This is the hidden gem of Palm Beach, if you know, you know. The coffee is great, very smooth and balanced. I get an oat milk latte and a croissant or Panini. I love the sandwiches, it’s simple good food. The staff is nice and it’s clean inside. They use eco-friendly to-go containers as well which I think more restaurants should do on the island. It’s great for a lunch date or we call ahead, pickup and take lunch to the beach.

Google
Great little shop nestled right off a courtyard and the Palm Beach Historic Inn. I had the chicken salad sandwich on soft white bread and was quite happy with it, until I tried my husband's turkey avocado panini. It was flavorful and delicious! Friendly staff and refreshingly cold ice tea made this an easy choice for a late lunch!

Google
Oddly this place serves pastries, sandwiches…and sushi. We had a great sub sandwich and enjoyed eating it out on the beautiful patio area in front of the store. It is so nice to find a place with reasonable prices in Palm Beach.

Google
Great little small hidden sandwich/ coffee/ pastry shop. The owner is friendly and will pretty much make you anything you want if they have the ingredients. All of the on menu sandwiches are great. The bread is nice and soft, better than most places. I like bread. The cookies and cinnamon rolls are amazing.

Google
They have really good sandwiches and AMAZING cookies and desserts. This is my go-to spot when I'm on the island at lunch time. Parking can be a little bit tricky, but it is worth the effort. I've never tried it, but they also have sushi.

Google
been around for a long time and always consistently delicious! One of my PB favorites for breakfast AND lunch. Mike, owns the place with his wife and they have everything yummy from classic sandwiches, soups and salads to SUSHI. I know it sounds weird but the sushi is AWESOME. the best kept secret! If you're not in the mood for sushi- go get an iced coffee & the taco salad (YUM!- you won't be disappointed!

Google
Randomly walked in for breakfast and it was AMAZING! I had an egg and cheese croissant and it was delicious, and tasted like the croissant had just been made. Then we saw they had just had fresh cinnamon rolls out of the oven and the extremely kind owner gave us one to taste. It was incredible. Will definitely go back

Google
The food was amazing. The shop was so cute with a really cute outdoor area to eat and the service was great. There were 4 of us and we all loved everything. 5 plus stars.

Yelp
Decent coffee for Florida. Quick service which was nice. It's in a cute little spot right on county road across from town hall.

Yelp
Sushi is amazing!!! Cute little courtyard to sit and eat. Highly recommend. Iced coffee was also very good!

Yelp
Probably one of the best subs I've had!!! Delicious!! Wow! Hole in the wall sandwich shop, with sushi!! Place was great!

Yelp
Came in for a quick salad.... chose the portobello salad and I really enjoyed it. They have a bit of everything--sushi, subs, salads.... let's of choices! People are friendly and kind. =)

Yelp
Pastry Heaven is definitely an interesting place. The name Pastry Heaven really doesn't accurately describe what goes on here. They have a few pastries (one small case). So I wouldn't really call it "pastry heaven". The best thing they do here is the chocolate croissant. I used to make special trips here to grab them for my grandfather. They also have a small selection of breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and salads... and they also do Sushi. I know... Random right? Sushi. They have a liquor license and can you drink wine or saki with your meal. The space is small but they have a few tables if you choose to sit down and eat here. I believe this is strictly a breakfast and lunch spot- no dinner offered here.

Yelp
Pastry Heaven is one of those spots on the Island that only the locals know of. It's been in business for 20 years and is this small little hole in the wall next to the Palm Beach Town Hall. Its very discreet and low key. I ordered the Taco Salad and my food was amazing and delicious. The most surprising thing about Pastry Heaven though, from eating here multiple times is the Sushi. It's secretly the best sushi restaurants for lunch on the island.

Yelp
They moved 1/2 block north on County Rd. Between Chilean & Australian St. East side. Try the Sushi & Suki soup... not just a pastry shop! Local patrons & tables outside

Yelp
Frequent this place often- one of those family owned places where they remember you and treat you with this genuinely kind familiarity. My friends and I joke that this place should be called sushi heaven, because the soup, salad and sushi are made fresh (and quite quickly :) The name is a little deceitful in that way (totally unintentionally) but this definitely isn't like a bakery or anything. But the food food is enjoyable and the employees are really great. In an area where the food-establishemnt scene is somewhat austere in either being very high end or very casual, this place is super casual, and very convenient.

Yelp
Great desserts . chocolate chip cookie is thick and loaded with large chips.. The food is terrible. Either the kitchen staff doesnt care or the owners dont. Cant tell. Ordered the turkey avocado wrap. Litterally a quarter of an avocado, sour tomatoea and they forgot to mention they fill it up more than 30% of the way with cheddar cheese. Wont be back.

Yelp
My co-workers and I have dubbed this our go-to lunch spot. This family-owned restaurant offers a variety of options- sushi, sandwiches, soups, salads, and of course, pastries. The chocolate chip cookies made fresh out of the oven are delicious. The sushi is super fresh and rolled on the spot. Try the garlic snapper roll! The owners are usually there at lunch time, serving everyone with kindness. Great spot for take-out if you don't have time to enjoy your meal in the beautiful patio area outside.

Yelp
Cute, little cafe that's hidden away across the street from the town hall. Food selection was small, but everything was good. The outdoor courtyard with the fountain made for a peaceful breakfast for everyone.

Yelp
This place is closed for the summer. Signs direct you to a sandwich shop six doors down Owned by the same people. Limited pastry in the morning in June, and only one table for seating. Disappointed that they are planning to move to this alternate location. I hope they can improve it to make it more like the original.

Yelp
So I go to Publics to get a tuna sandwich for lunch at their sandwich counter. And I"m waiting and waiting and waiting....and she's so s-l-o-w making the sandwiches for the people ahead of me so I leave and go over to Champs Elysees Bakery on Sunrise which makes an excellent baguette for their tuna salad. No luck there...they're closed for a mini vacation. I'm 0 for 2. OK, no problem, I'll run over to the Breakers News Stand for a quick lunch. Whoops...the parking lot is all roped off...no parking...no deal. I'm 0 for 3. This is getting ridiculous. Now I remember this little sandwich shop on South County that I have never been to...might as well give it a shot. Long story short, they have the best tuna salad on a baguette that I have ever had in Palm Beach. That's not all. My wife is crazy about coconut cake so I grab a slice to bring home to here. Her verdict...the best in Palm Beach. So there you go. A tiny jewel. Check it out.

Yelp
This is a cute little place to grab breakfast or a lite lunch. There were tables to sit inside. Our sandwiches were prepared fresh. They were delicious.

Yelp
Pastry Heaven is Heaven but far more than just pastries. For one( fasten your seat belts) the Sushi is off the wall amazing. Soups incredible... Sandwiches delish. One of the best carry-outs in PB

Yelp
I still think it;'s a little gem. Would you really rather wait 15 mins. in line at starbucks for a *starbucks* espresso drink? Charming little cafes just don't exist on the island. Let alone ones with cute outdoor seating and fresh bakery.

Steven K.

Yelp
Definitely not heaven... purgatory maybe. As Jeff N notes below, the weak coffee is less than good.... Green Mt, no dark roast, etc. And the fresh out of the oven almond croissants are not worth the calories. However, the adjacent outside courtyard cannot be beat. Patrick Leze is five minutes north and is much, much much better. Small coffee and croissant came to $6.10! Final grace note, I got 90 cents change out of $7 ... I mean the unsmiling counter guy could spring for the dime out of the penny jar, imo. Perhaps the lunch salads are worth the raves below, most of which are from years ago.

PX R.

Yelp
Really, really, good and fresh sandwich with homemade tasteful bread. An absolute recommendation for lunch! Sitting inside is okay but not really inspiring. Whereas outside is quite nice. Not to be recommended in Juli/August though. It's just too hot that time of year.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Pastry/Sushi Heaven is wonderful. Not only are the pastries to die for, the sandwiches and salads are incredibly fresh. The sushi is also wonderful - the simply named "Fish Salad" is my personal favorite. It's also nice to support a local coffee/lunch spot that's super high quality without the Palm Beach price tag. Service is excellent and always friendly. Quick, too, although their offerings would be well worth waiting for.

Yelp
Ehhhh. Pulled over thinking it would be cool to grab a coffee and a roll in palm beach. The place was suspect. Picked over pastries. (It was 8am) and the staff was very very rude. And for what? Giving them business? I could have gone to starbs on worth, flaunted my nice car and had a great overpriced latte. I thanked him for the pastry and he snaps "you're welcome" -yeah THANK YOU FOR GIVING YOU BUSINESS. #buhbye

Yelp
Haven't had the pastries, but here's a pretty decent secret - they do sushi and it's not bad. Considering the sushi options in Palm Beach and the immediate area are pretty limited, this is a solid option, especially for takeout.

Sarah B.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in after a morning walk around Palm Beach. We both had the chocolate croissant, and it was fabulous! This croissant doesn't skimp on the chocolate, has light, flaky, buttery layers, and is well-priced for how delicious it is. Pair it with coffee and you're set. Don't miss this place if you're in need of a pick-me-up.

Carolyn M.

Yelp
Whenever I go to Palm Beach for work, I visit Pastry Heaven. I've never actually had their pastries, though they've thrown in a free cookie or two that I handed over to my client who visits their frequently. Why I am a fan of Pastry Heaven is for their salads and fresh bread. I got a super fresh salad topped generously with avocado and portobello mushrooms. Doesn't get much better than that. Happy Vegan Dining. Carolyn

Yelp
This place is awesome. Hard to find a place to get food on palm beach after 3:30. But pastry heaven is open and welcoming with open arms. Variety of food options ranging from pastries, sandwiches, salads and sushi. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
This is a "down home" pastry heaven indeed. What courteous service and terrific, variety of foods you will discover here. I stopped here most mornings while on vacation in Palm Beach for coffee. One time I left my credit card in the store, and one of the owners ( Mike) ran outside in the rain to return it to me. Be ready to be treated like royalty.

Yelp
i have never actually tried a pastry from here i can only tell you that they make amazing salads! i usually get a dry tuna salad with ginger dressing.... that's the BEST ginger dressing i've ever had!

M K.

Yelp
The name is misleading to me. It's more of a sushi place with a few breakfast sandwiches and some sad looking muffins. It gets one star for a croissant breakfast sandwich. The bald guy behind the counter is incredibly rude. So rude, I would not go back or reccommend this place. Not sure how he is in business. Even with no one in the shop, he's still mad when you order.

Eileen H.

Yelp
Great breakfast croissant sandwiches and very tasty cookies! Another reviewer said the bald guy was rude, I found his "grumpiness" just his personally and not to take it so personal. He actually cracked a joke with us the 2nd time we visited.

Alex A.

Yelp
Awesome little pastry shop with great breakfast food. Definitely the place to go for a quick bite or just sit out and relax.

luis l.

Yelp
this place is incredible...the name is misleading since they have fabulous sushi...the best in palm beach and great baked goods...yes the owner is grumpy but very lovable once you get to know him. they are consistent in their quality and very clean.
