Oberweis Grand-Rue

Incredible experience! We're big fans of patisserie and we tried different kinds of tarts and pastries. The flavours did not disappoint. The matcha and coup de cœur ones were especially tasty. Considering it's Luxembourg and that the quality was exceptional, the price wasn't bad.

I went to that cafe while I was in Luxembourg. The service was quick, and it was well-organized. I spent ages trying to decide which pastry to get because there were so many interesting ones. I opt for the salmon puff and the pistachio brulle. The names are different, and I can't recall what's its called, but I've attached the image of the dish. The taste was good and well worth the money and effort.

If you’re in Luxembourg, Oberweis on Grand Rue is a must. The pastries are some of the best you’ll find in the city: fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Pair them with a cappuccino (one of the smoothest I’ve had here) and you’ve got the perfect break. It’s right in the heart of town, so ideal for a pause while exploring. A true Luxembourg classic!

Oberweis is nothing short of a food paradise—an absolute must-visit for anyone travelling to Luxembourg! This multi-storey culinary wonder is packed with unforgettable dining experiences, making it the perfect place to enjoy quality time with family and friends. Our lunch with a group of friends was simply outstanding. Every dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour, and there were plenty of delicious options for the little ones as well. The seating layout, with its circular sofas, made for a comfortable and sociable dining experience—ideal for lingering over great food and conversation. But the true highlight? The moment you step inside—or leave—you’re greeted by the most stunning, mouth-watering selection of desserts. Each one is a masterpiece, crafted to perfection. I only wish I had four stomachs to sample them all! The few we shared were nothing short of spectacular. Oberweis alone is reason enough to book another trip to Luxembourg. If you love exceptional food, this place belongs on your bucket list. Absolutely sensational! 🍰✨

I got the Strawberry 🍓 tart. Looked good and it was good. The base could use some more work. Overall 3.5 stars for the food experience.

The mille-feuille and éclair are absolutely delicious! 10 out of 10. We got a table on the first floor, as there were no available spots on the second. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but overall, it’s comfortable and pleasant. By the way, the price for takeout is cheaper than eating in the cafe.

Once you step into the shop, you will be greeted by a decadent selection of desserts and pastries. There’s so many to choose from that you’ll be absolutely spoilt for choice! We had such a hard time deciding! Not to mention that the pastries were so aesthetically pleasing! The Tartelette Citron Amalfi IGP and Macaronade Forêt Noire were outstanding options and we thought they strike a very nice balance in the flavour - not a single flavour was overpowering, and each element of the dish complemented one another really well.
