PATAN MUSEUM CAFE

Visited mid May 2025. It's very beautiful, quiet and relaxing scenery. We had delicious light refreshments after a hot day walking around Patan Durbar Square. Seems like popular spots for local wedding photography too.

The feel of sitting inside the museum and having your meal is a completely different feeling. The staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a variety of food from which one can choose. Also the food is very good. One small hitch is that the restaurant closes at 6pm due to technical reasons so dinner is not possible.

I’m thrilled to share that this fantastic café has reopened as of May 2024! I had the pleasure of enjoying the most delicious Momos I’ve ever had here—a pure delight! The flavors were incredible, and the quality was top-notch. The friendly and welcoming staff made the experience even better. Special thanks to Kabir for his excellent service! His attention to detail and warm hospitality truly stood out. If you’re looking for great food and a wonderful atmosphere, this café is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful well curated food Parlour! I absolute did not imagine in the heart of patan museum you would have an exquisite Patan museum cafe with wonderful food and ambience. We were tired and searching for a place for lunch ,but Patan Museum cafe gave us such wonderful food for lunch that we were all ready to discover Patan again. we chose vegetarian food and it was heaven , the veg soup , the veg crispy , the scrumptious sandwich and the PMC special veg appetizer crowned it all. I am sure the non veg is good too….. Don’t miss this place in Patan and in Kathmandu.

Excellent momos and absolutely lovely staff - not to mention a nice place to sit and have some lunch!

Great spot for a nice lunch to scape the dust of Kathmandu.
