This was our second time eating at Pate and Pate and once again we had a wonderful time. Exciting menu, lovely staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. Great place for a fun dinner with foodie friends! Great wine list and drink options too.

Google
The place impressed us with its dishes—full of flavor. Excellent wine and a friendly atmosphere. Although I usually don’t enjoy places with tightly packed seating, this one truly deserves praise. And the fact that it’s impossible to find a table without a reservation on a weekend speaks for itself.

We ordered the selection menu with the wine pairing, and loved everything we were served. The starters were a big hit (photos below) - especially the salmon - along with the Danish rum balls! The wine pairing was excellent and really well thought through. The service was warm, friendly and genuine. Despite being busy the ambience was relaxed. Would hugely recommend.

The food tastes really good even though the portions were a bit small (which is intended). I think it’s better to go there as a group and share. It’s more on the pricy side. I loved the surroundings a lot for people watching.

Food lovers!  If you find yourself on Copenhagen (and you should!) get yourself over to the meatpacking district and throw yourself into the arms of Pate Pate. We chose the Pate Experience, nine dishes served over 3 servings. The first serving was tuna cerviche, pate de champagne and a Burrata with pine nuts and rhubarb with bread and oil.  I paired mine with wines chosen by the waiters (for the first course a light fruity white) and my dining partner did the same for soft drinks.  The dance of textures and flavours was a delight and had us salivating for more. Where the first course was an exercise on delicacy the second was a lesson in intensity.  Tri Tip with a potent Ras el Hanout sauce (liquid gold) paired with a peppery red wine, White Asparagus with anchovies (I will be trying this back home), potato salad with egg and capers (interesting cold potatoes!).  I would have been satisfied with this but we were also treated to Arancini in a sweet tomato sauce which I ate after a palate cleanser.  It sang well with the wine but needed it's own show away from the Ras el Hanout. The last three dishes were dessert and time to dive into some velvety luxury.  A glass of Domaine Gulliaman heralded the arrival of baklava and creme brulee.  The Baklava is the best I have ever tasted.  Firm, nutty, well textured and kissed by floral honey rather than drowned in it.  The creme brulee base tones were cut with a hint of citrus and cinnamon both cleansing the palette and staying interesting to the last bite. In summary, dine here and experience.  Love -S

Google
This is a top spot for me! Awesome service from friendly and attentive staff, with a great menu of sharing plates, recommending 2-3 per person. Atmosphere is good and outside you can watch the world go by. Ingredients are fresh and the portion sizes are generous, definitely full with 3 dishes each! Highly recommend!

Google
I had the 9 course "Pate Experience" with paired wines that they did for 1 as it was a quiet Sunday evening. The food was delicious, and very generous portions. Really nice wines too and the waiting staff were great. Recommend.

Google
We ordered the tasting menu. Quite a diverse set of nine selections and we enjoyed all of the items. Waiters were very friendly and patient, and service was fast and attentive despite big Friday night crowds. Only downside was that between the background music and crowd noise it was an effort to chat across the table. We would be happy to eat there again.

Yelp
This place was wonderful! Review is for drinks at the bar only. Really cool location in the meat packing district. Cool, friendly bartenders. BF had some glogg, which he loved. Loved the ambiance, very stylish. We just stayed for a couple of drinks at the bar, but they treated us very well. Will return on next trip to CPH!

Yelp
Excellent small plate meals and friendly fast service! Everything from pate to risotto to shrimp to lamb to carrots to trifle were outstanding. Loved my first Elderflower Spritz too. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Unique location in the meat packing district, lovely cocktail, very friendly and helpful service, and good food. Price was as expected. We were originally drawn to the atmosphere of all the candles inside, but ate outside as the weather was so lovely. Walkable from central station.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service my colleagues and I received at your restaurant during our recent lunch visit. We were served by a waitress who demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of customer service and left us feeling uncomfortable throughout our meal. The waitress was rude from the moment we arrived and seemed uninterested in taking our orders or answering any questions we had about the menu. She appeared to be in a rush and did not take the time to listen to our requests or address any concerns we raised. As a result, my colleagues and I were hesitant to place our orders and we felt uncomfortable throughout the entire meal. It is unacceptable for customers to be treated in this manner, and it reflects poorly on your restaurant's reputation. I would appreciate it if you could take the necessary steps to address this issue and ensure that your staff are properly trained in customer service. I believe that with the right training and support, your staff can provide the high-quality service that your customers expect and deserve. Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. This happened on Friday the 28th of April 2023 at lunch time.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Copenhagen. First of all, it is my favorite style of eating: small plates. You get to try so much delicious food without committing to a single dish. I went with two people and we had the roasted cauliflower with hummus (STAR OF THE NIGHT!!), confit duck leg (ordered around Christmas time!), baked cod with spinach puree and kale, croquettes with pork belly and truffle, crispy pork skin with peanut dip, flatiron steak with lime and chili, foie gross terrine with veal tail (IMMACULATE), and a mini apple pie with caramel and ice cream for dessert. A restaurant I could go to every night and never get bored.

Yelp
The food was the best we've had in Copenhagen. The waitress was friendly, def recommend the fried dishes. A lot of other things look delicious too. Will probably go back if I'm ever in Copenhagen again.

Yelp
A dinner recommendation from the local but it just did not give us the wow factor from other meals we had in Copenhagen. The portion for small dishes were actually quite sizable so while they recommended 2-3 per person, you can certainly get away with just 3-4 dishes between 2 people if you are budget conscious. The choices for dishes to share for 2 were very limited- they ran out of chicken and the pork head has a lengthy wait time so we didn't get to try that. Instead we had 5 small dishes and a side potato and were very full by the end of it. Dishes that we would recommend were 1) grilled turbot, 2) beef tartare, and 3) pan fried pulpo. The cost here is definitely reasonable as it is where the locals would go.

Yelp
Today, we came to Pate Pate for a work lunch around noon time and the waiter was EXTREMELY RUDE with us. She seemed to always be in a hurry and paid the clients very little attention when stating their dietary restrictions. Her attitude was very unfriendly to the point where she blatantly talked back to a client who was simply ordering a coffee. I understand that waiters are often busy, however, the restaurant today was almost empty and there was absolutely no reason for that sort of behavior. Is it quite a shame because the food was quite good but the waiter's attitude completely ruined the experience to the point that we were not feeling comfortable ordering further food anymore. I hope this issue can be addressed to avoid such instances occurring in the future

Yelp
Paté Paté is the place in Kødbyen that you should wait to dine at. When they tell you at the door, "I'm sorry, we don't have opening until 9pm", and it's only 6pm, you don't stick your nose in the air and huff and puff. You go to another bar, wait it out and come back. You will be rewarded. The pate de campagne made with foie gras is studded with pistachio nuts. It's a very generous piece which I had all to myself! Served with peach chutney and coarse mustard, it's a must order especially since this restaurant was a former paté factory. If you long for seafood, the cured salmon from the Faroe Islands with beets and dill is plump and fresh. I would've loved to try their specialty pork dish since the smells of it wafting through the restaurant is quite tempting, but I was already half full from a meal before coming here #smallstomachproblems. Finish off your meal with a delicate panna cotta with red currants and rhum syrup. While the wine list looks varied and interesting, I wanted an El Presidente cocktail. Made with white rum, vermouth, tonic and angostura, it's full flavored even without the classic preparation with grenadine. They have a few zero proof cocktails as well. The place is bustling and everyone seems to have a good time. The convivial atmosphere, great soundtrack and fun staff will make you say, "I'm glad I dined at Paté Paté!"

Yelp
Unique flavors and super trendy restaurant. It was pretty loud...but it didn't take away from the fabulous food or the wonderful service. The waitress was truly attentive and extremely accommodating. Very helpful. She recommended the perfect combo. The pulpo (octopus) was very good. The lemon was all that was needed. The Paté was amazing and I'm addicted to it. I would recommend this to anyone (local or tourist) to give this place a try!!

Yelp
The food was pretty good, but it's a typical Scandinavian restaurant (By that, I mean the food is bland and somewhat expensive for what they offer). It's a great place if that's your type. May be little pricey but it's copenhagen, so maybe not. P.S: I love spicy food, so I don't like most places in Scandinavia.

Yelp
Great example of the diversity of small plate offerings. Splitting soup salad and pate we were satisfied. Wine is mostly from California and we did try a few different glasses keeping us happy but not thrilled by the experience. Atmosphere is cool. We were hoping for more of a compatible food wine par

Yelp
Despite the staff messing up a few orders and not giving us some bread while waiting for the food - it was a delicious food experience. First I had an oyster with some half -spicy dressing - very fresh and delicious! Then I got a plate of chicken (poussin) with asparagus, walnut and a tasty mayo sauce. One of the best chickens I've ever had - a good balance of salt (I think they put some parmesan on top) and sweetness. Then I had the burrata - an Italian cheese resembling mozzarella with some cherry tomatoes - fresh and tasty! The pan fried chicken liver coming up next was tasty as well - however I am not a good judge since liver is nothing I usually eat, but again, the chefs know what they are up to. Together with the food I had a salad with cucumber, pomegranate and feta cheese - fresh and well presented! My friends tried out a few desserts which looked delicious! All in all, I was very satisfied despite the fact they forgot to bring in one of the dishes I ordered and excluded us from the table bread. Did not matter much since I got sufficient food and an excuse to visit this place again (5/5). Chefs vs servers, 1-0.

Yelp
What an absolute gem! We came to the meat packing district on the recommendation of our local tourist guide and boy, did we love it! My favorite was the flat bread but we loved the risotto and the salmon too! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere unpretentious and the wine was so tasty! Our server was a delight, very knowledgeable about all the items, we had a wonderful chat and he actually got me one of the recipes! Thank you for the amazing food!

Yelp
Out with friends on a Saturday night looking for a good restaurant, we passed by Paté Paté and thought it looked very promising. The restaurant has a charming ambiance, and all of the staff are exceedingly friendly, so it's a perfect place to spend an evening with friends We were served by a lovely Australian girl who was very helpful with making recommendations. We each chose three dishes. This was a bit too much food, it has to be said - two would have been enough to eat, but with three we did get to sample more of the brilliant food. I started with turbot accompanied by baba ganoush, crispy spicy sesame nuts and kale, which was a surprising but inspiring combo. My friends had fresh oysters served with a spicy chili honey dressing, which they declared to be the best they had ever tasted - despite not being an oyster fan, I had to order an oyster for myself to try, and I admit that it was delicious! My second course was pumpkin risotto with sage, hazelnuts and browned butter, and it was simply pure comfort food heaven. After having finished our second courses, we had to ask our waitress for a break, as we were to full to continue eating immidiately - this was no problem at all, and we were given ample time to chat and drink wine before being served more food. The third course was definitely worth saving up appetite for - I had spicy chicken livers with oven-baked tomatoes, and they were sublime. When I come back to CPH, I sincerely hope I have the opportunity to come back to Paté Paté!!!

Yelp
Very heavy winter food (7pm, Tues evening in December). We were a group of 5 people and ordered almost everything on the menu. Everything was just OK. The chicken was the best but we didn't try the pig head. All the prices were pretty good. Our server was great - knowledgable and friendly

Yelp
We went to this restaurant for my first lunch in Copenhagen. We ordered small plates as our approach to this meal including a burrata dish, a rösti dish, a pork dish, and a Caesar salad. The burrata was the star of the show, accompanied by familiar Italian flavors including basil, eggplant, and roasted peppers. The other dishes were enjoyable as well. The pork was tender and accompanied by carmelized onions and kale. The rösti had a great horseradish creme fraiche and roe. The Caesar salad was topped with a generous amount of shaved cheese and crunchy croutons. All in all the meal was enjoyable. The waitress was nice and offered suggestions of her favorite attractions in the area, but lost track of us later in the meal and it took awhile to get our bill. This was another good Danish restaurant experience with well-composed and well-thought out dishes.

Yelp
After being recommended by fellow Yelpers, we decided to have dinner at Paté Paté while spending a weekend in Copenhagen. Just a few minutes walking from Rådhusplatsen is Copenhagens own version of New York's meat packing district. Paté Paté lies in a simple and square one story building. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. We discovered that the menu and wine list were far from simple! Their concept is a few smaller dishes and they recommend three per person, which was what I ordered. I started with a potato pancake with sour cream, caviar and chantarelles. Except for the chantarelles it made me think of russian blini, but this was different and equally good - which means REALLY good. The next two courses were pumpkin risotto and pork with pumpkin and a kind of hommemade pesto, all of which were excellent! I wouldn't have minded getting the risotto in a bowl to spoon it up on the same plate as the meat, as it was kind of much to have two large plates to eat from at the same time. The service vas quick, friendly, professional and I got a very good wine recommendation from the waitress. Even if Paté Paté seem to be popular with young people, the dinner audience was mixed from younger to older. I'm somewhere in-between and felt at home. It's definitely worth another visit, but I will have to wait until next time I'm in Copenhagen.

Yelp
Read some reviews here on Yelp and was a bit sceptical about going there due to the remarks about the staff being ignorant. But i was pleasantly surprised, service was good and I got a friendly Swedish waitress who recommended some dishes for me. After ordering it was served very fast including some white bread (which was quite bland). The quality of the food was excellent and the mushroom risotto tasted very nice. This place is known for it's selection of wine, which I didn't try, so I won't comment on that. The beer was good though. ;) Venue was cozy, sturdy wooden tables and a long bar where you can sit and eat as well. Lit candles on the tables and just a great atmosphere. Sound levels were alright, not that much disturbance. Got to pay really fast too (hate waiting for the check). Recommended!

Yelp
Dinner on a Monday night and the place is packed. We didn't make a reservation - just didn't plan ahead enough, but should have. Started with a cocktail - wonderful options for inventive drinks. Then, did small plates. The menu recommends 3 per person and it was a little too much for us (although we ate it all - it was so good!). Nice selections of wine. Fun menu, great service.

Yelp
There are a handful of times in my life where I have had a meal that resembles an intricate symphony- this restaurant gifted me with one of these meals. a light exposition to start: an Oyster (from Ireland with a dollop of chili-vinaigrette and a quick squeeze of lemon). Easily the best oyster I've tasted with an aftertaste that made my tongue sing! the development: creamy cauliflower soup w/ roquefort, croutons & olive oil and a tender pork with a tasty aioli underbelly. Perfectly seasoned and delicious! recapitulation: white chocolate cheesecake topped with sweet raspberries. the perfect crescendo to an amazing meal.

Yelp
WOW! This place is amazing! Food, atmosphere and service were all 5 star! The Hake, Risotto, Sausage, Salmon and Herring are highly recommended! Our server Ana was so knowledgeable and friendly it made us feel so at home and welcome! A MUST WHEN VISITING COPENHAGEN!

Yelp
Please excuse me while I pass out from a food coma. That was my very thought every time I tasted a new meal from Paté Paté. The risotto, the duck, the everything. I loved it and I am so thankful that I brought my three friends here to celebrate after a very happy and succesful reception. This was the perfect way to cross the t's and dot the i's. Paté Paté itself is very dark and it acoustics were not the best - I will have to say that. Besides one of my friends was unfortunate enough to be sitting by one of the doors that had to be open because of... I don't even know... maybe it would be too hot in there if it wasn't open. Whatever the case, you need to deal with that shit, Paté. My friend didn't complain because he is a very polite young man, but I just think you should find another way to handle this. But maybe you have and this was the best solution. I don't know. Just doesn't seem sensible to me. But the girls serving the tables were super friendly. Just the best. Couldn't ask for better service. Couldn't ask for better food either. Well, my foodie friend Johnny said the risotto could use some more salt, but I say "whatever, Johnny, shows how much you know."

Yelp
Pate pate was an amazing dining experience the location is in a cool area that used to be the meat packing area. The area was bustling with a lot of other great looking restaurants. The decor is minimalist but cool and welcoming. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful in choosing wine and food. The food was also great. I had the burrata and charred avocado as a starter and I could have eaten 2 more of each. The flavor was ridiculous. For my main I had the baked chicken which they cook over an hour. This gave a tender and incredibly flavor rich meal. I'd eat here many more times.

Yelp
Paté Paté is a wonderful and trendy spot in the Meat Packing District. I went there for lunch since it was walking distance from my hotel and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There was a nice variety of items on the menu and I could of ordered a bunch of them. I first ordered the Veal Tartare as an appetizer and then the Haddock fish as an entree. Both were super delicious! I definitely recommend Paté Paté if you're looking for a nice, trendy, and fairly priced spot.

Yelp
Part of the trendy meat packing district, great service, small but interesting menu with 2 or 3 course set meal options, I really liked the salted brisket & the flounder is also excellent. The bread served here is really too good , I ate far too much & had no room for Creme Brûlée (what a sin)

V N.

Yelp
Really cool Gastro pub vibe in a row of warehouses in the meatpacking district. Food is solid, had the pate, veal tartare, grilled brill, risotto and buratta. The only thing was the pea risotto was over salted :(. The Danish like their tartare's ground as opposed to chop meat. Don't know what's up with that. The gin and tonic cocktail was nice.

Yelp
Delightful place in the meat packing district - new & trendy. Great place to watch people with outdoor table. The menu had good variety - many items to chose from. Hubby and I had 4 dishes and a bottle of wine. Risotto with peas & chanterelles was melting in my mouth. Delicious!! Salmon & beets was fresh & tangy singing on my palate. Amazing!! Pate with pistachios flavorful and well made. Yummy!! Grilled Lamb so tender, like I have never had before. Fantastic!! Rose' was very light from Langeduc. Would not order again. It was fine. Great place for our last night in delightful city of Copenhagen

Yelp
Great place very cozy ambiance the food is great and the drinks as well it is quite expensive but really worth it. We had the half pigs head very impressive with how it is served we enjoyed in a big party we tried all of the smaller dishes and they were all amazing I was specially fond of their risotto and their salmon both very good!

Yelp
The biggest surprise while visiting Copenhagen, a burgeoning culinary center, was this restaurant. Located in a nouveau hip, formerly meat packing, area of the city, the establishment was peppered with seemingly youthful professionals. The low lighting made an intimate setting for diners to engage in conversation. We sat at the bar and I enjoyed the pate, of course, and a glass of sparkling wine. This was not your conventional fatty pate. It had more substance- more reminiscent of a meatloaf, for lack of a better comparison. Nonetheless, it delivered so much in flavor and texture that I was left wanting to lick the plate. The service was extra ordinary as the young woman at the bar kept my glass constantly filled. Pate Pate set the bar high for the rest of my trip to Copenhagen.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Service is fantastic and the atmosphere is ideal. I recommend the tasting menu and wine. Perfect visit on our first time to Denmark.

Yelp
Delicious Tapas style wine bar in eclectic Meatpacking District of Copenhagen. Best fish ever started out meal , a piece of hake on a bed of spinach and spring onions. Pimientos Padrone served both has appetizer and vegetable dish. I love these roasted little green peppers and order then anywhere around the world I find them on a menu. Roasted piglet with kale next favorite and the surprise dessert tasting , a meringue with berries and lemon curd. A bottle of Slovenia Pinot Gris quenched our thirst with endless bottles of chilled water. If I lived in Copenhagen this would be a regular place to dine as the menu changes daily.

Yelp
We had a great meal here and it was easily one of the best meals I've had in Europe. Great wines, great food, great atmosphere.

Yelp
I could probably come up with a million reasons why Paté Paté is one of my fav places in CPH. First of all, like all the other restaurants in this "chain" (ie, Falernum, Adendum, etc), their motto is: For the Love of Food and Wine. When I first discovered this place, I can't tell you how excited I was to read those beautiful words, faded on a chalkboard, in the late and chilly autumn of last year. "These are my people", I instantly thought. True story. The food is great. They offer a well thought-out, constantly changing menu that follows the seasons, a variety of different selections of French inspired staples, and that rustic environment that goes so well with comfort French food. They have a fantastic variety of wines from all over the world, most notably some excellent pinots from California, up and coming rustic reds from Chile, and a killer Rose from my home state (Washington): Charles & Charles. Obviously there are also plenty of French and Italian wines to chose from as well, if you prefer to stick with the classics. This place brings me back to my foodie and wino NYC roots in ways that no other place in Copenhagen has done yet. The hygge is pumping on Friday and Saturday [late] nights when they bring out DJs, and there is minimal, albeit strangely inviting, space for impromptu [chair] dance parties. Occasionally the crowd gets a little pretentious, which is slightly obnoxious, but to be expected and tolerated, as it undoubtedly goes with the Kødbyen territory. Overall, not to be missed.

Hanna N.

Yelp
We would not have found this meet packing district gem without helpful staff of hotel we stayed in. Wines were a joy-both the US(!) riesling and spanish red with main course. The Danish organig burrata was so good- will remember for some time! Also rhubarb compote desert was really good- share with a friend, it is plenty! Avoid the risotto- only dissappointment of the evening. Feta cucumbet sallad, pork and pate were all a joy. Helpful staff- do not go with bigger team if you want to talk- acoustic allows you to speak with next/ opposite friend

Yelp
I'd heard good things about PatéPaté, so I thought it might be a good place to try, and the overall experience was positive. I agree with what other reviewers have written, the noise level is quite high, and that isn't helped by their seating policy. We were seated across from each other at a long table with 4 seats on each side, and there was a couple on the seats right next to us, whereas the respective outside seats on each sides were empty for the entire duration of our meal. I thought that was kind of weird - why didn't they seat us on the edge instead - even if they were waiting for more booked customers... They advertise all of their dishes to be starter-sized and recommend 3 per person. We had two each and were quite full afterwards, so full in fact that we decided to skip dessert. The food was delicious - my favorite was the grilled turbot with spinach in biryani curry and mixed mushrooms. Their menu is a bit all over the place - or, to put it positively - very interesting, with different influences. Exciting for sure. Their wine and beer selection is extensive; they have quite a few wines by the glass, which I vastly prefer over having to choose an entire bottle (can be a bit much for two). I had a Sauvignon Blanc, a natural wine, which was nice and fresh but kinda lacked that specific Sauvignon Blanc taste. The rosé they have by the glass was very nice. I'd love if they had a website where you can check the menu, as it seems to be changing extremely frequently. I just really like to browse restaurant menus beforehand and already pre-picking what I want. All in all, a very good experience, and I'll definitely come again.

Yelp
Wow. I knew this place had a lot of hype and I wasn't really sure what to expect. It's down in the trendy meatpacking district. I sat at the bar, which I often prefer to do, and ordered some wine and small plates. Everything was incredible, really. The food was interesting, unusual, colorful, and flavorful. The staff was very friendly, full of ideas and recommendations, and really knew the food and wine very well. I would absolutely go back again and will recommend this place to anyone. The only drawback was that it was pretty noisy inside. Although they have some acoustic panels on the ceiling, the volume of the crowd was still quite a lot.

Yelp
Pate Pate is a tapas restaurant in the trendy meat packing district. It has a lot to live up to in this neighborhood with places such as Fiskebaren just around the corner! Now one cannot be naive to the fact that you will be spending some hard earned money here but if me visiting this place 2 times in a 5 day stay in Copenhagen is an indication that the food is delicious, then I don't know what is. The menu changes somewhat daily but as others have mentioned in research elsewhere, if the veal tartare happens to be on the menu, Order It!! I would say the same for the oysters as I found them to be tasty, fresh well presented. On the weekends the service can be a little slower but then again the place is packed and who's really in a hurry? Sit back, enjoy some Spanish beer or nice wines they have and take in the atmosphere and fun decor. Has a great social atmosphere as it is likely you can end up with shared tables if only a group of 2 or 3 which suits me well.

Megan E.

Yelp
We had dinner one night and drinks another. The rillette and risotto were both delicious. I especially enjoyed their take on a gin and tonic with apple and cracked pepper.

Yelp
I like the lively ambiance of this restaurant In a popular section of town in the meatpacking district. I enjoyed the food very much. My favorite was the prawns with a saffron aioli and the panna cota with fresh raspberries and a maple rum sauce. My friend had the pork loin but was a bit dry. The salad with figs, pine nut, basil and goat cheese was superbly bright and fresh. Gazpacho was perfect.

Yelp
Great service (including local advice for an English speaking American tourist) and nice atmosphere in the meatpacking district. Got the roasted pig head meal for two with two beers for about 660dk or appx $100US. Meal takes an hour to prepare but comes with a very nice starter plate of various pork products/bread/pickles.

Yelp
Food was decent, a bit salty and repetitive if you're vegetarian. Bread is awesome! Service was friendly, and our food came out at a decent pace. Ambiance is fun with a pub-like atmosphere.

Yelp
I know I'm losing a decent amount of street credit only rating this Copenhagen'er favourite 2 stars. So here it goes: I really dislike the food! Every single time I'm here I get served something resembling what the cat dragged in. Eew! The last visit being no different as I got served a hideous risotto with overcooked mashed peas and something I couldn't quite place what was. This is such a shame! In the early days, they had ready made tapas that you could indulge in at the counter - does days are long gone doing the place a great miscredit. The wine is good - but hey, Copenhagen is over-run with great wine joints so if it's wine you're after then I would recommend Fallernum, Bibendum, or Lundgren. So why the heck do I keep going back? My partner loooooves this place! He loves the food (he's a big meat eater), the vibe, the decor, the WINE - well, all of it. So unfortunately, I would probably find my self going back sometime in the near future.. Good thing the wine is good!

Yelp
Situated at a corner of the meat packing district. Daily changing menu with good choices. Helpful service, nice wine selection, fine food, a place to visit while in Copenhagen.

Yelp
Had Saturday brunch on a chilly December day. Although the menu was limited the food was excellent and the warm bread was perfect. Nice wine list and attentive service. I thought the constant refreshing of sparkling, nicely sparkling, water a great touch. Can't wait to come back! Bring a sweater if you are easily chilled as it is not the warmest building.

Yelp
Amazing food and atmosphere.I enjoyed the 9 courses with a friend. Even though the theme is not cohesive, the food tasted amazing. My only complaint was the temperature of the wine. For a place that knows about wine, I expected them to understand even red wine should be approx under 18°C. We had a warm bottle

Yelp
I liked the restaurant, the food was excellent with some interesting takes on pate, roasted peppers and a wonderful liver dish. My complaint was it seemed sort of dirty and I never felt comfortable with the hygiene of the food served.

Yelp
Nice food and good vibe. On the corner of one the entrances to the old Meatpacking District and among the first restaurants to open there. Still holds a high standard. Visit for a dinner on week nights!

Yelp
I recently had a ladies night that started at Pate Pate. The restaurant is in a really good location. I took the S-Train and the Dybbolsbro stop was very close by. Once there, the atmosphere was lovely. Nice low lighting, but enough to see. The tables weren't too close together and it had a relaxed, but classy vibe. We got a nice table in the corner and when we couldn't decide on wine, our server chose for us. Bold move, but it was spot on. We shared the steak tarter and fried things (sorry, don't know the name in English) covered in parmesan. They were absolutely delicious. For dinner we all got something different, so I was able to taste the cod, the risotto, the pork belly and the onglet. All of them were extremely tasty. I would order any of them again. Unfortunately, due to the 2 hour table limit, we did not have time for dessert. The portion sizes were so large though, that I couldn't have eaten a dessert even if we had time. I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere, price and service were all very good and it could be a date place or night out with the friends. The bonus is that after you eat you can go dance it off in Kodbyen around the corner.
