We ordered the pastrami sandwich which is supposedly the signature plate of the restaurant, it was super dry, the meat was tasteless, unseasoned, some of the beef slices were even cooked instead of being cured! I wonder if the chef have tried this before offering it to the customers. The burger was tasty, though. The waitress was super nice, however she got us one of the drinks wrong, but probably she misheard it. The vibe of the place is nice.

The food is great, good portion. Some part of the place is nicer, once I was seated next to the door in winter, that was unconfortable and not sure why there is a book there. The service is kind, if the place is crowded it can be slower. Overall experience is good.

As an American I developed a craving for a Reuben Sandwich, similar to what I get in the USA. Two days later I discovered this neighborhood restaurant, the name says it all. The pastrami Sandwich was excellent and while not quite a US Reuben, it did feed that craving. I sat on their covered terrace and enjoyed the double luxury of a beautiful fall day, but protected from the stray breeze. The staff was friendly, efficient and spoke English. English menus were available. The serving size was very adequate and prices were reasonable.

The stuff was friendly and polite, the place is spacious although a bit "cold". We ordered the plates on the photo. Not bad but nothing exceptional. The burger was tasty but the potatoes a real disappointment and made the whole dish to result negative. They were full of salt (something that I saw in past reviews for the same dish;obviously they don't care) and they really reminded me Mcdonald's potatoes. The had menu in English and they spoke English as well ✅️ . The dish with the Hungarian pasta type and the chicken, was OK but again nothing special. My impression is that they really have to try more.

I had a delicious vegan burger yesterday and I even got my mayo and onion jam on the side as requested. The staff is nice and professional, and the ambience is as great as ever.

A piece of New York in the middle of O-Buda. We love this place, even with friends or family. The place is children freindly, however our kids think they should take care of older children not only babies. We like the grill food and the pastrami as well. We would be happy if there would be more diabetic sodas.

We didn't want to go to a traditional Hungarian restaurant the last night of our stay in Budapest, so we picked this 'bistro' and it was a great choice. Pastimi is a hidden gem in Buda and perfect for families: it has a kids' corner with toys, so parents can enjoy their dinner while the kids play. You also need to check out their restrooms: everything is there to take care of kids. It was a very nice surprise. The menu is simple, they try to modernize traditional dishes. They cannot beat my mum's 'lecso', but apart from that I loved everything we ordered. They were also very good in reccommending vine to us. The service was quick, nice and available. The tip is included in the bill: a pinch of America. But the best is the place itself: original retro design with some courageous choices: take a look at the pics. Loved it!

Good options of Italian food. Great services even for foreigners. Nice options for drinking with or without alcohol. The atmosphere there is very comfortable, the roof is high, and you have full vision of the kitchen.
