I had the pleasure of experiencing the candlelight dinner, and it was absolutely incredible. The setup on the beach was stunning, with a beautifully prepared table under a flower arch that created the perfect romantic ambiance. The food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. A special thanks to Jason, who went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable. Despite an unexpected rain shower, he attended to us with such care and attention, ensuring we could still enjoy the best dining experience possible. His dedication truly made the evening extraordinary. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a magical and memorable experience!

its a bit outside the main area but definitely worth it - La Digue is not big at all so you get anywhere with a bicycle in any case. we really enjoyed the rooms, service and location and the hotel beach. beautiful place and well worth to use it as base for the island.

My wife and I had the best experience here. The reservation manager was very helpful and understanding and allowed us to change our reservation date without any fuss. When we arrived, we were given a refreshing welcome. The room was large and comfortable and the views of the ocean and the distant islands on the horizon were stunning - probably the best view from any hotel in Seychelles! Above all, the staff was so friendly, helpful, courteous and kind. We had a late boat departure and they were kind enough to extend our check-out time without us even having to enquire about it. Overall, we had a fantastic time there, and would definitely visit again!

I honestly don't understand the negative reviews. What do some people wonder if you don't have the change and book a cheap hotel like patatran and have a very high expectation? The price performance of the hotel was sensational, the rooms are very old and insects sometimes also exist, but heyyyy we are in nature, that's where it belongs. No idea why some Europeans of wealth complain about it: please stay at home or go on holiday on the moon, you don't need this beautiful island. The service of the hotel was great, the ladies Anuscha and the hotel manager do a wonderful job at the reception, really respond to every request and are IMMMMMMER polite and loving. A big thank you also goes to Bruno. Bruno cares about the bicycles so that we guests are safe and safe on the bike, thank you very much dear Bruno for your always friendly and helpful manner. The food was really super fresh every day and very delicious every day. It's a completely different way of eating from the hotel than we were used to. My wife usually gets a stomach ache from the hotel, but this time they didn't get it because of the delicious food. A big thank you goes to the service staff, who did a great job every day and were always friendly, attentive and helpful, thank you very much. Thank you very much dear Deephak, the dear Deephak provided the most delicious scrambled and fried eggs every morning and he also speaks perfect German, we were both very surprised by it. He is very helpful and puts a smile on everyone's face, thank you. We had a wonderful time in Patatran village and will definitely come back. Thank you for everything, it was a pleasure for us to meet the great people. Many greetings from Praslin, Melanie and Mustafa

Firstly the views from the balcony are amazing and sell the hotel. Rooms are very dated (we stayed in a deluxe room called Bamboo) and in need of a refurb but we did have everything we needed in our room except a chest of draws for out clothing. It provided plenty of wardrobe space but no draws. That being said it would have been nice to have a bottle of water provided after travelling for 20 hours and the steep steps needed to be climbed to get to our room The Towels were very old, off colour and frayed. When walking in the main reception areas it also appears not to have been decorated for many many years, The pool area and communal areas are fair but again dirty sun beds. We have to leave a deposit for the beach towels again very stained, frayed and off colour which I found very embarrassing when using them on the beach. We paid for bed and breakfast and the food was appalling. Egg station when was ok but all the ingredients look liked it had been there for days. Fruit was cut up but dry and looked like it had been there for days. Food in the silver trays appears to be what was left over from the night before and perhaps a few sausages added to cover the breakfast aspect. One evening we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant as a buffet was advertised. When we arrived there was not buffet and we were given the menu for full board visitors and there were only two choices, I did not like either and asked if there was a vegetarian choice and was told no. I asked what other options there were and she then asked if I would like to see the a la carte ( think she was trying to avoid preparing anything that was not on the menu). Again the menu had very little to choice. We opted for the chicken curry - well I really did not think we were given chicken as it was so tough and dry that we could not eat it. We charged the meal to our room and left. We have since been charge £70 for the meal which really was uneatable. We did not bother with breakfast again.|Hired bike through the hotel bike hire, at an expenses, but we enjoyed this and it made getting around the island very pleasurable. Hotel at the far end of the island and not walkable at night as there is no lighting and it get very dark very quickly. If you do decide to walk to the port area I would advise you bring a good torch as riding a bike would not be advisable due to steep drops that cannot be seen.|The Island of La Digue is very beautiful and we would return and stay at one of the better hotels. We chose to eat a a few and the there really was a huge difference. On our final morning we went to reception to settle out bill and my card was declined 4 times! I asked if she could try again as I had used it the night before and there was no problem with credit. Again it was declined. I ended up having to call my bank who had not received any requests. When I explained this the lady tried another card ready and it went straight through. All this took around 30 minutes, was very stressful as we had a booked ferry take us to the Mahe to the airport. She did not apologies once and rolled her eyes. We have since received out mobile phone bill and the calls costs £89!!!! for the two calls to the bank. This was a fault of the hotels machine and not mine.|Overall hotel was a huge disappointment, staff uncaring, unapologetic and hugely overcharged. Would never recommend this hotel. The beach is public and can be used be all so no need to book the hotel because of the beautiful beach and views |The Island is beautiful and well worth a visit but don't stay at this hotel as it will put a spoiler on your holiday.

This hotel offers breathtaking views of the ocean from the rooms and you hear the waves thunder. It made me feel close to the nature of the island. I think the small beach by the hotel doesn't get the credit it deserves. It's really beautiful. The waves can be rough but the conditions varies over the day (and over the year). Anse Severe which is nearby is also a very beautiful and great place to spend time in the water. There you can also find juices and snacks. I recommend bringing swimshoes because there are corals. The pool is beautiful but I didn't end up using it much. The breakfast is great and staff friendly. There is affordable bikerental at the hotel. Although the hotel is quite close to the jetty I definitely would go by taxi (and not walk). One thing to think about is that there are stairs to the beach adjacent to the hotel and to most rooms. This place is a gem.

We received food with lots of bones, that we could not eat. They say it is a la carte, but it is lower quality than take away. We paid a lot of money for nothing. Extremely disappointing, i do not recommend at all!!!

The hotel doesn’t deserve more than 2*. |The only pluses of the hotel are a beautiful small intimate beach right next door and service people who really try to be nice. The hotel should have undergone a major renovation a long time ago. The rooms are old, dirty. There is mold in the room. The water pressure in the shower is a failure. Internet access only in the room. Beach towels are dirty, damaged and stained. Food is not good. Definitely not worth believing the photos from the Internet.
