I recently visited this charming little café in Intramuros, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The retro vibe truly sets it apart, with vintage decor and cozy seating arrangements that make you feel like stepping back in time while enjoying modern comforts. The warm lighting adds to the inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. One of the best aspects is its affordability; the menu offers a variety of delicious Filipino dishes and beverages at prices that won’t break the bank, allowing you to enjoy a hearty meal without feeling guilty about your budget. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and their recommendations were spot on. While I would love to see a few more options on the menu, especially for those with dietary restrictions, I highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone looking for a laid-back experience with a touch of nostalgia. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a different kind of restaurant, with a open layout and antique style decor. The food was average and a bit expensive but this is a tourist area.

We visited last 27th of January during lunch time. There aren’t many people dining-in so we were able to secure some seats. Place is well ventilated. It is also well decorated.
I ordered Kare-Kare which is quite pricey. Nothing special added to it.
We also tried Lumpiang Sariwa which I like the most. I finished it almost immediately.
Lastly, we ordered small Halo-Halo. We didn’t expect it to be that big of a serving. I think their large Halo-halo is good for 2 people already.
There is only one restroom at the second floor.
Overall experience will be 4.5 ⭐️

This one's a favorite of mine already. The food is very good; I like their chicken curry, they have huge serving. They have a huge food selection to choose from.
I met the owner, and she was so nice and friendly that she even gave a brief story of their place. The transformation into a restaurant is simply amazing.
nice place, delicious food, huge serving, nice service 👍

Great place to eat in Intramuros. Just around Manila Cathedral which makes it easy to find. They served breakfast in a buffet like self-service set-up but you would only pay for what you eat just like in a regular karinderya.
The twist here is the nostalgic vibe of the place which retains its classic look from the past. A little bit of cleaning is needed though for some spots as this place doesn't have air-conditioning.
Would recommend especially for breakfast when it's not that hot yet outdoors.

We tried this restaurant because we were looking for authentic Spanish Filipino food and read some good reviews online. When we got there, they served a cafeteria-style buffet (called carinderia in Filipino), where you could choose what you wanted to eat and it would be brought to you. It was ok, and the majority of the food was real Filipino food (less Spanish). When we dined in, there was no paella, callos, relleno, caldereta, etc. so just setting the expectations to those who is looking for authentic Filipino spanish cuisine.
They offer a wide selection of food, but no prices are listed. It would have been useful for consumers to pick and choose what to eat instead of pointing at the food and not knowing how much they are paying for.
Nothing bad to say about the cuisine; it was just ok.
The restaurant's layout is excellent, although it feels a little outdated and would have been a more pleasurable experience if it had been refurbished.
Only cash or gcash are accepted.

Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. First impression is amazing, rustic, full of history. Well maintained.
Staff was ultra friendly, explaining every meal, very accommodating.
Prices are okay, a bit shame that they are not somehow displayed.
