Amazing pasta. Real Italians and good wine. What else do you need!?!? We had the lemon pasta, oh my god so good! I will never be the same after the lemon pasta.... charming little restaurant upstairs, deli downstairs. Very few tables, so reserve! Not advised for those with mobility issues though, small narrow staircase. Not great with little kids I imagine as well. For couples it darling and romantic, for Italian food enthusiasts its authentic, and for hungry people it's satisfying!

Google
Best place to get something on the go and buy quality Italian products. The staff is the joy of life - a well cherished break from the typical Parisian attitude!

Google
A great place to get amazing prepared food, authentic high quality ingredients, and great drinks. The service was very welcoming/inviting, a lady named Adriana gave incredible suggestions on which prosciutto to buy and what portion. Overall, Pastavino is a great example of a local authentic shop that made me feel welcome. Definitely will be coming back often, would 100% recommend!

Second visit in as many trips to Paris. The antipasti cheese course is not to be missed. Pasta dishes were amazing - best I've had outside of Italy. I'll return with my wife every time we're in Paris!

We stayed in the 6th and stopped by here several times for take away food - absolutely delicious!! And the most wonderful service by Adrerina - she was so kind, patient and helpful as we selected a bunch of different foods. The lasagna was particularly incredible. Thank you!

Yelp
This is a very very and again very tiny place, but the food is very very big in quality and taste. There are many selections of takeout on the first level and upstairs. You can sit elbow to elbow and enjoy some really great Italian pasta's, and other Italian delights.

Yelp
Their sandwiches they serve downstairs are affordable and delicious! The jardin du Luxembourg is a 10 minute walk from there, perfect for a grab and go picnic!

Yelp
A very good and very authentic Italian restaurant. This restaurant is very hidden because the downstairs looks like a store that sells pasta noodles and sauces etc but the upstairs is a very quaint little restaurant with only about 8 tables. The menus are written in Italian which added to the authenticity. The service was extremely good, the guy was very helpful with us because my friend speaks French but I speak English so it was nice that he explained everything in both languages. Service was also very attentive and helpful in giving suggestions. We ordered the artichokes with truffle sauce and the shrimp with nuts and raisins as our appetizers. The appetizers were amazing, especially the shrimp dish it was my favourite. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I ordered the beef ragu and I felt like it was missing something. The sauce didn't have as much flavour as I was hoping. The noodles were nice and the beef was cooked well but if anything it had a bit too much oil and I wish another unexpected flavour would have been there. Overall great restaurant and I would happily recommend this to anyone in search of Italian food. You need to make a reservation though if you want to get seated.

Yelp
One of the best nights I had on my most recent trip to Paris. This is a 'hidden' italian restaurant that is above a small shop called Pastavino. I found it on a blog prior to my trip to Paris and was excited to try it. They have about 15 seats in this small restaurant so I definitely suggest that you make reservations. We called the day of and we were able to get one of their last spots for a party of 4 around 10pm. During the summer it's not that big of a deal as that's when the sun goes down anyway. We get there a bit early and since our table wasn't ready the servers (who spoke fantastic english) offered us some wine and even gave us a nice little amuse bouche while we waited. She even explained the menu to us and allowed us to punch in our appetizers so that we didn't have to wait to sit down to order them. I thought that was a thoughtful gesture. When our table is ready, we climb the steps to the cutest little restaurant. It was so cute with a window open to allow the nighttime summer breeze come in with candles throughout. It was such a great ambiance. I uploaded photos, just go look! Appetizers came shortly after we sat down and everything was fresh and delicious. I'm not the greatest and describing food, but everything each of us had was great. I uploaded some photos that we took to give you an idea of what the food is like. The service was outstanding and I hope to come back here again on my next trip!

Yelp
A pretty awesome, hidden restaurant above a deli. Squid ink risotto was different and definitely memorable. I hope to have it again someday. SO's pasta came out very tough. I believe it was slightly undercooked (less than Al Dente), but we didn't have a good way of explaining that with the language barrier. I would recommend this for someone looking for good Italian food in Paris. Reservations are important; very limited seating and very popular. We saw 2 groups turned away while we ate.

Yelp
3 of us went for dinner to this tiny place, in Paris PASTAVINO, recommended by a local friend for its pasta. I wanted the veal and ordered. It came out heavily breaded but hard, barely warm and I couldn't cut it with a sharp knife. Or any knife. After it sat there awhile and the girls had a nice pasta dish, we called the girl over to tell her of this unfortunate situation. The Italian guy who took our order came over and told my friend in French that everyone else liked it(!) and we didn't know what we're saying. The girl who was very nice offered after dinner drinks but to my surprise when the check came 26 Euros appeared for this inedible piece of cement disguised as veal. If you serve something to one in a party that they can't eat, in my experience, you offer to replace at no charge and take off the offending neal from the bill. In such a case I have had entire meals comped. The waiter was completely out of line and should be ashamed of his poor treatment of us. I could have pitched that veal thru the window, it was that bad.

Yelp
my first visit to this place was 4 years ago when i walked in and looked at the counter and got a lasagna which they heated in the microwave and served me in a to go container and guess what? it was absolutely delicious! then i tried the sandwich on another occasion and it was inedible, when i informed the staff they told me - oh well done eat it (which was kinda comical but thats french people and their zero customer service) stick to the pastas or lasagna and you are good to go!

Yelp
This hidden gem is through a little sandwich shop, up some stairs towards the where strange ghosts watched me eat before the elegant infinite that is She. Good for sharing plates!

Yelp
My wife and I dined here at the end of our five day stay in Paris. We had an apartment on the same street so it was very convenient. This was the most outstanding meal we had in Paris and we had many good meals. The Italian food is very unique and they use unique creative ingredients imported from Italy. The pastas were cooked perfectly. Wine list was small but with many good options. The service is very friendly and they answered all our questions about the various starters and main dishes. I cannot say enough to recommend Pastavino to everyone. It is a small restaurant so make sure you get a reservation.

Yelp
Came here my first night in paris & this place is way over priced for their food which isn't even that good. On top of it since my visit at pastavino i have ate at other places that are way less expensive PLUS THE FOOD IS WAY BETTER. Both staff at Pastavino are very kind but i will never go back there. The food wasn't all that great or i wouldn't have complained about the prices.

Yelp
This place was right around the corner from where we were staying. I walked by several times and eyed their paninis. Got the speck (prosciutto) with cheese and was not disappointed. They also have wonderful pre-made Italian dishes daily that you can take to go to bake later.

Yelp
Excellent Italian pasta in the heart of Paris. A real gem that not a lot of people know about!! Don't be deceived. The actual restaurant is above the grocery! Quality/Price: 4 stars Though not a steal because it's pricey, still one of the best Italian pastas I've had in Paris. Service: 5 stars Excellent. The waitress went through the menu items one by one to translate Italian to French and English to us. Ambiance: 5 stars Very very cozy. Romantic. Quiet. Just lovely! MUST TRY!

Yelp
Cozy, delicious and boutique Italian restaurant in Paris.

Yelp
We went here on a recommendation from a local. We made reservations and got there 15 minutes early but it was no problem. The restaurant is located upstairs and has around 10 tables. Candles at every table and a few fixtures lit the room. We were presented with a drink and food menu. All was in Italian but our waitress went over EVERY item on the menu with us in English (also in French for the couple next to us). My wife got the fettuccini with ham and I got it with lobster. We both loved our meals. Their wine recommendations were excellent as well. Price was a little high but definitely worth it. Would recommend.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant out of boredom with the traditional French cuisine- it's tucked away in the upstairs of a basic italian goods store. Simple ambience with delicious italian cuisine. We especially loved the prosciutto wrapped asparagus, selection of fresh pastas, view of the beautiful St. Germain neighborhood, and friendly waitstaff. A perfect break from menus filled with foie gras and steak frites.

Yelp
Oh my goodness the pasta was so good. So fresh, so flavorful, exactly as the reviews say. Make sure you book ahead of time, as there are about 14 small tables in the tiny restaurant and they fill up quick. We were able to get a reservation the same day, but glad we had booked. Ask the waiter for recommendations, we were not sad that we ordered the gnocchi that was on special. I think he even rolled his eyes in delight when describing it! The portions are decent size too, so don't overdo it on starters, the star is the pasta, focus on that.

Yelp
Stopped by for a panini and this place is out of this world!! Perhaps the best sandwich I've ever had. A panini, desert and drink was 10.50€. Excellent bargain. I gave my family a taste of my sandwhich and they all left the bistro we were at to order one.

Yelp
A wonderful walk up ten table discovery Italian bistro. Family owns the deli below, brothers have the restaurant above. Christopher and his brother run the place. Not a guy word but enchanting.

Yelp
This is a great little restaurant in the heart of the 6th Ard. We fell in love with the food when we stopped into the deli to get things to take back to our hotel. We later discovered the very small restaurant upstairs from the deli. It only seats about 20 people so make reservations or hope to be lucky like we were. Cozy, friendly, and very good pasta to cap it off. Loved it.
