Patatran Village Hotel

After a frustrating stay in Praslin, the Patatran Hotel gave us a truly wonderful experience. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, spacious, beautiful, and the location is unbeatable. The food is varied and delicious, and the service is professional. What we would especially like to highlight, however, are the hotel’s employees – particularly those working in the bar and restaurant area. They played a huge part in making our stay unforgettable. Professional, attentive, and simply kind-hearted people that we will truly miss. I hope management realizes what incredible staff they have. Our bungalow-style room was also clean and well-kept. The view from the room was breathtaking, and after a tiring stay in Praslin, we finally found the rest and recovery we needed. The hotel also offers rental bicycles. Although they are a bit older, they serve their purpose perfectly for exploring the island. There is also a pool, which is cleaned daily and a pleasure to swim in. Our time at the Patatran Hotel was truly wonderful! With a few necessary investments and renovations in the future, this hotel will remain a fantastic place for memorable holidays.

We received the warmest welcome ever!! Huge thanks to Chef Vijay and Deepak, who went above and beyond to cook authentic Indian delicacies just for us. Their kindness and effort made our stay incredibly special. The hotel’s location is perfect for a peaceful, serene holiday with absolutely breathtaking views.

Patatran is a huge property that offers rooms with an amazing sea view. Further they have a small yet beautiful beach (Anse Patates) for the guests that has some beautiful landscapes perfect for capturing some photos. The place is located next to some beautiful beaches including Anse Banane, where we spent a lot of time taking pics and having the beach to ourselves. One can rent a bike from the hotel directly and they have been super supportive. Huge thanks to the reception staff and the restaurant staff for taking care of all our needs.

Very nice hotel with a beautiful view. You just have to get used to the little companions (cats, dogs, crabs, cockroaches). Pluses: the view, the staff. Minuses: too many children, so relaxing by the pool was sometimes impossible.

This hotel offers a stunning view and a beautiful beach. The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. We had lunch there, and the service was quick while the food was tasty. The beach is amazing, with swimming areas among the rocks. There’s also a large bike parking area just across the street. We didn’t stay overnight, so we can’t comment on the rooms, but it’s a great place to grab a drink, enjoy a meal, and relax by the gorgeous beach.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious, staff is courteous and always looking to help. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the taste and quality of food is also great.

They have a very good beach for snorkeling, breakfast was the best,the rooms were clean and beautiful outside the restaurant and reception. We saw eagle ray,turtle and beautiful fish a nice place to relax also they have a very strong WiFi. I highly recommend this if you want a place with good snorkeling and breakfast.

Note: We did not stay at the hotel but at Villa des Flots which included breakfast at the hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent service. Excellent breakfast buffet with fresh juices, fruits, warm foods, cake and pastries, and an omelette/pancake station. We came back for the Creole buffet one evening which we would absolutely recommend trying, too. If you're lucky, you can get one of the two tables outside in little gazebos overlooking the house beach with huge rocks and palm trees. That alone would have been reason enough to come here for breakfast.
