very authentic hotel - former palace of the maharaja. Staying there you plunge into the spirit of old India. Monkeys run along the walls, atmospheric dinner by candlelight, large and comfortable rooms. For entertainment you can walk up the mountain to the ruined buildings and the fort. I really enjoyed the experience of staying here.

It was a nice escape. I was initially a bit hesitant about having all my meals from the same kitchen, but the food was so good that I ended up enjoying every single one. The property is well-maintained, ideal for groups and families, and the staff is genuinely humble.

Simply awesome experience. This is one of the best heritage property at a reasonable price. Some of pros of this property are:|1) Situated at a peaceful location within 4 hours drive from Delhi.|2) Surrounding view is good.|3) Spacious rooms and nicely maintained front gardens.|4) Ample open space for evening sitting.|5) Nice swimming pool.|6) Excellent hospitality.|8) Good value for money.|Some cons, on which owner should work:|1) Swimming pool to be maintained in a more cleaner way.|2) Sports facilities should be increased, TT table should be in AC area and shall be maintained in a clean way.|3) If possible create a gym.|Writing historical facts about the palace, pics and place will enhance its value.

The palace is ideal for those who want to spend time in a quiet place. The rooms are very big and neat. It's also good to go if there are 3/4 families together. For kids they don't have anything, so if you are going you should think twice.

Don't book this place for your wedding events, we were here for a wedding. They have 2 big honey bee hives at the property, which attacked all of us as the dj started to play. We asked the property to get them removed, but they denied to do anything and neglect this whole incident.

This is a truly understated property. We went for a family vacation and stayed for 2 nights, we had an absolutely amazing time. Can’t say enough about the hotel staff’s hospitality. Ratan the general manager was super helpful and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and absolutely gorgeous. The food is included in the stay. They have a lot of different options . We will definitely be returning.

A lovely taste of the royal lifestyle in this elegant heritage hotel. A very relaxing place, a with wonderful food and attentive service. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and it’s a great place to just unwind. There is a nice swimming pool and it’s interesting to go on the village walk. It was a bit wet when I was there, but there are also a couple of hikes up the hill to the old ruined palace.

Wonderful place in the lap of the mountains. Perfect place to relax. You can go for small trekking to Badal Mahal. Only 3 hours drive from Delhi. After reaching Patan don't rely on google map call hotel or ask local people for guidance. Nice experience.
