Had an amazing experience at this store, and wanted to give a special thanks to Shelen for selflessly helping me tie flies to use for the area, spending a couple hours providing incredible information and knowledge for fly fishing New Zealand. Thanks to her I was able to go out that same day and catch my first New Zealand trout. If anyone is it all interested in fly fishing from the novice to expert, I couldn't recommend stopping by the store and talking with Shelen enough.

I was served by a lovely young man very polite and super patient with a very difficult foreign customers that blamed the poor staff for the fact that the company charges for extra empty ice cream cups. The staff member used to work in wanaka from memory. I cannot point out his name as the staff does not wear name badges which is a shame. I can o ly highly praise his customer service skills as he continued to serve with a smile and professionalism

Such knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff! Shout out to Alex who goes above and beyond every time and always shares such great tips for outdoor activities in the area 🥰

Yummy selection of ,icecreams,desserts,drinks and more Only thing we were let down was the upstairs dining area. Dirty.....old icecream stains on bench setting,tables not cleared.

The biggest ice cream I have ever seen!!! Cone was covered in fresh dripping chocolate and then covered in sprinkles. Very generous ice cream scoops. This is a must visit for any ice cream fan. The cakes on display are also stunning!!

Inspired to write this review by the truly remarkable service provided by the expert in-house fly fisherman*. I came to the store as an absolute novice. I was hoping at best for someone to advise me on the gear I’d need. What I got instead was so much more. An enthusiastic and cogent breakdown of everything I’d need to start angling: not only the details of every essential tool in the angler’s kit, but also the core skills needed to use them properly.
