Path of the Gods

Stunning walk which traverses the beautiful Amalfi coastline. Started in Bomerano and finished in Positano. We caught the 5080 bus from Amalfi to Bomerano. Grabbed a coffee in Bomerano before we got started. Arriving in Positano, we caught a taxi boat back to Amalfi - expensive but a perfect way to finish the day. Well worth the effort and a great day out.

Amazing!! This is definitely a bucket list hike. It rivals the hike in Cinque Terra and hikes I’ve done in Yosemite. We took a bus from Amalfi to Agerola (Bomerano stop). The start of the trail is close to this bus stop. We did the stairs from Nocelle to Positano, which adds another mile or so (and about 1,700 stairs down to Positano). Highly recommended when on the Amalfi coast.

not a hiker (i was unprepared and hiked this in a sundress) and i had a great time! if you were to ask if the view is worth it, I'd say that there are a lot of less strenuous ways to get views in the amalfi coast. but this hike was undeniably beautiful in its own way note that some parts were rocky and quite steep, and there were no safety railings on most of the hike, so if you were to bring your kids along you would need to keep an eye on them

Gorgeous hike! Took the bus to Amalfi from Positano and transferred busses to go from amalfi to Bomerano and started the hike there! It’s a much easier hike doing it that way. Used alltrails to help navigate all the way back to positano! Long hike but beautiful!!

A journey everyone should take at least once in their life! From Agerola to Positano, and before you stretches the endless sea blending seamlessly with the sky! Amalfi Coast!

Started in priano and finished in positano. Nice lemon point for a slushy in nocelle village near the end and just before the steps down. Make sure you take the stairs down to positano at nocelle or you will be going back up the mountain like some people made the mistake. Also Praiano is a climb up but has the nicest views looking over to positano. Start early around 8am there and you will finish around 11.30 in positano for a swim and gilatto. Really nice hike.

Path of the Gods – a true paradise trail on the Amalfi Coast! ~8 km from Bomerano to Nocelle, walking the Gods’ path along mountain ridges with breathtaking views of the sea, Positano, and even Capri. 🌅 Mixed feelings – at one moment bliss and peace, at another fear, knowing one wrong step could send you down a 1-km deep abyss. ✨ Conquered the mountain ridge trail ✔️ If I had one more day – I’d definitely do it again! #AmalfiCoast #PathOfTheGods

Great hike with a lot of variety. We did it Bomerano go Positano and it took about 2.5 hours and 6 miles (it really ends in Nochele so you can take the bus and skip the last 1-2 miles). Very scenic with some great views of Positano about 3 miles in. Bring at least 1.5 liters of water per person. They don’t recommend doing it in the afternoon heat but we did it without a problem. Not particularly difficult but there were some rocky parts which may be challenging for older people.
