This store is real big and good. Went to grab some Indian groceries and they have plenty of stuff well stocked, arranged and in a clean environment. The store is very neat and clean and well maintained. You have various types of fries vegetables and fruits available. They also serve some to go fresh food. The checkout counters are well staffed and you will checkout in a breeze. They have good walking space to take your carts around in the store. Overall one of the best store to get your Indian groceries.

The vegetables were not as fresh and they don't sell tea here. Will most likely visit the other location instead.

Nice center for Indian and American grocery.

the new inventory will be loaded on every Friday evening. Vegetables are very affordable. Good options for Indian grocery stores. I did not see adukale items though. Plenty of parking.

Google
The biggest and cleanest Indian Grocery Store in the the Dallas area, by a landslide. Well organized, clean, wide shopping isles, well-stocked isles and fresh products. This is our favorite store to come for our Indian grocery needs. Well worth the drive for us since we are not local to Irving.

1. Always keep fresh Onions not damaged produce please 2. Always keep fresh lime not dry ones please 3. I strongly urge you to reduce salt in your VadaPav they’re super uber salty. 4. Please get pumpkin seeds and other products from India not from china 5. Please try to add Andhra masala’s as well!

Google
Please don't buy fresh sweets from this store. We got Mysore pak and kalakand yesterday and it was a disaster. It felt like we were eating rocks made out of sugar. That's the exact description of how we felt when we took just one bite. We obviously threw the rest away. I never expected that the quality of sweets would be like this at a reputed store like Patel Brothers!

Patel Brothers MacArthur Market Place, Irving TX. Very unprofessional, careless attitude at the billing counter. I experienced this on Saturday 05/17/2025 at 7:30 pm. Having long lines at the peak hour over the weekend, my experience at the billing counter was terrible. The person who was bagging the items was on the phone for a long time not bagging the items where the customer was waiting patiently. Once she started bagging, she started throwing the items into the bag with absolute carelessness and without even looking at the items. The cashier at the billing counter closed my billing even when there were several more items pending to be billed. On top of this she started screaming at my husband while I was waiting for all items to be billed and bagged. It completely looked like they were dreaming or sleeping all the while. I expected this task to be completed within 2-3 minutes, but it took more than 7-8 minutes which shows the inefficiency of the staff.

Yelp
A really good selection of produce, brands of groceries, frozen foods & food options. Definitely more spacious than other stores in the area. Great location with plenty of parking. Can get crowded with long checkout lines in the evenings and weekends.

Gauravi P.

Yelp
Wide variety of spices, fresh produce, all kinds of lentils, millets, legumes and whole grains, many Ayurvedic medicines, wide range of Indian snacks, wide variety of chutney and pickles and wide variety of frozen vegetables and frozen snacks are available.

Yelp
***OSHA VIOLATION*** I am shocked that OSHA has not closed their doors for doing business!!! Unattended boxes and ladders everywhere- in event of FIRE employees and customers will fall and lose lives. Pretty messy and dirty place- are they trying to give India cart(rerdi) market feel??? If main area is dirty, we can only imagine where the boxes and food is stored. Rodents? Rude staff! Unfortunately to buy Indian stuff we need to visit this place at-least once a month. They are minting money, I am shocked they are not hiring extra 1-2 employees to maintain the organizing and cleanliness. I need white glove service when I visit Patel Brothers- can you make that happen???

Yelp
An entire aisle of spices in various size bags. You won't find better prices anywhere for these things than at an Indian grocery store. While I like both India Bazaar and Patel Brothers, I prefer the hing and tamarind they carry here. Better quality, in my opinion. Fresh curry leaves, spearmint and cilantro (for making mint sauce), many "Western" veggies, plus many exotic ones like bottle gourd and gongura (the leafy greens of the same plant that produces the hibiscus flowers Mexicans make Jamaica from)... Sometimes they have really cool housewares in stock, like what I call "tiffin thermoses". I'm not sure that's really their name, but they're like mini tiffins inside a thermos, and they come in a couple of sizes. I should have bought them last time I saw them. Basically they are the Indian version of bento boxes, and they can keep your lunch items separate and hot (or cold, if you prefer) for hours. They are little round metal containers that stack inside an outer thermos. You heat up your foods at home in these, like maybe in a pressure cooker, and then insert them in the thermos and go off to work.

Yelp
Pretty fun Indian supermarket. If you want to cook and authentic Indian meal, go here for ingredients. They have lots of fun Ice cream treats, about 30 varieties of rice, lots of brands of frozen Indian foods (samosa, bread and entrees) some English cookies, and loads of things I have no Idea what they are.

Yelp
Patel Brothers needs no introduction to anyone who cooks Indian food. If you don't but still use lentils, spices, chickpeas read on. Spices are always going to be cheaper at an Indian store, no surprise there. Patel Brothers gives great weekend deals on produce and essentials like lentils and beans. Register to receive their weekend flyers through email or check out their Facebook page where they post the deals. You can often find lentils priced at $3.99 for 4 lbs, sometimes for as low as $2.99 too. Right now, they have a great Diwali sale going. Produce is usually quite fresh, especially on weekends. Great prices for essentials like onions, ginger and cilantro. They have vegetarian curries for take out($6.99 per lb). They also have various snacks, I love their samosas and vada pavs! Their whole wheat rotis are made fresh, in house. A special shout out to the ladies working at the counter. They may not greet you and have a chat but man, are they quick! This place gets really crowded on weekends but these ladies will get you out in a flash. If I had to compare, the other big name 'India bazaar' has painfully slow moving checkout lines during busy hours. The store is clean, always well stocked, plenty of parking too. While exiting, do make sure you go towards the exit door, the entrance door doesn't open from the inside!!

Yelp
I don't have lesser than (1 *) . Today MacAuther store (8150 WALTON BLVD Iring Tx 75063), manager was yelling louder on me , when asked about the mango count where it had 10 rather than 14 counts. At last he asked me to leave the premises and said don't wanted our business. We shouldn't do any business with this store or Patels Brothers, they are not customer friendly. Manger Mr.Jai Shouted louder when asked be this, it hurt me sentiments. Will ask my friends to avoid Patels.

Yelp
About the arrogance of the owner and his disrespect towards us. He did not look like he was having bad time or something. But, he behaved very rude all of a sudden. We had queries about carrom boards. From the starting he had been giving wrong information about size, wood and coins. So, I was checking the boards on my own with my friend to see the differences. Once I selected the board and I went to choose coins and striker. A woman was showing coins. Some were good. Some were not. So, I asked her to bring some more packs of coins so that I can choose the right ones. He came forward and said in super arrogant tone as if some acid kicked-in, everybody went with the coins I gave. Nobody tried to choose or did this. And told the woman "Kal se... ek note daal waha pe". And told us, "you are wasting my employee's time". I did not understand for a minute is he talking to us or what suddenly happened to him? I asked him, "seriously? Are we wasting time?" He said, "yes". We left that same minute to save our time by not doing business with them.

Yelp
I was thrilled to see Patel Brothers open a new grocery across from Walmart. The store has a large floor space and is bright and open. Some ethnic groceries are, well, stinky. This Indian store is not at all. Perhaps they have a great ventilation system, who knows. Or that it is super clean. Whatever it is, it works. The produce department is large and colorful, a veg head's dream. For any of you who are okra lovers, this is the place to go. The okra here is always fresh, beautiful, and SO much cheaper than the other local groceries. Welcome to the area, Patel Brothers!

Yelp
Great place for Indian groceries. My friends in New Jersey shop from the one there and among all the Indian grocery stores we have explored, this one stands out. The variety is good - although not consistent across the stores. This one is perhaps the best. The quality of vegetables and other perishables are good. They prices are competitive. There is also a bulk section of Indian snacks which are very good. The staff is very helpful. Overall, it has always been great to be here and buy Indian groceries which would, otherwise, not get in American grocery chains.

Yelp
Indian grocery store with everything you can imagine. It has snacks, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, kitchen items, religious items, cooking and baking products, frozen snacks and veggies. It is always packed with Indians and they are always re stocking. Tons of options for every item and every brand. Few things that bother me- 1. They don't have enough staff to help people with product location at the isles 2. Although they have a lot of stuff, there is very little walking space. 3. Cashiers are not very energetic and active. They don't greet or put any effort to talk to customers. Agreed their job is exhausting. But a smile won't hurt anyone. 4. No one to take care of the orphan carts, randomly left in the parking lot. It might hit some car one day :/

Yelp
Would rate 0 if possible . This review is NOT based on one visit ... at least 10 times and they are consistently BAD . The arrogance of this place . NON of persons working there ever say "hi" or "thank u". It's a chore for them to check u out apparently . They throw veggies across counter always . They pack items with heaviest one top of bag. None of workers EVER smile. What I really think is Patel bro's are the only in town in some locations , so they can be rude and crude and get away with it .... NOT in Irving texas No rewards program Good luck if I still want to go there . I would recommend u drive 2-3 minutes more and go to India Bazaar instead .

Yelp
Patel Brothers is one of the most famous outlet for Indian groceries. This outlet is located at Marketplace next to Walmart. Parking is ok and easy. As we got in the place was crowded completely. At any given instance you should be able to see at least 50 people inside the store. The veggies available here does it give you the fresh feel as you get when you try to buy it from a Tom Thumb or a Walmart but most of them are supposed to be organic if they were imported from India. There are different types of crackers available here . Those products which are packaged are all of good quality. Even the rice varieties are too many. The negative part about this store is that there is no deals here and staffs look over worked all the time. No One really smile here which might be a little annoying. The irritating and also a funny part is that their entrance door does not open if you try to exit through them. Seriously guys !!! If you want to avoid the crowd on Indian groceries, you should probably try the Patel brothers outlet in southern irving.

Yelp
Bought samosas from Patel brothers on Walton blvd and they were burnt. They don't even care to check the samosas before selling them once they are out of the oven. Never ever buy these from them.Worst customer experience ever!!

Steven P.

Yelp
This place sells stale items. I bought a bag of chocolate here and it was stale. They have their own expiration sticker on the item and scratched out the original in order to sell it past the expiration. This is unacceptable! You can't sell expired items to customers! See pictures.

Yelp
When I venture out to Irving, I try to swing Patel Brothers to re-stock on my Indian grocery staples. I really like this location.. plenty of parking, new-ish building so everything has been well maintained and is clean. For those of you who are on-Indian, know that Indian grocery stores don't spent making budget on what's going to sell, making things look pretty, what is going to be on the end caps of an aisle. They have a huge niche population and are just meeting their demands. Each aisle was well labeled and those the stock boys were speaking Spanish, they still were able to help me find what I was looking for... I'm also amazed at the prices. Garlic for $1.99/lb (it's normally 3/$1).. I got about 7 items for roughly $10. Love it!

Yelp
First time visit to a Patel Brothers grocery store! I liked it. If you are looking for an Indian super market, this is it. They actually have a good variety of international foods as well. It was well organized and we got efficient service.

Pavan C.

Yelp
I don't really understand why these people cover up the manufactured date and expiry date with a daily calorie count sticker. This is really bad. I saw it on all Indian chips like Kurkure and biscuits they sell in this store. They are even few racks with Indian biscuits ( especially Jim-Jam biscuits ) which were expired few months ago. I want Management team to look into this and make sure they don't do it anymore further.

Yelp
I am a serious fan of the veggie samosa. I haven't tried any other options because I can't tear myself away from them. They are flaky and just the perfect amount of spicy! I also recently bought a bag of the peeled garlic. About a pound for $1.99 is a great time saver because I slice garlic in almost everything I cook.

Yelp
Need to improve the cleanliness and customer service. Roti's quality going downhill day by day.

Madhuri G.

Yelp
Bought a Bournvita yesterday and opened the seal. Half the bottle was empty. I'm not sure whom to blame but the bottle cost is $5.

Mike P.

Yelp
I would rate 'zero' if I had a choice. The arrogance/attitude of employees and manager is completely unacceptable. RUDE!

Rayan E.

Yelp
This store is amazing! First time visiting and I'll definitely be back. The spices, produce, frozen options..not to mention the fresh bakery! Love love love! We grabbed some ginger teas, biryani spices and some frozen samosa options to try! Yum!

Niyati R.

Yelp
The worst customer service in the world. I don't even know where to begin. The check out staff don't greet you, throw your groceries, and talk about you as if you can't hear them. When you ask them where something is, they say they don't sell that. The next day I went again and the manager showed me exactly where it was. Really really need to fix the staff they are beyond horrible.

Saffron R.

Yelp
Do not recommend this location. Staff is extremely rude, overcrowded produce. Stuff all over the floor, aisles always are cluttered. They started serving hot to-go entree items, which are good, but not sure if sanitary as the items are always uncovered. Samosas, if they aren't completely burnt are actually very good.

Hatem A.

Yelp
Reasonable price. Fresh produce. Really always happy with the customer service . Gd job.

Lakshmi C.

Yelp
The boxed, pre-packaged sweets (mithai) purchased from this location contained mold, and it was returned immediately. Disappointed by the lack of care of staff in assuring top-quality food items!

R V.

Yelp
Go to place for Indian groceries at reasonable price. Customer service very poor, especially the ladies at the counter!

Yelp
The place is well located and easy to find when you're on I 635 Went to this store on Memorial Day for the first time and I liked what I found interms of stock. I got quite a bunch of very good groceries and my cooking is more fun and the flavors are amazing thank you. BUT the staff are extremely RUDE to the max and disrespectful the lady on the checkout point and her colleague packing groceries were HORRIBLE it felt as though I was forcing them to do their jobs, the body language was so raw making my whole shopping experience so bad! My advise to the owners is that you have a good store with very amazing things and so should your employees be. Customer care is important especially in your field! It's a necessity no two ways about it! It solidifies the bond between a client or customer and the service or product providers but with what I saw which i think am not the only one. It's not good for business. Am so sure if customers where properly treated it will be filled up more which is good for business.

Sandip T.

Yelp
Purchased a 20 lb bag SWAD brand Sona Masoori rice for this store. Turns out the bad had "Rice Thrips insects". SWAD brand is Patel brothers own brand and sold only at Patel brothers, just like Great Value is Walmart's own brand. You would see many products of SWAD brand in pretty much every aisle and shelf of the store. When I returned here to show insects in rice bag & ask for refund, customer service personnel here instead of owning to the quality of their own brand product, responded as if it's no big deal to find insects in their rice bags. Did not want to have a conversation around refund. On my insistence on refund, all I got was weird statements questioning if my claim was genuine. It was like, "Are you real? You want refund for us? So, tell me..." I have never seen any store having such a casual and dismissing response to an incident of finding insects in their own brand product. I did not get refund, and I am contemplating reporting the incident to FDA for poor food quality.

Yelp
I like the store since they started doing fresh chapatti's. They have other good stuff in there but vegetables I don't find them fresh all the time

Kali R.

Yelp
Extremely rude employees. A customer went back in for something while I was checking out and an employee yelled at her because she came back in from the exit door. A minor mistake for an employee to publicly embarrass a paying customer. My sister and I each, separately, read the price of cherries as $1.99 on the hand written sign placed above them. When I looked at my receipt I was charged $5.99 a pound. I called to inquire about this discrepancy and the woman who answered the phone was completely insulting, telling me flat out that I was wrong, no apology for the poorly placed and labeled sign. She went out of her way to be unkind then hung up the phone on me when I was speaking. I called back and she said she hung up on purpose because she was busy. She could have simply asked to place me on hold or even transfer me to someone who had the time. Another employee completely ignored us when we asked them a question yesterday, like we weren't even there. Poor customer service. There were boxes and trash absolutely all over the floor on every aisle, a certain fire and tripping hazard. This was my favorite location where my family and I all regularly did our shopping. We will be choosing a differently location in the future. Extremely disappointed in the service.

Nitin M.

Yelp
Very bad management. No respect for customer. Lady manager over there is a dictator, she does want to understand customers problems. They have no trust on customer. I would suggest viewers of this feedback not to visit this store.

Krishna K.

Yelp
Beware of buying fruits and vegetables from Indian stores. They don't hesitate to sell rotten stuff to customers. The fruits and vegetables are sub-standard and can get you sick.
google avatar

Srishti P.

Yelp
Good options but no signs on the aisles - big negative in my book! And some items didn't have tags on them so the people at checkout counter were quoting me random prices?! A little overpriced on certain items, I never mind paying for good quality but I think the random prices really got to me. I would still go to the smaller stores around here (India Bazaar, Indian Supermarket) over them. Big disappointment going there for the first time.

Yelp
One rating is for selling products which are expired 4 months ago. I would understand if the product was one day/One week, but 4 months expired product still on shelf, and you are not even accepting mistake, and putting blame on Supplier. Its ridiculous. Not sure if someone ever checks the expiry date or not of the products.
