The Best Beaches in Turkey

"Patara Beach is one of the longest sandy stretches in Turkey, known for its peaceful spots away from crowded areas. It's also a nesting area for sea turtles, making some sections off-limits."

Don’t expect the water to be clear due to its shallowness, but you can still enjoy lying on the sandy beach, watching and listening to the waves. Alternatively, you can go into the water and have fun with the waves, just be cautious.

We didn't find it so amazing, but still we were glad to have seen it. Entry fee is 15 eur and only 60 try for Turks. The only interesting thing about the beach is that it is really big. The water is really shallow. The beach is not clean (just as all other beaches in Turkey), litter and cigarette butts are pretty much everywhere. I would simply expect more considering the amount of entry fee. There are better and a lot cheaper beaches with better facilities.

It's a must-go place, the sand dunes are amazing. The beach is vast and endless. Take a full day to go there.

This beach is amazing! It’s a very large beach where you can rent an unbrella or lay on your own towel in a calmer area. However, the entry is not free and it’s more expensive for tourists. It was around 15€ per person and it was well worth the money! I highly recommend.

Boundless sandy beach is worth to visit. In autumn there were few people here far away from us so you fill free here. The water is not clear first because of the nearby river and garbage that flows from it. We came to the beach on the camping location from right side of the river. The entrance on the left side is 15€ if you doesn’t have Turkish passport or someone goes through the dunes but we hadn’t a lot of time. More about trips on in my insta- @born_to_lovve

Beautiful long beach with sand dunes. It gets very hot in the summer but you can rent an umbrella for cheap (150 tl the whole day) or bring your umbrellas. Entry to the beach is 15 euros (never have I been to such a hugely expensive beach = how to make tourists not come to turkey anymore). There's a small restaurant on the beach with overpriced food. The beach has showers and toilets.

The 15€ price per person is too expensive for what you actually get. Also the beach sand should be cleaned a little bit because plastic garbage can be found everywhere.

Patara Beach is absolutely beautiful sand beach finally no rocks! Last year the three of us paid 750 liras and this year we took our kids plus my sons girlfriend the total cost was 2,100 liras insanity. Just from reading the reviews, I see that who works the front entrance, they're just ripping off the foreigners. There is no set prices constantly switching. It's like you do not want tourists to come to your country. Who pays this much to come to the beach. The beaches in Canada are free you are just paying for parking! There are beaches here that you do not have to pay the entrance fee for just parking! I recommend you review it.
