"If you don’t want to eat lunch at your desk, but you also shouldn’t be away from your desk, go to Pathos Cafe, an all-day Mediterranean spot that’s less commitment than most sit-down lunch spots, but still nicer than fast-casual options. The bright corner space a few blocks north of the UN has sidewalk seating, where you can get fresh-air while eating a salad with calamari, shrimp, and octopus, or a flatbread with tons of prosciutto, arugula, and melted mozzarella." - Hannah Albertine, Bryan Kim, Matt Tervooren

Such a fantastic neighborhood great gem! Minimal rustic chic, service with a smile, and delicious, clean foods! The menu has great signature dishes but not the traditional overwhelming variety. I still must go back because choosing was difficult and need to try more.. We had a very diverse palate in a party of 4 and all left delighted!

What caught my eye was the home-like setting, decor & bar organization with bottles and colors. The menu was quite small however, I ordered the spinach pies and cold seafood salad. They both were excellent and made in the front kitchen.

I live nearby and have always been intrigued by the ambiance at Pathos, it seems really nice and relaxing. The food was honestly just OK (bolognese was a little dry and burger was not super flavorful). We also got a glass of Chianti and white sangria, which had a weird artificial sweetener aftertaste. They gave complimentary pita and olive oil and that was pretty good. Our biggest issue however was that it took over 40 minutes to get the food.

I went there on a quiet sunday evening ans enjoyed a lovely dinner. Service is very charming and helpful. I tried the crisp pizza with artichoke which was just perfect. I got a small Dessert on the house which was a nice gesture I did not ask for. Easy menu for an easy evening eating out. Definitely coming back to try the Brunch

Incredible food but completely ignored by the server. They never asked how the meal was or even if we wanted dessert - this was after 2 mezze, 2 salads and 6 glasses of wine. Seriously? We live a block away and were keen to find awesome greek food but we're seriously considering if we’ll be back anytime soon. Just wanted to update that we went back last weekend and it was such a vast improvement! Food is still stellar, but the service was awesome and attentive. So happy that we'll now be back more often! Thanks

My friend and I had dinner at Pathos Cafe last night and everything was perfect - the ambiance, the food and the service! The food was delicious and the portions were also very generous. We shared the sesame salad, lemon potatoes, tuna tartare and octopus along with a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and some glasses of prosecco for dessert! Special thank you to Victoria and Gonzalo for the fabulous, attentive, friendly service. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood!

Very friendly staff, quick service (and delivery). The sad part is that breakfast finishes on 11 on weekdays and the menu is rather small. But the place is cute and cozy, and all food is great (my personal favorite - seafood salad (it's huge)). Also great oatmeal for breakfast.

My favorite place to take co-workers during the day for lunch and my girl friend on a Saturday evening. Saturday's get better in the summer when they open up to the city streets, where they also have tables for enjoying a glass of wine and a Greek burger. I love it in the morning to grab coffee and pancakes and eggs. All of the ingredients are very fresh like the oranges cut to make juice. By the way the portion are ample for the price. The staff is amazingly friendly and competent especially the young lady during the day, she makes the best coffee and mixed drinks.
