Just back from these beautiful apartments . Spacious , clean , comfortable bed and had everything we needeed. | The Staff especially Samara were very friendly and helpful ( Thanks for sorting out our hot water so promptly) | Its only a 10 to 15 min walk to the centre of city . Wear sturdy shoes . Leave the heels at home as nealy all sidewalks and roads are small cobblelock and get slippy when wet .|Lovely places to eat just down the road especially a little place called Food for a delicious breakfast or lunch . |Would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Lisbon . |Woukd de

We had a great family holiday. The apartment was in a fantastic location with great amenities close by. The apartment was very comfortable but looking a little worn and tired. A quick lick of paint and a change of some of the furniture would do the trick. The shower holder was broken but did get repaired after asking 3 times (we were compensated with a free breakfast). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again when we visit Lisbon again.

First time in Lisbon so had no idea what to expect in terms of the location but we were very happy with our decision to stay here. ||We stayed in the hotel rather than an apartment. The room had everything we needed, including a coffee machine and fridge. The bed was large (super king UK size) and comfortable. ||It was easy to walk around the city from here and the metro and train stations were also close by. There were plenty of places to eat and drink within a few metres but the double glazing was very good and we had no trouble from external noise.||The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Brilliant room, exceptionally clean and comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. Short walk to the block which contains the apartments, pool and gym. Lovely pool area overlooking the roofs below. Great location, but beware lots of stairs and hills so not for the unfit. Tomas was incredibly helpful when we arrived with info regarding things to see, how to get tram tickets etc. Only small problem was Wifi not working

Great place in a privileged location. They should mention that swimming pool might not be in your building (important when reserving). There are few parking available, reserve in advance. The location is great to walk Lisbon. Great vibes for a typical neighbourhood in Lisbon.

This was a great place to stay in Lisbon. It was a good location, and the apartment was large and comfortable. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful, giving us iced water when we arrived during a heatwave.|It’s accessible by car although it’s a very narrow one-way street. It’s on the side of the hill so there are some steps to go up or down, but there’s also an escalator if you follow Farinhas along to Eschadinas da Saude. |We stayed on a one bedroomed apartment – it’s in a separate building a couple of doors up from the one where the reception is and this is the building that has the pool. We were on the first floor of three floors – those on the ground floor have patios outside. There was an elevator for all floors. |I really liked our apartment. It was like a ‘normal’ apartment rather than a hotel one and was big, bright and cheerful, and had lots of room and storage. Temperature control was great, with double glazed windows - despite the heatwave (33-36 C the whole time), we only used the airconditioning a couple of times to cool it down during the afternoon, and didn’t need it at all at night.|Our room was on the corner of the street so if we left the blinds up, people could look up and see in a bit but it also had blinds to block that out and it got really good airflow. It was at the back of the building so no view over Lisbon – I’d probably book one of those next time although I was pretty happy with this one. |We had a kitchen area, table and 4 chairs, a lounge and a separate bedroom as well as a massive bathroom with a spa bath, sink, loo and bidet. |The kitchen was a full sized one including a fridge, and we got washing up liquid and sponge. |We had a comfortable king bed with two pillows and a bedside lamp each.|The pool was cool even in the scorching sun. We only used it once, but it was great to have it there. |There is also parking under this building next to the pool , and a gym and they looked fine although we didn’t use them.|To consider - I really liked this place so while there's a few things that weren't optimal but definitely nothing that would stop me staying here again. |The room cleaning was fine but the people doing it seemed to take hours and were very loud. We siesta-ed a few times and every time got woken by them shouting to one another between apartments. We also had an issue where our door needed a good tug to close it and we came home once to find it had not been closed properly and had swung open after the cleaners had been in. |The floors are polished concrete which transmitted noise in the building, so if you do stay on one of the upper floors, please consider your downstairs neighbours and slip off your shoes before doing your 10,000 steps at 11pm. |It was fiesta time and a live band set up across the road right across from us one night, obviously going to play into the night – we spoke to reception to see if there were any options and they said they were full, and they weren’t happy themselves but it would be finished by 12. Not much we could do about it and I ended up being pretty impressed at how much noise the double glazing kept out. The bedroom location was away from it as well so a bit of white noise on a portable speaker and me, a light sleeper, actually slept. And they did finish at 12.|All the front desk staff were great but the manager might need to review their own customer service approach – getting grumpy at the hot air getting in when guests struggle in the front door with suitcases isn’t very welcoming.|No full length mirror, be good to have one stuck on the back of a door somewhere.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pateo! Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful with information and helping to get transfer to airport. The best part however was the location. This hotel sits on a street with apartments and businesses. It has so much character and again, anything you could need from shopping, a minimart, coffee, gelato, restaurants and bars. It was a 10 min walk downhill to more restaurants and shops. Had to walk up the steps to get back but totally worth it!

Brilliant stay with 3 friends last October.||Room had 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms - extremely spacious and clean.||Staff were helpful and friendly. ||Would absolutely stay here again , especially given the reasonable rates compared to other hotels / apartments in the area.
