The server was very patient and honest! Plus he knows very well the menu I didn’t listen to when he advise me about not order the lasagna and big mistake ! But in general for be a vacation destination it’s decent food I will try other Italian restaurant in town to give another chance! I will not come back and neither recommend it but other customers may like it

Google
Very good overall. Servers were nice. Food is solid. Seating outside in April weather is super comfortable. 1) I like the Veggie Salad. Great ingredients. 2) The eggplant? 4 star. Solidly fried eggplant on red sauce and a side of pasta. A little hard on the noodles. 3) The special Monday pasta? Pretty good. 4 star. Garlic bread? 4 star. The tiramisu? 4 star. The breading was a little hard. Coffee flavor? Solid but could be boosted (compare this to Maggiano’s chain version, which is the greatest tiramisu at a comparable price). Overall good experience with good food.

Google
A change restaurant that still serves up quality food quickly. Plenty of seating with an outdoor patio that is shaded. Decided to go with the mac and chess adding chicken to it. I was not able to finish the portion eve n after spending all morning hiking to various arches.

Came here because we heard their gluten-free pasta was good. And it is! The gluten-free pizza is also on point. I wouldn’t recommend the Alfredo sauce (fairly bland, even with more table Parmesan and salt). Also, the service dropped off with the business… when it was busiest, the attention was regular but as it thinned out, attention became less frequent. Also, they started cleaning the windows while we still eating, and the smell of windex adds nothing to the food. Also note: the vegetarian and gluten-free options are on the same menu, with little differentiation between them ; fortunately the waiter was on the ball and made sure we got the gluten-free options.

Google
Pizza was fantastic. Service as bad as it gets. She ignored me when I ask her for something. She went and talked to friends. Had to ask twice. I usually tip 20 to 50% but she got nothing. Would easily go back for the food n a different server. Young girl with no training on how to treat customer.

Google
Lunch here today was great! The host and our waiter were very helpful, brought the food out quick and offered great suggestions. We got the Stuffed Chicken Genovese and the Jays Jumbo Shells. Both delicious! Definitely loved the side of bread to dip in too. We got the lemon berry cake as well and while it WAS delish, I usually like a sharper, higher concentrated lemon berry flavor. This was more soft and creamy flavor. Still really good. Sat out on the patio because the weather was warm enough!

Google
First time trying this place and anytime I am in Moab it will definitely be a must. I had the Cheese Ravioli with Marinara and it was excellent! You get auch a good sized portion for the price and the waitress was very kind and attentive without being overly so. Highly recommend a stop here for some food!

Google
A must-visit every time we’re in Moab! Pasta Jay’s is one of our all-time favorite spots. We come here every year on vacation, and it never disappoints. The pasta is amazing — I always go for the jumbo shells (highly recommend!). Service is consistently great, and the patio seating in the evening is perfect for people-watching. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a Moab tradition for us. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Pasta Jays is better than some of the big time Italian chains back in Denver. This is the second time my work crew and I come here for the food and service. We arrived on a Monday evening. 5 people, got sat down right away with no reservation. Our waitress was great, thank you so much Carmen. The ambiance of this place is cute and charming. Don't come here if you're gonna complain about the decor. 5 of 5. Go get you some pasta dude!!

Yelp
Pasta Jay's in Moab was a solid choice for dinner. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful. The Hangar option, where you get to pick three items from a list of Italian options, was a great way to try different dishes in one meal. It added a nice touch to the experience, providing a comfortable and unique setting to enjoy the food. Everything from the pasta to the sauces tasted homemade and high-quality. Service was friendly and efficient, and the portion sizes were generous. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal, and I'd definitely return next time I'm in Moab.

Dan E.

Yelp
Pasta - cardboard Sauce - bland Sausage - no flavor Meat sauce - ??? Boring food in a diner environment.

Kathryn T.

Yelp
We stopped in for a pizza after a long day of hiking. I was expecting average pizza.... Anything would have done the job, we were just hungry. Let me tell you, this wasn't average pizza. We ordered the Jays Roman Orgy, and it was perfect. Everything was so fresh. Large slices of green bell pepper, thick piece of sausage, and a crispy (but not too crispy) crust. The service was also super fast! Would definitely recommend!

Cameron T.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Service was really good. Table was smaller for the 4 of us. Sangria was yummy. Inside Has that Italian feel. Definitely a must go to place.

Chelsea W.

Yelp
Cute Italian restaurant, great family feel. Stopped in on a Wednesday night which was the lasagna special. Each night has a designated special. I had the lasagna , my husband had manicotti. Both had same marinara sauce. Very heavy, rich, deep burgundy red sauce. Lasagna was piled high. It had a good flavor and consistency, but didn't really like the way the meat was layered. But all in all, a good solid meal. I had a dinner salad as well, fresh and a lovely slice of beet! Topped it off with a nice Merlot, pleasant meal, had a warm and cozy feel. Service was great. Just under $$$, for two dinners, a salad, a wine and a beer and fantastic garlic bread!

Katie W.

Yelp
This is a fun Italian place in the heart of Moab. It does seem to attract an older crowd, but the service is wonderful. They kept our drinks filled regularly and brought whatever we requested quickly. The food is delicious! The garlic bread is something I crave, and the pesto pizza with pepperoni and sausage is glorious! They have a huge salad as well that is served with your choice of dressing. Their Italian dressing is wonderful!

Destiney S.

Yelp
After a day of visiting Arches NP, pasta was needed for a recharge. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and was offered penne pasta with it. The chicken was really good, loved the sauce! Portion size was excellent. But I did not care for the penne, to me the pasta was undercooked. I should have asked for spaghetti noodles instead. It was a busy Saturday night, server was friendly but seemed distracted. They have patio service as well which would be great for people watching. My friends enjoyed their meals, rigatoni pasta and the big stuffed shells.

Leslie T.

Yelp
I usually tend to avoid Italian restaurants because I am never quite satisfied with what I order. However, this restaurant is an exception to that! Sat outside on the patio, and although it was a hot day, it was comfortable. The waiter was attentive and provided excellent service. I decided to order the Baked Lorenzo, which utilizes a tomato cream sauce. The sauce was so delicious, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous. The garlic bread complimented the meal perfectly, but wasn't the best garlic bread I have had. Overall, very satisfied with my meal and experience here and would definitely be curious to try out some of the other dishes.

Donna K.

Yelp
Food was good but service lacking. Brought us the wrong beer. Generally overpriced in all items , but I guess that's the norm in area.

Dave M.

Yelp
Ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. The food is delicious although I would have preferred it if the ground beef were actually stirred into the marinara sauce rather than a layer of ground beef under the marinara. Cheese and pepperoni bread was very good. The service was so so but only because the waiter brought the refill of water (a carafe) sometime after the meal was served. I'd go again despite that. Nice atmosphere too.

Dana Y.

Yelp
Delicious food! Had the tortellone alfredo with chicken and spinach dip! Both great! Clean, cute atmosphere.

Yelp
First, the place was busy, which is understandable, but we had to wait about twenty minutes before receiving any service. When we tried to order, we were informed that sandwiches were unavailable because the kitchen was too busy--really? That was disappointing. We ended up ordering a half-cheese, half-pepperoni pizza, but unfortunately, it wasn't very good. The sauce, in particular, was lacking in flavor--I honestly think Little Caesars has a better pizza sauce. Additionally, we ordered a Caesar salad for two, which somehow was missing any cheese or had a very minimal amount. For $12, all we got was lettuce and about five croutons--not exactly what we expected for the price. Finally, at some point, the server removed my kids' spaghetti from the table, and when we asked what happened, there was no clear explanation. It felt very unprofessional and frustrating, especially since we were already having issues with the food and service. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I hope the restaurant can improve both its service and food quality.

Yelp
We dined in after our epic adventure. At 4pm the establishment was not busy at all and the location is right in the heart of downtown Moab. Parking is very very limited so do not expect to drive right up and enter. Inside was ok but a bit outdated and looks more like a diner than an Italian restaurant. It was clean and our waiter was decent but nothing spectacular on the service. We ordered the following: Spinach and Artichoke Dip; was ok and nothing to brag about. Brussels Sprouts that were sautéed was very oily but good. Eggplant Parmesan was a bit charred especially the sauce as the serving plate was all black on the rim of the bowl. It was ok however, you can taste and smell the burn parts. This came with garlic bread and every single piece had the burnt odor. Kids Spaghetti with Meatballs was ok. Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce was not all that. Jumbo Shells was ok nothing you would want to come back for again. The sauce was burnt around the rim of the bowl and you can smell as well as taste the burnt parts. Eggplant Milan was decent but then again it would not be something that would be recommended. The garlic bread was horrible as the back side of the mints was just totally charred. I mean I can eat a dinner roll however, this was just not good at all. The establishment is ok and the only way I would go back is if the good was a bit better.

Yelp
My husband and I LOVE pasta Jays! We've been to both locations (Boulder & Moab) and both locations are great. The decor is the same, very traditional Italian themed. I would always recommend doing family style. I love eating small bites of different dishes so whenever my husband and I go we usually do an app, salad, and pizza. Portions can feed up to two people. All the times we've been there, we haven't had an issue with the staff. They're always so accommodating and sincere. The only part that sucks is if you don't have a reservation and have to wait but that's just because their food is so damn good.

Catie R.

Yelp
Great food. Cute place. We loved the Alfredo dish with chicken can't remember the exact name of it.

Angie S.

Yelp
Pasta Jay's is a decent pasta place with lots of options. Went on a Thursday night and it was as pretty busy. Where we were sat it was so small and loud you couldn't hear the other people at your table. On the other side, decently quiet as you headed to the bathroom. One stall was missing a toilet seat, so only one stall for a whole restaurant of women. Just an observation and not a complaint. These things happen. Baked spaghetti could have had more cheese on top but was good. Chicken parm was a little salty but large portion. Side pasta could have had more sauce on top. They offer garlic bread as an appetizer but then we got free garlic bread for the table with our meals. Very tricky and I didn't like that. Wish I would have known and wouldn't have ordered the app. Overall decent meal. Decent, attentive service. If I'm back in Moab, I'd probably go again.

Kelly H.

Yelp
Great food. The sauce was amazing. We arrived later in the evening and the staff was likely ready to go home after a long day of serving tourists. The staff was kind and attentive. You felt like you were walking into an Italian kitchen with red and white checkered table cloths and clean bathroom. Great spot to eat after after hiking or walking around town. Would eat here again.

Cynthia L.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Everything was homemade. The dish I enjoyed the most was the Ceasar Salad, where I could taste the freshness of every ingredient. All of the staff was extremely helpful, polite, and friendly! We highly recommend this restaurant.

Darryl Z.

Yelp
Now this was some great pasta. I had the Pasta Noto with chicken and fettuccine and the wife had the chicken parm with rigatoni. Both were cooked to perfection and had great flavor. Although the place was crowded, we were seated in less than 10 mins. If you go in the late afternoon, try to be seated out of the sun... this was a little bit of a bummer, but as soon as the sunset, it was all good. Definitely a place to try if you like italian food.

John S.

Yelp
Only Italian we could find in Moab. That said, we were pleasantly surprised - food was really good. Service from Nick was spot on - he shakes a mean martini!! Lots of locals with their families on Saturday night, always a good sign in a tourist town. I had the Stuffed Chicken Genovese, she had the Tortellone Bellettini - both were excellent. Ceasar salad to start we good, but not great. No room for dessert - we will definitely be back on the next Moab trip.

Corinne C.

Yelp
The pasta dishes were delicious! We are from NY/Jersey so we have pretty high standards for pasta/pizza and pasta jays didn't miss. The staff were super friendly and tentative. Best pasta in Moab!!!!!!

J P.

Yelp
Small town Italian eateries can be a gamble, but Pasta Jay's is a surefire winner. After a day exploring Canyonlands, this spot was fire! Exceptional service paired with mouthwatering dishes made for a memorable dining experience. The baked spaghetti was piping hot and generously portioned, and the medium margarita pizza was perfect size and crispy AF! Make sure to treat yourself and give this restaurant a try next time you're in Moab.

Yelp
Pasta Jay's was a few steps outside our hotel so we headed over for a dinner after hiking. My expectations were low based on the pictures I saw of the food but I have to say it was a good meal overall. We had to wait 10 minutes for outdoor seating but it was worth it. I started with the dinner salad with the creamy Italian dressing. The salad had romaine, a pepper, a beet slice, garbanzo beans and mozzarella cheese. I had them hold the olives. It was very good. For dinner I ordered the eggplant parmigiana. It was good. The eggplant was not heavily breaded but I was okay with that. My husband tried the Shrimp Giacomo. He enjoyed his meal too. Both meals came with garlic bread. We finished with the lemon berry cake which was good although it seemed like it was recently thawed. The service was helpful, although we had two occasions where the assistants didn't know why they were bringing drinks to our table. One time was a mistake. The second time the waitress wanted us to have refills and asked the assistant to bring them but he didn't seem to understand that. Overall, Pasta Jay's is worth a stop after a day of enjoying the parks.

Kaylee K.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I walked in looking for good pizza and pasta after a day of hiking and an evening for drinking. That's exactly what we found!! Pizza and pasta was delicious and please order the pesto cheese bread when you get there! left very satisfied and drunk with a nice hearty wine pour #longlivepastajays

Adelia S.

Yelp
Best Restaurant in Moab! The food was so delicious. You will not go wrong with anything you order. The food is piping hot and the marinara sauce has so much flavor. The shells were my favorite out of everything! Come enjoy some Pasta after you are done hiking!

Marisa N.

Yelp
Marinara sauce and Pesto sauce were both delicious! The pizza crust is thin and crunchy. This is a very laid back atmosphere with servers bustling around, families laughing, and people chatting. It's a wholesome spot in Moab. My chicken was a little bland with my pasta dish, but other than that, we enjoyed our food and can't wait to try our cheesecake tonight!

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Very good pizza. We got the Jays Roman Orgy. The crust is thin with a great chew, the sauce is very good. All the toppings were good quality.

Tristan T.

Yelp
Let me start by saying we had a nice experience at Pasta Jay's and the food was beyond amazing. We ordered the caprese salad, tortellini Alfredo, with added chicken as well as lobster ravioli. The garlic bread was something else! The problem we encountered several hours after returning to our Airbnb and feeling quite satisfied was that we became ill shortly 4 hours later. I don't just mean upset stomach, I mean full blown sick for hours. We had left the establishment with hopes of returning but now certainly will not.

David R.

Yelp
I didn't really care for pasta Jay 's, it kind of reminded me of a pizza you would get at a gas station. I gave it a five star review because the service was good and they have other things on the menu and who the hell am I to judge this place and give them a bad review far up. I personally wouldn't go back but it wasn't so bad that I don't want you to go and try it so go give it a try and write your own review. Next time I'm in town I'll try a Different Pizza Place, maybe even Pizza Hut because I gotta be honest with you, we tried two different pizza places two different Mexican restaurants and they all sucked. Remember, nobody pizzas hut !!

Heather C.

Yelp
Anything is Pastabowl at Pasta Jay's! I am a big fan of pasta and I love finding a good Italian spot. While exploring Moab for Jeep Safari, it was getting late and I was hoping to stop somewhere for dinner. This place was open later than other places, so I decided to give them a go. Parking is tricky everywhere in Moab, but I am a lucky girl. I was able to park right in front of Pasta Jay's on Main Street. However, be prepared that you may need to find a spot and do a little bit of walking to get there. I was seated immediately, not because they weren't busy, but because this is a massive restaurant. They have all kinds of seating inside and then they also have a covered, sheltered patio for extra seating. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is...interesting. The lighting is quite dim and it is giving Italian picnic vibes. They had a massive menu, but the Hagan option stood out to me the most. It's like a flight for pasta and I love being able to choose a few different things. I opted for the gnocchi, ravioli, and chicken parm. This seemed similar to a tour of Italy, but I especially loved that I was able to choose, rather than it just already coming with three preselected menu items. For starters, they give you some garlic bread. It's pretty mediocre garlic bread in my opinion. It's not horrible and I did like it, but it is nothing outstanding. The Hagan was okay, but I have had much better. The gnocchi was good. It felt a bit heavy but the sauce over the top of the pasta was good. The ravioli was probably my favorite--it tasted great! The chicken was probably my least favorite out of the meal. It was greasy and just not cooked the best. Still, it was nice to be able to try a few different things from the menu, instead of just one thing. The service was pretty slow. I mean, I know they were busy for Jeep Safari, but there was lots of staff everywhere and I only saw my server twice. I sat at my table for 20 minutes after I was done eating, waiting for someone to make it over to my area. Not a big deal but just a small annoyance. Overall, I did like my visit to Pasta Jays. I think there are a few Italian places I prefer over them, but it's Moab so this is one of few options in the area. They bring a cool vibe and have some decent food. I would consider going back next time I am in Moab!

Mary M. C.

Yelp
Nice food, good atmosphere, the wait staff is attentive, but not intrusive. Good place to have dinner, after a day experiencing the wonders of the Moab national parks..

Lauren M.

Yelp
Went for pizza at lunch. We were the first ones there after 12:30pm. Our thin crust pizza was super thin, and difficult for kids to eat without a fork. My husband's pizza did not come out as ordered (basil instead of spinach). My pizza was fine.

Tony T.

Yelp
Ate dinner here for the first time the night before a trail race. Restaurant was packed and they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. 15 minutes later our table for 3 was ready. Staff were super friendly and the food was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.

David W.

Yelp
The pasta is delicious. Huge portions. We split our dish. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He even had an Italian accent. Nice and cozy.

Michael G.

Yelp
The food is always great. Also the service is always amazing. Always stop here went I go though Moab

Ekin T.

Yelp
Very very friendly people working here! Very nice customer service! Seeing smiley faces around is nice! I ate pasta noto and added pesto to it! Wow, it was very delicious! Their pastas are huge!! If you eat lunch here probably you have food for dinner too Highly recommend it!

Rebecca T.

Yelp
This place served delicious food! I wouldn't think there would be good Italian food in this small town of Moab, surrounded by rocks, but I was wrong. We were so hungry that we ordered a lot for just the two of us: minestrone, chicken alfredo, stuffed jumbo shells and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Their minestrone was well seasoned with big chunks of zucchini. The alfredo was quite heavy and greasy, but if you had a full day of adventure, it's OK to eat more carbs haha. The garlic bread was very buttery and savory as well. And don't forget to finish off your meal with their tiramisu! If we were in the area again, we would definitely go back to try other dishes.

Cherie E.

Yelp
Pasta tastes like cardboard, red sauce is very bland, service is fast; get them in, get them out! This is a Tourist Trap! it use to be so good, there is no way the pasta is homemade like the menu states. Very disappointed! Also the beer had to have been 3.2 and red wine tasted like kool-aid. trust me, I am a wine expert, lol!

Mark H.

Yelp
Great place in Moab, inside and outside seating. Lots of pasta options, along with daily specials. Food came out quickly. Marinara sauce quite good.

Steve M.

Yelp
If you are in Moab you've probably been out exploring and burning calories all day, what better time for a carb overload! That's why we chose Pasta Jays for dinner. It was a Friday night but we arrived at 4 hoping to beat the rush. We were seated quickly. We ordered our drinks and an app. They didn't get our app correct, but brought out the correct item pretty quickly! We were disappointed in the service for the rest of the night. No one checked up on us after our food was brought. We would have LOVED to spend more money on a couple of more drinks but no such luck. The food was average but sufficed. I had the Hagen option. You choose 3 different pastas. The problem was they all taste the same. The ambience is fine. It's a big open area great for kids because it's loud. We will try a different Italian place next time.

Tom S.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! I went for the baked spaghetti and meatballs, I chose perfect! Meatballs are huge and very tasty, spaghetti was perfect. Great garlic bread came with it. When in Moab again I will be back!

Marco V.

Yelp
Food was tasty!!! Service was so so, but the food made up for it. Walked in on Valentine's Day after a day of hiking and wasn't disappointed so we were looking a bit ragged but we didn't care. Would we go back again? Yes!

Rena T.

Yelp
After 2 weeks viewing petroglyphs and hoodoo's, we came to Moab looking for a highly rated and inexpensive place to have a nice dinner. Perhaps that is an oxymoron! Luckily we stumbled upon Pasta Jay's on the corner across from the visitor center. We opted to sit indoors where it was much cooler but most people seemed to like the patio which also had fans. My husband ordered the Tuesday eggplant special - stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach - and I ordered the eggplant parmigiana that I enjoyed so much in my youth in New York City. They were both about the same price $17-18 and came with a nice order of garlic bread and a huge dish of pasta. You could choose which type of noodle you wanted in the pasta from what is available but you have to remember to do that because otherwise they will give you one standard type noodle, I forget which one. The portions are quite large. Everyone leaves with a doggie bag ... except for us. The marinara sauce was so amazing that I wiped out every last morsel with the garlic bread. Besides the food being plentiful and superb, the service was equally as good. Luis took great care of us. He was very attentive and engaging. But I noticed at the other tables that the service was equally as good. We were quite impressed. They have a varied alcohol menu but hubbie just ordered the Porter for $6. I will miss Pasta Jay's next time I am up for a delicious and huge stuffing!!!! Maybe it's better that I don't live nearby!

Kelly S.

Yelp
After hiking miles and miles at Devil's Playground and Delicate Arch, we headed for a much-needed meal at Pasta Jay's. It was January and a tad chilly inside, we had to put our jackets back on, but other than that, this place was perfect! Our server was extremely friendly, helpful, and informed. Our meals came quickly and were phenomenally good! My friend had the house made lasagna and it was an extremely large portion that she said was delicious. I had the tremendously tasty house made green chile ravioli and I was amazed at how very good it was, just wonderful. Prior to our main dish, we shared the very large veggie salad which was fresh and scrumptious. Pasta Jay's is absolutely worth a visit while you are in Miab

Esther S.

Yelp
OMG!! This place is amazing. The food is so tasty and delicious. Many choices to choose from. Very authentic Italian flavors. Highly recommend.

Erik K.

Yelp
Attentive staff and delicious food that came out still bubbling. Will definitely stop in again if I'm passing through!

James G.

Yelp
As we walked in, I noticed the portions were big, we decided to share a salad and main entre. They brought out the main entre and when I asked about the salad, the server looked confused. A few minutes later, the waiter came back and said there had been a computer glitch and they were working on the salad. The food wasn't great and I didn't buy the excuse of there being a computer glitch and there were no apologies.

Susan E.

Yelp
We recently had dinner at Pasta Jay's on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is located on a corner in front of the Best Western Canyonlands. We arrived around 6 pm and were seated promptly, outdoors as we requested. It took awhile before drink orders were taken, but once service began everything moved like clockwork. Our waiter, Jethro, was very helpful and personable. We ordered a Caesar salad and a 14" Jay's Roman Orgy Pizza to share. The salad was fresh and good, and the pizza wonderful. The very thin crust was excellent, as was the combination of sauce and toppings. It was more than enough food for the 2 of us, so a couple of pieces went home in a box. The selection of pasta entrees was excellent, and we saw plenty of options for other visits. My only complaint was that the draft beer selection was very limited. All in all, Pasta Jay's was a great dinner choice.
