The Patritius is on a quiet street in Bruges, but walking distance to everything. This family-run hotel is extremely welcoming. The included breakfast is a white-tablecloth affair, with a nice buffet and fancy coffee machines in a very elegant room. The rooms are spacious and modern, as is the bathroom. The beds are comfortable and the nights are very quiet. The family members who staff the front desk are wonderful resources for restaurant recommendations. And we were thrilled, after more than a week abroad with only carry-on luggage, to be able to do laundry in modern machines in their 16th-century basement with vaulted brick ceilings! This was a perfect place to stay in Bruges.

Great place to stay for a few nights in Bruges. Rooms feel very spacious as ceilings are high. Agree with others that although the beds were huge - they were slightly hard and pillows uncomfortable. Air con was great. We have always found this hotel very quiet.

So pleased to have stayed here. We were running late but the owner offer to stay - we just made it. One of our cups had a slight imperfection but was immediately replaced with better ones. The garden was a delight to look out on (ask for Superior room number 1) and we enjoyed it with a friend. The bed was great and there was no noise. We could even see the starry night. We would definitely stay again.

A beautiful old home that is now restored as a hotel. ||Rooms are clean and comfortable, large and quiet, and reasonably priced. The breakfast had plenty of choices. ||The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

We had only one night in Bruges (sadly) and this hotel fit our needs well. We had a family room and it was comfortable for 4 with a large king bed and then a connected room with 2 twin beds (separated by french doors so if you're looking for privacy you won't have any). There was only 1 bathroom but two sinks. This is obviously an older building but the room had been renovated nicely with a modern bathroom. The windows open for fresh air which was nice and we had a thunderstorm at night which was exciting to watch. Breakfast had a nice selection. Service was good if not the most friendly but we felt comfortable. They have 3 spaces in the surface car park which is located in the garden area of the back courtyard and also 2 secure covered parking spaces. The real bonus of this hotel is the location - just a few minutes walk to the town center/main square and lots of restaurants in the area while still being quiet.

Stunning family run hotel, location a few minutes walk from a bus stop that comes to/from the train station, and a few minutes walk from main town square. Great breakfast, enough to satisfy North American or Brit travellers. Rooms well kept, plenty of space as far as European standards go … only reason for four stars in the room was the mattress was quite hard (maybe new) and the shower was VERY small. Overall highly recommend, would stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic. The hotel, hosts, and location all was perfect. You feel just like home. Breakfast served from 8:30 to 10:30 . Close to the main streets and Markt. Will definitively highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Bruges.

Cannot recommend enough! Unbeatable location, beautiful and clean rooms. Smack in the middle of the city and 5-10 minute walk to most locations. Front desk was very helpful and there are two beautiful small rooms in the lobby in which to sit or relax. There is also a stunning courtyard with a large beautiful tree, during our stay it was slightly too cold for us to hang out there, but during warm times I imagine it is a relaxing and wonderful place to sit. We booked a standard room and it was more than enough space- large, comfortable bed and beautiful details throughout the room. The main gates of the hotel close at 8pm on weeknights and 10pm on weekend nights, so if you are planning on checking in later than that just remember to contact the staff. Absolutely beautiful hotel, amazing value for money, stunning rooms! Can’t recommend enough.
