Hôtel Pastis (Saint-Tropez, French Riviera / Provence) 4 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"For a Côte d’Azur hotel with a personal touch it’d be hard to top the Pastis Hotel, a ten-room boutique hotel owned by a pair of designers on the run from London, who’ve outfitted a lovely house facing the seaside with an impressive collection of photos, prints, and original artworks, with a 20th-century Pop focus. Its exterior is that of a classic Provençal house, with no hint of the modernist edge that marks so many St. Tropez boutique hotels." - Tablet Hotels

I have traveled extensively and stayed at many hotels around the world, but my experience at Pastis Hotel Saint-Tropez was by far the worst. What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable stay in beautiful Saint-Tropez turned into a very unpleasant ordeal.||The staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional. From the moment I arrived, I was met not with hospitality but with hostility. Simple requests were treated as inconveniences, and every interaction felt tense and unwelcoming. Instead of creating a warm atmosphere, the team seemed angry, impatient, and uninterested in providing any level of service.||Even worse, the director himself was extremely unpleasant, setting the tone for the entire hotel. His arrogance and bad attitude made it clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority here. Instead of resolving issues, he contributed to them.||For a place that charges luxury rates, this level of treatment is completely unacceptable. There are many wonderful hotels in Saint-Tropez where guests are valued and respected, Pastis Hotel is definitely not one of them. Actually is WORST HOTEL WITH ANGRY director and stuff... YOU SCARED TO ASK FOR EXTRA COFFEE. ||I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Save your time, money, and peace of mind, and choose another property where you will actually feel welcome.

We planned our Saint Tropez trip at very short notice and were very lucky to book a room at Pastis Hotel. We stayed in room 1 - a very nice spacious room with balconies - one overlooking the serene pool area with beautiful palm trees and the others with very close sea view ♥️ The bathroom was spacious and we instantly felt “at home” in the very well sized room- and a very stylish, tastefully designed one at that with great art, also spread across the whole hotel. The comfy bed, pillows are also definitely worth mentioning. Sebastian, the hotel director, was very friendly, helpful and warm (and with a great restaurant recommendation) and Carl, whom we did not meet face to face, was a great help during and after booking, making us instantly feel like friends rather than customers . Overall what was a first encounter (more by coincidence than conscious choice) will turn into our preferred address whenever we come to Saint Tropez. And it’s worth mentioning that as a very well travelled person, this is the first time I have felt the need to write about a hotel. With love from Istanbul…

Worst hotel ever! Pastis Saint Tropez. Rude and angry staff, including the director. Zero hospitality, zero professionalism. Avoid this place at all costs!

This small, family-owned boutique hotel is amazing. The staff truly treats you as family. Our room was spacious and had beautiful view of the water (2 balconies faced the water and another overlooked the pool/courtyard). The service was top notch with good food and very timely responses. They called taxis for us, made/changed dining reservations and gave us good advice and recommendations for our first visit in st tropez. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk from all the action in downtown st tropez which made it easy to get everywhere and escape the madness when we needed to (and avoid traffic!). We can’t wait to go back. Would definitely recommend.

This was a very stylish hotel. I absolutely loved the swimming pool and copper bathtub! What a stylish accent and it was so nice when we were there since it was so chilly. We also were in the room that had the terrace facing the pool and were amazed that it was so quiet. I highly recommend that room. We were also thrilled that it offered free and secure parking.

We had a wonderful stay at Pastis Hotel. All the place is charming and the owners are extremely helpful and kind. You can park in the hotel and forget the car, there is only 10-15 minutes of a nice walk to the pier or the old city. We loved the Pastis Hotel and we hope to come back one day for a longer stay.

Superb place. Excellent service plus private parking, swimming pool, small beach in front, 15 minutes easy walk to the pier or old town and a big confortable room with delicious breakfast. Don't miss Pastis Hotel if you go to St Tropez.

Very well designed place in walking distance to the city center. Lovely pool, nice restaurant, pleasant staff. We would definitely stay there agoin. The best room is the room with the large terrace facing the pool. The only slight drawback is that the hotel is located on the Main Street and. It can be a bit noisy especially during the night.
