"Patara Beach is one of the longest sandy stretches in Turkey, known for its peaceful spots away from crowded areas. It's also a nesting area for sea turtles, making some sections off-limits."
Weather was cold but stunning views
Only a few people there due to off season. No issues in finding a parking spot .

Mashallah this is a great beach. Amazing views, nice walk here from the sand dunes. Empty beach, clear blue water and nice waves. Parking is limited up top but you can manage to somehow find a spot, just keep waiting. The sand is very hot so make sure to not go down to the beach barefoot!! We made this mistake and would not recommend.

This place is beautiful and the sunsets are amazing, however, I recommend explore all the areas in Patara not just the beach. The best option is getting a tour that includes the historical areas and the beach.

We came in December in the evening and there was no one to charge us anything. I don’t know because it’s out of season or because we came late.
The beach is stunning and huge. The water was so warm that we could swim. The sand is soft and shiny. In April and august you can see turtles nesting.
When you enter the beach area you can see Patara ancient ruins behind the fence.
The place is gorgeous but paying €15 is ridiculous. There are no showers or benches.

Beach is nice. Very authentic…But 15 euro per person just for the entrance (!!!) it is a bit too much for a wild beach, where there are no proper conditions like shower, changing rooms etc…Also you have to pay extra for umbrella and sunbeds…A simple rip-off(((

A beautiful long sandy beach, also suitable for kids, we had a great time again ❤️

Don’t expect the water to be clear due to its shallowness, but you can still enjoy lying on the sandy beach, watching and listening to the waves. Alternatively, you can go into the water and have fun with the waves, just be cautious.

Patara is a beautiful beach! There is also an archaeological site that I love visiting. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.
