Patel's Kingston Lanes

This is a great local spot with bowling and arcade games. They added in axe throwing and haven’t tried yet but will. I don’t eat here but did order some drinks as the prices are good. Lanes wee clean as was the facility. It was pretty busy but we were still able to get a lane.

Had an awesome time at Patel’s Kingston Lanes, bowled a few games, hit the arcade, tried the VR, and even did some axe throwing. Great energy, clean space, and a fun spot to grab a few beers with friends. Perfect place to unwind in Kingston.

Patel's is an excellent bowling alley. It's clean, bright, and the lanes are in excellent condition. This review was prompted by my recent trip to am awful, modern party-bowl type facility, because wow, you just might not realize Patel's excellence until you go elsewhere. Never again, Patel's is the place for me! Props to the pro-shop and all of the staff as well. Just a gem all around.

Haven’t been bowling in a very long time. We had a good time. The crazy, ugly shoes are still the same. 🤭. All kidding aside, Patel’s was a really nice bowling alley, the lanes & sitting area were very clean & the staff was nice. No complaints at all, except for my score. 🥴

It’s got a cool atmosphere for sure it’s just a shame they can’t be bothered to oil the lanes except for league. Damn lanes are bone dry and hard to manage. The ball returns also leave a lot of rubber r and scuffed some brand new balls. However… Great prices though great staff and I’m telling you… Mark in the proshop. Best dude ever hands down 10 star service with that guy. I won’t use anyone else and I’ll drive the hour and a half or more to get to him and pay for quality service with sincere and genuine kindness. Damn candy machines….. 4 stars cause he’s in there and the dudes at the bar are awesome.

Great Bowling Alley!!! Clean, modern, and well maintained! Staff was attentive and helpful! Snack Bar and Bar are CASH only, with ATM on site. Really good prices, and options for all guests!!

We had the place to ourselves (Thursday at 3) it's beautiful and completely different than bowlmore lanes . .. the axe throwing looks like the next toy to try lol

Lots of parking, friendly service to get our shoes and lanes. Nice bumper rails for the kids come up when it's their turn! Full arcade for a little break between games. Felt clean and friendly.

Standard bowling alley vibes. Laughably bad inedible food. Full bar & large (American) craft beer selection. I was rehabbing my elbow, so did not bowl my best. Look out - when I come back, you are all in trouble - you have been warned !

We bowled on. Thursday afternoon, very low key and empty, great time for younger kids! We forgot socks and they conveniently had them to purchase which was a huge win! Women's restroom was very clean when used. The arcade area is a great size for kids if all ages. You purchase an arcade card based on much you would like to spend. The snack bar was closed during our visit but they do have several drink vending machines. Overall, extremely clean and staff was friendly.

We love Patels! Helpful staff and plenty of space even when it's busy. Love the arcade and axe throwing options under the same roof. I honestly can't speak to price because this is the only place to bowl in the area but feels fairly reasonable. I will say the fact there isn't any music playing regularly when we've come feels like a missing piece. If there is music playing it's inconsistent (1 song then nothing) and the sound varies a lot based on where you are in the building.

My family and I went to this bowling alley and we had such a good time while we were there! We got to play really good arcade games and then we bowled. The lanes and balls are in great shape and the men's rooms were by far the cleanest I've ever seen in a bowling alley. The staff were incredibly kind and also gave a military discount. 10/10 would recommend!

OK, so I'm gonna be brutally here. Their pizza is like the worst pizza I've ever had in my fucking life. The fact that they make pizza there that is like the worst pizza I ever had in my life says a lot. I have eight years of culinary experience and that was like this was first time I've ever had really bad pizza so if I were, you do not get the pizza from there. Hell, no like you can get anything else like the tater tots, the matzo sticks, which you make sure that it isn't cold inside cause they gave us cold mozzarella sticks like it should've been fried longer, but besides that their fried food is good it's just their pizza the worst their prices could be better but you know don't get the pizza. I'm just warning y'all now the pizza there made me sick and it tasted like shit.

Great meetup spot for my family who don't get together often! We had great space between the rented room and the arcade for the kids to play while the adults got to bowl!

Cash only! But they have an ATM (relatively cheap one, actually, but still.) Putting that right at the top because it's probably the only important thing in my review I feel like I'd really like to give 3.5 stars, but that's not an option. It's a bowling alley that has laser tag, and an extensive snack bar! Like, really extensive - I was impressed with the options (salad?!) and the size for the cost. It wasn't fancy, mostly fried stuff and the honey mustard was weird, but it was tasty! The bathrooms were nice, we did not check out laser tag because we were there to bowl. The tables are a little close together if you have a party of 4 or more, and it got packed pretty quickly! As a bowler, the lanes aren't my favorite, and if you have a long approach you may be in the lap of the people at the tables, but overall we'll be back because there's enough food to make it a complete outing.

It was great to find a place to bowl while I was spending the weekend in Dutchess County. And we were very happy to find something to do (besides going to a bar) after 10:00 in the sleepy neck of the woods. Lots of games there if you're not into bowling. Plenty of lanes and we had no problem getting one at 11:00 on Saturday night. You can buy three games in a package, which is what we did and we appreciated them letting us finish the third game after midnight (when they close). My only issue is that masks are required, very few people were wearing them and no one was doing anything about it. And no one asked to see our vaccine cards either. I would have given 5 stars if there had been better following of Covid protocols, even though the lanes are pretty well distanced.

I was very dissatisfied with my overall experience. Every worker I encountered was absolutely rude ! The music stopped playing at 11 pm.. don't think I'll come back again

They have a good amount of lanes a small arcade with earnable prizes and laser tag....Kinda insane amount of offerings if you ask me! I like it here and I'd it wasn't for the world we live in I'd 5 star it but certainly room for improvement. Sometimes things don't work but I have never been given anything but understanding and help! Even if it takes a few minutes and they are not happy to be doing iBad reviews pre pandemic I listen too anything from the past 3 years I cringe at how pathetic the person must be to attack struggling business. Staffing has been an issue even before pandemic and now it's insane and honestly this place holds it together even though they have so many offerings. I wish most Guam's. Would just relax and take a step back before making situations worse. Most business my issues tend to rise from other customers.

They close whenever they feel like. The website and Facebook say there open until 8 but the workers are closing at 7. The kitchen and bar were closed early, total waste of money and time.

My husband and I went bowling on our first date at a now defunct Hudson Valley spot. We returned to the area for our wedding and were searching for a great after party ideas when we remembered Patel's. We hosted an after party of about 30 people there over the weekend and it was an amazing time! The staff at Patel's was incredibly kind, they assisted us in setting everything up so we could enjoy the event. We did unlimited cosmic bowling and everyone had an amazing time! They even let us add on a big round of laser tag which was absolutely a blast! At the end of the night they gifted us with surprise signed bowling pin, they had been collecting guest signatures when everyone went to get shoes! Highly recommend hosting an event at Patel's, it was perfect for something fun and unique after our wedding reception!

Our lane was not working properly for three games when it completely stopped racking with one frame left. We asked for assistance and the guy was working on it for 15 minutes. We only waited that long because we had a good game going. That being said there were literally 13 unmasked people in three lanes near us and several requests for staff to do something about it led to nothing being done. Don't put the signs up if you're not going to enforce it. Go to Saugerties or Poughkeepsie!!!

Come here a lot with my kids as there are no other options in Kingston. It is perennially understaffed which creates very long lines to buy arcade cards and redeem your points. I'd rather drive down to Poughkeepsie and go to Spins which is nicer and offers better customer service and management.

Really great bowling spot I found out about the day my car needed extra long service and a happy family day out! My toddler found a lucky ducky in the luring arcade which I thought was a nice win for a 3yo for being enticed into the bright colored games and very updated money cards load the ticket amount automatically (cool!) he loves skeeball more than bowling and he loves bowling! Automatic bumpers came up for my son which is really convenient and safe-looking. We will definitely be back, did I say my son loves skee ball? Currently 50 cents a game. We also like air hockey $1 game on a mini board. Thanks! Will come again when rolling thru town!

This place has really maintained the Hoe bowl in the hill vibe while keeping it clean and organized. The foods are good and fresh and prices are fair- even for parties and groups. Their Covid accommodations are great. Excellent Saturday activity!

I'm I was definitely disappointed. I took my family here for a night of family fun with friends. A friend of mine decided to bowl 3 Frames in and they said that's fine. Failed to inform us that while adding a player will cost in The long run. As our thied game was cut short we only were Able to play four frames. We spoke to the manager Dan Lowe about it because we felt the employee didn't inform our part my properly about the policy on adding a player and charged is for a game that we only were going to play 3 frames in. He then agreed and stated it was his fault for not training her properly and in turn we left feeling like we spent over $100for two a half games, needless to say we won't be going back.

This bowling alley is super cool-- The space is really clean and really big. They also have a medium sized arcade, a bar and laser tag. The bowling area is really nice. Everything is super clean and new/modern looking. They even have bowling themed carpet pattern. The prices are also super affordable. It's $3 for shoes and 4$something per game. They also have a full bar and a bunch of beers on tap. The bar area has a pool table as well. Their arcade area is also really cool! They have ski ball, basketball, a bunch of racing games and basically most standard arcade games. It's nice because you don't have to use coins-- you load up money on a card and swipe to pay the games. So you can pay upfront with cash, credit or debit which is very convenient. Also again, this area looks new and clean! There is also laser tag. I can't comment on this bc I didn't do it but it's there. All in all a nice bowling alley :)

Will travel before I go here again. For the 1st time, EVER, we were denied bumbers for our son with Autism! They said "bumbers are ONLY for children". I asked if they can make an exception for a special needs child and they said "NO". Needless to say we walked out and WILL be spreading this news with everyone possible.

Tonight I will not be giving ANY STARS for the service and treatment me and my family received. I only gave this establishment 1 star in order to post my review. I went out on a nice evening during this crazy pandemic to enjoy time with my family. Before arriving, my relative paid for 2 lanes of $76 total. After arriving, I asked to add one person to the lane. The lady at the counter added her with no questions asked or any explanation on any changes that would occur with adding an additional person. As the night continues, I proceed to pay for 1 more game for each of the two lanes we paid for ( 27 & 28 ). I paid $32, no questions asked and no explanation of anything that would be affected by this change. I played all 3 of my games on lane 27 before lane 28 even got to the third and last game. Three balls into the third game on lane 28, the game shut off. When I went to ask why this happened, a woman who would not give her name, stated that we played three games on each lane. I explained to her that lane 27 finished 3 games but lane 28 had not and I had already paid. She walks away to get her manager. That is when I met Dan Lowe. Dan explained that once you add another person, it automatically starts a new game which would technically void the first game that didn't have the added name. I explained to Dan that the lady behind the counter took my money but never explained that because had I known that, I would've just opened a new lane. Dan proceeded to say that from the information they have, 3 games were played on lane 28. Each time, Dan changed what the problem was or how we got to this point. Eventually I asked for the lady's name that had originally processed my money for the third game, so I could speak to a higher manager or at least write a review. Dan stated that it was his fault that she messed up because he trained her and he is the manager. I stated that this situation is understandable but what isn't understandable is how you're handling it. If you're saying that you admit there was wrong on your part, why isn't there anything that can be done? He stated again that I played the games that I paid for. I asked Dan if they had Yelp! To make a review and he said no. Well here I am. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed with the treatment we received tonight after spending at-least $200 between food, drinks and bowling. I will never go back alone or with my family. I don't care who's right or wrong, I care about the fact that a well known establishment In my home town would admit their wrong and still act as though I was wrong.

So we found the happening Saturday night locale in Kingston. Great service. Clean. Reasonably priced. Happening. What more can you ask for!

Cha-ching that's the sound of me winning big baby. I come into this joint fully loaded and I'm looking for some action with these rock maple clowns. The second I step up I know I'm in the pocket. I take a healthy gulp of my beer and simmer in the awe-inspiring $10 mic ultra pitcher. I line up and wham! That's a strike my guy and this boys about to start roasting his turkey. Uh oh, something has gone awry and I'm looking at a 7-10 split, or maybe I'm just cooked and seeing double. Regardless I throw that hook and kaplow, those pins are down. I win my game, I walk away with heavier pockets then I came in with. This place is blessed.

We had a great time on New Years' Eve, but I would not do it again. The music was absolutely terrible!

Great place! Stopped in on a rainy day during a hiking trip. The people are friendly and the lanes were great. 40 lanes in beautiful shape. Prices are on par with other places. We have bowled all over the country and these lanes rank among the best!

This place has awesome food and great deals for bowling!! their fries are out of this world!! I bowl in a league there and the staff has always been great to me! They do theme nights and they really stand out!! Go to Hoe Bowl on the Hill!!!
