Pasticceria Irrera 1910

Gelato tastes good in general but it melts so fast so we'd better be hurry. Mine was 2.8e. I tried cookie cream something and pear, it's not too sweet. The staff are really nice and helpful. The store looks cute too.

During our trip to Messina, my daughter and I visited Pasticceria Irrera 1910, and it was a delightful experience. The service was quick and welcoming, and the food was outstanding. We tried a variety of traditional Sicilian pastries and drinks: Cannolo Siciliano: The classic, with a perfectly crispy shell and rich, creamy filling. Brioche: Soft and slightly sweet, perfect with granita. Maritozzo con Fragole: A delightful pastry with cream and strawberries. Iris al Forno: Baked pastry filled with sweet cream, lightly dusted with sugar. Granita al Pistacchio con Panna: Refreshing pistachio granita with whipped cream.Espresso: Strong and well-balanced, complementing the pastries perfectly. A tip: most items can be ordered in small (piccolo) or large (grande) sizes, so you can sample more. Everything was prepared to perfection, making this a must-visit spot in Messina for lovers of Sicilian pastries.

Definitely the best Cannoli I’ve had. Coffee was very good as well

The food and service was amazing! They do not speak strong English, but we're very patient as we both worked out the order. And. It. Was. Worth it! I'll be thinking of this sandwich, cannoli, and cappuccino all the way back home.

Great pastries and really kind staff. Their granita was also really nice. The pastry with the wild strawberry was my favourite 🍓. All really great quality.

Best patisserie ever. This is not a shop, this is THE Patisserie of Messina City and Sicily. Tradition, culture and absolute fine taste live in this place since 1910. Pass by here is an experience that no one should miss. Simone and Cristiana - London

I don't understand how no tourist has yet Yelped Irrera 1910. It's a fairy land of Sicilian desserts and if you find yourself in Messina and don't hunt this place down, you're out of your mind. Pasticceria Irrera is considered by many to make the best cannoli in the world, and I would proudly agree with that. I literally got teary as I took my first bite. Just a word to the wise, though... Eat the treats fairly soon. Everything made from scratch also means no preservatives, so by the next night, not as amazing. But fresh out of the display case? It's a religious experience.
