We chose this place spontaneously for lunch based on its excellent Google reviews, and it turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. The restaurant is small and intimate, with a simple yet warm and thoughtfully designed interior. Love! 🫶
We had the clams, caldo verde, and veal ribs—all prepared in traditional Portuguese style with a simple but delicious flavor profile. The owner spoke with us about the menu and offered wine pairing recommendations, which complemented the dishes perfectly.
The open kitchen adds to the experience—it's fascinating to watch, and the staff moves efficiently yet calmly, always attentive to the guests. We felt like in one of the episodes of Chef’s Table.
If you're looking for a truly delicious, authentic, and affordable (compared to other restaurants of this style/size/experience) culinary experience in Porto, away from the crowds, this is the place to go.
