Passions of Paradise - Great Barrier Reef Tours Cairns

My husband and I are locals went out with Passions for a second time in 9 months and had THE BEST day at Milne reef. We visited Club 10 and 3 sisters and it was spectacular. The crew were outstanding. Cameron enjoyed dive with Roberto and my guide was super informative about reef species. We got a locals discount and want this local business to thrive. Highly recommended.

Offers FANTASTIC tours of the Reef for anyone wanting to explore: doesn’t matter swimming ability or experience. Decent sized boat (with shade and sun options) and tour took us to two different spots with ample snorkeling time at each. Plus the lunch served was really top-notch. Left in the AM and was back in Cairns by early dinner time. We also signed up for the Eco-Tour add-on and was treated to a fabulous time with marine biologist Ben. He was super knowledgeable, friendly and answered any and all questions. He really helped make the trip extra memorable. Cant recommend this tour enough-there are many options out of Cairns but this is the perfect choice!!

Absolutely loved our experience with Passions of Paradise! We added the beginners scuba diving into our package, and the crew members were very informative and made sure everyone one good to go and comfortable before proceeding on. From the check-in counter to the crew on the boat, everyone was very kind and provided the best service! In the water, we had 2 opportunities to snorkel in 2 different sets of reefs. They had the crew on the boat and in the water to ensure the safety of the guests. At the end of the cruise, while heading back to Cairns, they held a very informative marine and ocean presentation which was great information! Not only this was a great cruise, but they are also the last few remaining business that is family owned! Which is something I value when choosing an experience.

As a tour operator ourselves, we are always extra vigilant for literally everything. Passions of Paradise offered the best experience we have seen so far, especially in Australia. We did a snorkel tour in Airlie Beach as well, and the organization was terrible. Passion of Paradise had such an amazingly relaxed vibe. The boat is really comfortable. Every single person of the staff enjoyed working there with a smile, and they have spent so much attention to every single group on the boat. The safety briefing was cool, informative and funny. The marine briefing on the way back was such a great way to make people aware of the health situation of reefs. The equipment is very professional including the wetsuits. The food is super delicious made by a chef onboard. People, don't hesitate. This is the best tour you can take in Cairns!

We had an incredible day with Passion of Paradise! Scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef was a once-in-a-lifetime experience—absolutely breathtaking. I unfortunately got motion sick during the trip, but the crew were so attentive and caring, making sure I felt comfortable and safe. The buffet lunch was delicious, with plenty of fresh salads and great variety. The whole experience felt well-organized, friendly, and personal. From start to finish, we felt looked after and impressed. Highly recommend Passion of Paradise for anyone wanting an unforgettable reef adventure—you’ll be in the best hands!

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. From the door to door bus service from our apartment in Palm Cove to the stunning and quiet reef experience, it was all wonderful. Thanks to the fun and attentive crew, who ran the tightest of ships with safety clearly paramount, we felt in very capable hands. Thanks especially to Skipper Rafa and to Marco for answering our son’s 5000 questions about the boat! What a brilliant day out.

The Passions of Paradise tour is an amazing way to experience the Great Barrier Reef and one of the few locally owned reef tours still operating, which makes it even more special! The crew were friendly, fun, and clearly passionate about what they do. The boat ride to the reef takes about 2 hours each way, but it’s super comfortable with options to relax in the sun or sit inside in the shade. The provided lunch was delicious, with excellent vegetarian options. And of course, the reef itself was absolutely breathtaking. I chose to only snorkel and was so amazed by all that I saw. An unforgettable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Could not fault the experience we had. Full day experience, beautiful food (plenty of it), and great service all round. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great time and checking on people always. Would highly recommend going to the Great Barrier Reef with the Passions team!
