"Four generations of pastry-makers Since 1890, Pasticceria Tagliafico has been making delicious, traditional Genovese pastries and cakes (including the candied-fruit studded Pandolce). Located across the street from the main Mercato Orientale, this lovely large pastry shop offers plenty of options for take-away shoppers (wrapped cookies, candies, and fresh-baked croissants (brioche, in Genoa ) are some of my favorites)."

Stopped in for a sweet treat and couldn't believe the choice. Everything is sold by weight and I am disappointed I didn't add more to my tray! The lady serving me was so patient as I don't speak Italian and I left smiling and she was also smiling. There was a crowd waiting to order ans after tasting our chocolate and raspberry sweet and lemon pie, I can see why. It's packaged up as a little gift... all for me. These 2 were only €4 Highly recommended.

Excellent pastry shop in the very centre of Genova. Tagliafico is an ancient traditional shop, its produces are excellent, prices are absolutely reasonable, people very kind. Only problem is parking, extremely difficult. But convenient bus stop a few meters away.

Really great service. Food is delicious. It's a big variety of Italian Cornetto along with your cappuccino. We were the only tourists there and the place was busy so it means local people love it. The bill was ridiculously low in some places in Warsaw ( Starbucks) you will pay just for a coffee.

Best croissant I ever ate, and I've eaten hundreds in esteemed French and other high-end bakeries. Luxurious taste, they must use amazing quality butter. Their cornetti with marmelade is also great! Can't wait to return tomorrow. I highly recommend the place :)

130 years of top artisan bakery. The panetone is so loaded with all the best dried fruits, raisins, nuts and even pine nuts. GENOA cake is so soft and tasty.

The cappuccino was ok. The pastry is amazing. Difficult to find a better one. By the way is expensive

Excellent pastry shop, really enjoyed the chocolate tart. Came across a shop staff who kindly referred me to another English speaking staff who was so helpful in explaining the items to a non Italian speaking
