She & her momka also sew one-of-a-kind creations of tops, pants, bags & more, using vintage fabrics. Going into Patriae is a wonderful experience & I can't recommend it enough!

An impeccably curated shopping experience and an absolute must-visit in Asbury park. Just from stepping into the store you can tell everything is selected with a very close attention to detail, from the quality of the textile to the designer or maker behind each treasure. I was so happy to pick up some holiday gifts here and also learn about some new-to-me brands. There's something indescribably cool about picking up a pair of pants that caught my eye and being told they were made by someone local. This is a business worth supporting - you know your money is going not only to a small local business but also to the local makers stocked here. Can't wait to come back!

Great spot! Beautiful atmosphere and people. We stop in after a day on the beach and before grabbing a bite at our favorite food spots. Great selection of goods, from finely curated wears to scents and jewelry, everything feels creatively orchestrated. Love the support they give to local makers by offering their creations. Well done. When you're finished here be sure to check out Setbreak Vintage around the corner for some nostalgic surf, skate, and band wears. Tees, hats, tops, bottoms, stickers, cool memorabilia. I was in dire need of a old linen tote bag. Desperate. And found one! Asked to get the bottom of the bag reinforced and they did to extend its life.

Really cool shop with lots of handmade and custom stuff for sale. I was looking for a gift for my sister-in-law and got her a pair of sunglasses. Wide array of housewares, accessories and clothing. I also picked up one of the vintage t-shirts with a Grateful dead "steal your face" printed on it for my brother--from Vlad's Denim (down the street). Turns out the owner from Patriae is the designer behind those awesome shirts!
