"Designers Don Carney and John Ross's inspiring lifestyle studio boutique carrying original art and signature collections of home decor, fashion accessories, costume jewellery, scarves and one-of-a kind sterling jewellery. With an appreciation for vintage embroidery, applique and beading, Patch NYC has a unique aesthetic that carries through the other products they carry in their shop such as Fornasetti containers, Christian Lacroix stationary, and ceramics by Klein Reid." - Adam&Co.

"A Modern Take on Vintage Design Walking down the alley to the courtyard of Patch NYC, you'll probably think-Where is she sending me? Trust me, there's gold at the end of the tunnel! In the beautifully designed shop, you'll find the the work of a highly curated group of vendors, vintage flea market finds, as well as the lifestyle collection of the owner/designers. Don Carney and John Ross have collaborated with such high profile clients as Anthropologie, Barneys and most recently Astier de Villatte. Their home decor and fashion accessories includes costume jewelry, original artwork and scarves and special occasion handbags."

Absolute garbage, presented as vintage. What a scum. No. And the owners two clowns.

This store is like walking into a fairytale. Owners and artists Don and John have this incredibly beautiful, unique, and whimsical approach to home goods and gifts. Prices range so you can find something for $30 and $300, which means you’ll find something no matter what. The most important thing to me is that you’re supporting local artists, local business, small manufacturers, and it’s not some chachki you’d find at a chain store. They also have events for their collection launches every now and then, where it’s great to meet other lovers of their work. Don’t miss PATCH NYC.

A favorite neighborhood shop where I always find the best gifts and tend to leave with something for myself as well. If you're looking for the treasures you find when shopping small and local, this is the place. And during the holidays, they have the best ornaments.

Yelp
It used to be a very promising innovative Internet outlet when established. Not so much during last several months. The site apparently is selling mailing addresses to dubious sites that are either reselling them or otherwise misusing them. There is an obvious deterioration in this site presentation, information and topicality. Currently I learn more about current activities in the area from the posts sticked on the street places!! I regret that I ever joined this site and contributed to it more than 20 times, including with may photos. I was "rewarded" for my contributions with a daily avalanche of perverse sex seeking/offering mails, commercial scam offers from dubious sites and numerous unsolicitated calls. Some of those sites even admitted to me that their source of their personal information (including mine) comes from UES Patch!! So live and learn!!

Yelp
I did not buy anything, my GF did, but I really loved this place, you can feel the good vibes inside and the owner very friendly. I am amateur artist, and i loved all the stuff I saw here.

Yelp
My favorite hidden shop in boston! The shop is full of treasures that have been carefully curated from all over the world! The store is always changing up their goods and it is never boring. I never walk out of there empty handed! They also know how to throw amazing parties during the holidays!!

Yelp
What a find!!! A hidden gem in the romantic courtyard behind 46 Waltham st in the South End! The best little gift and table top shop. Really beautifully done and the curated collection of things to entice you is special! Need something different and a bit quirky? This is your spot. Oh and there's a pin I want so if you happen to stop in please feel free to pick it up for me Go find Patch NYC it is a must.

Yelp
Holy amaze-pants. FINALLY after months and months of wanting to check this place out, I made it. Entering the alley and courtyard, I knew I was going to love the store to pieces. It's just gorgeous, and I love the vibe of the surrounding area artist spaces. I was drawn to many things, but most notably, some antique bauble pins, the luscious Soap & Paper Factory candles (omg, seriously, the best smelling things on the planet), and the gorgeous artwork hanging on the walls. The piece I wanted was $1800, and I don't have that kind of dough lying around, but I will keep it on my wishlist! Such a gorgeous, fun space to shop. I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Artful finds from sophisticated and funk-ified tastes make for a very worthy visit. The jewelry is by far the most mesmerizing - they have sculled antique shops all over New England to put together necklaces and bracelets that are full of character. I also love that their owners Don and John produce and create their own original pieces for your to curiously mull over. Their styles are old world New England meets John Wayne saloon meets 1920s speak easy. My favorite piece of their store? "The Patch NYC Inspiration" book -- take a look for yourself to try and figure how their mind's eyes work.

Yelp
Entering this shop is like opening up a trunk in your grandmother's attic - it's full of amazingly clever finds. By far my favorite are the ink drawings set in one-of-a-kind frames done by Don Carney - who happened to be there when I stopped in. I definitely made a fool out of myself upon finding this out., but he still chatted afterwards, so I am not too embarrassed to come back :) Tucked around several corners, the shop layout is unique as the items it's stocked with. Open mostly during weekends.

Yelp
Go through an alley, pass a fountain, follow the twinkle lights and you find a truly neat store that seems to be just waiting for a magical realist novel to be adapted for the screen inside its window-paned doors. The claw-foot candelabra, the scented balms, the framed woodcuts of animals - I'd like to live in a room decorated and scented in this way. My dog liked it too.

Yelp
This has become my favorite place to shop for gifts. There's always something unique and beautiful with a constantly rotating inventory. John and Don, the owners, couldn't be nicer guys either. Check out their beautifully scented candles... especially the whale and the pipe.

Yelp
Thank you yelpers for leading me to this adorable atelier of artistic delights! Though the gentleman who helped me surely had his studio time interrupted he was pleasant and helpful. Nor did he rush me as I pored over the eclectic selection of housewares, jewelry, and art. They even have a range of candles and solid perfumes. (I should have picked up a candle in "stag"-- which is scented of pine with some warm undernotes.) That noted, I only picked up some tiny items as souvenirs, but left feeling bubbly and inspired. I will surely wander my way back next year. Keep creating!

Yelp
I love that you can walk in this store and spend $2.00 or buy a beautiful piece of original art - whatever your budget allows. Unique items not found in other stores and the items made by Don and John are amazing. Beautiful jewelry, artwork and they even have their own candles! My eye can never stop wandering around the store, when you think you've seen everything you discover something new and just as inspiring - a definite destination spot!

Yelp
You have to search hard for this quaint, artsy store, going into a courtyard off Waltham street, but the search is worth it. If you're looking to give a gift that is 110% unique, or even looking for one-of-a-kind wall art with "humor", this is the place to find it. Be prepared to spend time browsing, because everything in the store is so very interesting! And be prepared to treat yourself to something, even an art note card, because it's hard to leave here empty-handed!

Yelp
An extraordinary shop- my favorite spot to purchase gifts. An inspirational space to visit. teh staff and owners could not be more helpful and gracious.
