We absolutely loved our stay at Patio Alto ! The location was perfect to explore Tilcara during the day but still be in a quieter area at night, the rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the staff was all friendly and very helpful. The grounds of the hotel are just gorgeous - my partner commented that it felt like the perfect location for doing a writing retreat because it was so peaceful and inspiring. Breakfast was delicious and there was easy, secure parking on site.

We had an amazing stay in patio alto. The staff were so nice, spoke great english and assisted us with a local phone call we had to make. The rooms and spaces are beautifully designed and there was relaxing atmosphere everywhere. It is located a bit further from the center and need to ascend a few blockes but it was really ok, and we enjoyed being in the more quiet area of the town.

Service: okay|Rooms: big|Cleanliness: good|Breakfast: same as everywhere in Argentina |Location: good, but ask if they have a parking spot left|Price: a bit more expensive then other similar spaces |Wifi: available and okay||A little bit mixed feelings about this place. Rooms are spacious and they have a beautiful outdoors. Breakfast is very simple and the same as the rest of Argentina. When we checked in they asked us to pay immediately. The lady at the checkout was not that friendly. And then there is this confusion with the parking area. Cars are behind each other so if a guest wants to leave the other guest needs to move his/her car. Overall would still recommend it.

Wonderful Staff! Very attentive and the the over all stay was just so peaceful and wonderful. The cook in the morning was probably the sweetest lady we have ever met. Thank you Patio Alto for making our stay in Tilcara amazing!

Patio Alto is a hotel you cannot miss in Tilcara, here is clean and relaxing, good place if you are looking for simple but comfortable hotel. The hotel is nice and comfortable, they have lot of open space in the hotel. Although their rooms are not big, but the design is clean and simple, this give you spacious feeling. Shower is good, they have hot water all days and it's strong. Their breakfast is simple but great, fresh made orange juice is one of the best part here. They also have a self service kitchen, with all the cooking ware for guest to use. However, their Internet is extremely slow, but it's better than disconnected. For download only around 1 Mbps and upload just 0.2 MBps. Their parking also very limited, you may need to park outside the hotel as their parking maybe full

Nice accommodation. Neat, clean, friendly. They give you a jug of water every day. And an extra jug in the common area which has tea and coffee. Breakfast is great, freshly scrambled eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit like bananas and watermelon. Well appointed bathroom and toilet. Separate double sink which worked well for getting ready in the morning for a triple room. 2 mini desks and 4 mini wardrobes. Only con is lack of air con. Yes it gets "cold" at night but it's still slightly too warm for us and we tried opening the window to let air in. 15 min walk from town or from the pucara site. It's quite a walk when pulling your luggage up a hill on a rocky unpaved road 850m from the bus stop!

We stayed for 3 nights and we loved it. The room was spacious and clean, there was some nice sunlights. It can get cold sometimes in the evening but the heating worded really well. Nice bathroom too. The breakfast was delicious. There is homemade bread and cakes (I could not get enough of their banana bread - just heaven on earth) plus homemade orange juice. You can also ask for some eggs. On top of all that, we received a warm welcome by one of the employees and overall the whole staff are very friendly and helpful. We would have enjoyed staying there for a longer period of time. Definitely recommend! Tilcara is a lovely town and great base to explore the surroundings

Located high on the hill Patio Alto provides a great view from the dining room and the 2nd story rooms. We stayed with our 2 children downstairs and a very large and comfortable room, we had a separate shower and a toilet and access to filtered water jug which was filled up every day. Outside of the room we had a small sitting area with coffee and tea and 2 workstations to access the internet. Breakfast was very nice and fresh with croissants, homemade jams, and fresh orange juice in addition to tea and coffee. Pat who manage the place is extremely knowledge about the place an can tailor tours for the individual taste. She obviously loves her job and it comes through in all her interactions with her guest. Nothing is too much hassle for her. We have had a great time Pat thank you and if we ever come back to Tilcara we’ll always stay with you.
