing selection of crepes. Fabulous coffee as well. Don't miss it
google avatar

Rob A.

Yelp
Limited hours, be sure to check. But- a delcious crepe. It was hard to pick, they all looked great. Will def. be back.

Martha E.

Yelp
Some of the best scones we've ever had, and we have had a lot over the decades. These were coconut! Unusual!

Sarah M.

Yelp
Cutest place! Great coffee. Fun environment. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth stopping in!!!
google avatar

Yelp
A great Oasis in T or C. They have a nice selection of breakfast baked goods, homemade pies and delicious quiche. I had a New Mexican Cherry / Red Chile small pie. It was supper good. Going back tomorrow for quiche.
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Passion Pie is always on my list of restaurants to visit when I'm in T or C. Their quiches are consistently delicious and the staff is easy to engage with and knowledgeable about the area. The café has several small tables and (as of very recently) has wifi in case you want breakfast, coffee, and a place with internet.
google avatar

Dana T.

Yelp
Asked the guy at the counter for two ham 'n cheese croissants yesterday. You can see the item listed on the attached photo. They gave me two EGG ham 'n cheese croissants. My GF and I almost threw up. Yuk. How do you mess a breakfast croissant order up? Apparently, they found a way.

Yelp
Thank goodness we found this cute place for coffee and breakfast. In this small town called Truth or Consequences, pickings are slim. This place only had takeout from a small plexiglass window. But you could tell their baked goods were made with love. Very interesting types too. We chatted with another couple waiting for their order and admired the vintage theater across the street This town is so small you barely need to look both ways before crossing the main deserted street. I had the quiche which was delicious and high quality ingredients. Coffee was smooth.

Erica A.

Yelp
A must try when in T or C. Fresh quiche in many varieties - had the asparagus and Gouda- oh so tasty! Fresh baked cherry pie is to die for

Robertas H.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast items all homemade. I tried the waffles with whip cream and fruit (fresh). Yummy. Too bad they aren't open more days!
google avatar

Frank W.

Yelp
Absolutely the best Italian Cream Soda I've had since I was in Italy. Plus they have all these flavors you can add to everything. The food ain't bad either!

Wil K.

Yelp
So delicious and unique selections too. It's very small so you may have to wait for a table but worth it!

James H.

Yelp
Fresh baked goodness. We heartily vouch for the breakfast croissant, the quiche and the scones. And the young man (12 yo??) on the register was quite good at his job! This is a keeper.

Grif N.

Yelp
This place is the bomb. I had two meals there this weekend, both were excellent. Great service, obviously appreciated by locals as well as tourists like myself.
google avatar

Yelp
We looked up on yelp for a place to have brunch and passion pie came up with solid reviews. It did not disappoint. I had their popular egg and bacon croissant which was awesome! My friend got the broccoli quiche (they had already ran out of their most popular flavors), she liked it, I tried it but it wasn't my thing. Another friend got the waffles with fruit which was also good. The coffee was great too. They bake all sort of things like pies and other bites, they looked great though we didn't get to try them.

Amy H.

Yelp
Everything we could have hoped for, for a quaint and delicious breakfast. Gluten free crepes, generous filling, and wonderful execution. Yummy latte options. Friendly folks running the place. Yes! We'll be back!
google avatar

Lisa C.

Yelp
This little walk up coffee shop is the best! Bear claw, amazing. Lemon poppy seed muffin is still warm from the oven. T or C does not have a lot to offer this time of the year, but if you find yourself here check out Passion Pie Café
google avatar

Zeb M.

Yelp
I just had the best Coconut Pineapple Cheese danish on Earth. Seriously, best pastry I have had in a very long time.
google avatar

Jim H.

Yelp
The Pie as locals fondly call it has been through a couple of rough years with pandemic and a crushing death but it's still here , still the breakfast for 70 miles in every direction. Please try this place. Even if it involves pulling of the freeway. It's a diamond in the desert.
google avatar

Heather V.

Yelp
Good place. Not a lot of room to sit but a table opened up when we needed one. Nice staff. Laughing and singing. We ordered the Fat Elvis Waffle, a London Fog and a Dirty Chai. All was good. I wish I'd had some protein with the waffle. Check out the place. The pastries looked amazing and the coffee was great!
google avatar

Susette R.

Yelp
Best spinach feta quiche ever! Portions are perfect and everything scratch made. This place is simply the best!

Scarlett S.

Yelp
I must say that this place DELIVERS!!! The atmosphere is warm, delightful, AND welcoming. The food is accurately priced due to the top notch quality- absolutely delicious. It is a place where their image and their reality is in sync. They keep advertised hours (a rarity in this town) and create a space of casual elegance.
google avatar

Dennis D.

Yelp
Ordered a veggie quiche. The crust was sooo flaky. Need I say more? No one out on the streets except for the line here.

Melissa R.

Yelp
Love this place. Great service and nice staff. When the have it the fruit bowl is awesome.
google avatar

Christina E.

Yelp
Good breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff. Kinda annoying they use Covid in summer 2022 as to why you can't go inside.....sat in hot sun 90 degrees + and drank hot coffee and ate. Got sunburned too...Maybe put up a sun shade??
google avatar

SimranRaj M.

Yelp
You absolutely MUST COME HERE!!! Best local biz by far - just make it in by 3pm and stock up on to-go deliciousness. Be a little patient with drinks and warmed up pastries - takes a while if there's a line. But hey, where ya gotta be anyway if you're this far out? ;) Heads up: breakfast tacos come on HARD SHELLS standard and the Lassi drinks are just blended yogurt with ice served in a big cup, perfect for brain freeze. I bet that version is custom created for the local summers, which climb into 100's easily. Spanikopita plate takes about 20 mins to create, so we skipped that and went straight into Borikas pastries (savory! yum!) and those huge banana muffins. No regrets. If you're gluten sensitive, there are a couple of WFGF options - I highly recommend the coconut macaroons - pure deliciousness!! There's also a tiny flourless chocolate cupcake - didn't try it this time, but I'm sure dreaming about it already

Yelp
The people are warm and friendly, and the croissant sandwiches are delicious. The waffle wasn't as good to us as described in other reviews, but possibly because it was takeout. They are offering great service during the pandemic. It's the best food in T or C; would maybe rate it less in other places but given the options, it really stands out! Also, we would love to try more of their pastries before giving a full review.
google avatar

Barbara S.

Yelp
This place had exceptional food and is within walking distance of most of the spas downtown. The dining room wasn't open when we went but we could order at the window. I think we tried most everything on the menu and it was all fantastic. So good in fact, there was always a line to order every time we went! The breakfast croissant with green chilies is now my hands down favorite food on the planet... And that's not a hyperbole. Is give this place 10 stars if I could. Yum.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
The food is amazing. And the greeter, Lani (?sp) , sister of the owner is wonderful. She's friendly, a great listener and has good business acumen. What seems like bad business to me, is, I shared that I was unhappy with my decaf latte on last visit, as it tasted mostly like milk instead of coffee. And when I went back to inform them, the owner did not compensate for their error. Scarcity begets scarcity ( losing customers.) I did however, receive a sample of amazing chocolate mouse, to sooth my sadness. Not sure if I will visit again.
google avatar

Audrey H.

Yelp
If you are in ToC you have to stop here. If you are driving on I25 and need some good coffee, you have to stop here. I love their hummus plate! Today we had a piece of mixed vegetable quiche, fruit yogurt granola bowl, an almond scone and two lattes... all were great!

Athena M.

Yelp
Exquisite tasting pastries and food. You won't be disappointed. Highly recommend it here.

Yelp
There are several little coffee shops to choose from in this town, so I chose this one to stop by before my trip to the hot springs. Unfortunately, I receive all energy whether positive or negative, so it's important for me, that staff are friendly. Upon entrance, this place has a cute, easygoing vibe. It is small and not many customers when I visited around 10:00 am. I think they may have just opened because the cashier was still writing the specials on the board, which I actually did not mind. Now keep in mind that this was my first visit, so I'm overwhelmed with options. I asked many questions about the menu and it seemed as if I was bothering the cashier. So finally, I settled on the Passion fruit green tea and Quiche Lorraine. Rightly so, it took about 10 minutes to prepare the quiche, so when it was ready the cook calls my name. I go get it, but no tea? So I take it to the table and ask the cashier about the tea. She replied, "Oh yeah, I forgot. I don't know what I was doing." (Probably too busy exerting negative energy into that sad greeting and stank attitude) Again, mind you, I COULD have been sipping my tea for at least 8 of those 10 minutes I was waiting. Pros: The Quiche was delicious, cute space, reasonable prices. Cons: Bad service, tea was not the greatest, and did I mention bad service? While I will be returning to that town for the hot springs, I will not be returning to Passion Pie Café, nor would I recommend it.

Yelp
I will start with the food, delicious. Atmosphere is charming, location is also great. The reason for my three stars is the following: Here is this charming, progressive diner with fresh beautifully presented food. It is served with plastic utensils, single use plastic, styrofoam cups, straws, need I go on? It is only a few months from the year 2020 and anyone who is being mindful about our environment is aware of the damage done by these products. It is not even about recycling, we are past that. It is about using biodegradable disposable items. I know they are more costly but if you added another 30 cents to each meal, it would cover the cost. It would also show your cute town how you are the leader in this change. Be the change you want to see. Please.
