Our first visiting Bruges and we loved this choice for our hotel. Breakfast was lovely. The atmosphere and story of the hotel was great. The location made walking and exploring the city very easy and fun. We stayed in the building behind the courtyard and those accommodations were clean and charming. Loved our stay.

The room was very comfortable and the bed extremely comfortable. All amenities were clean .A kettle free tea and coffee. were in the room . Plus a mini bar ( payable)|A nice touch of toiletries Fresh Towels every day. The owners are very welcoming kind and knowledgeable . Breakfast was superb a good selection of pastries ,cakes,bread fresh fruit, egg bacon scrambled egg and beans yoghurt cereals juices teas and coffees.||Nothing needs to be improved should we visit Bruges again we would certainly stay again and will definitely recommend to friends and family

My wife and I spent four nights at this wonderful hotel. We enjoyed many aspects of the property. Including the owner, Elvi and her family and staff; the building which is an old but fully restored home; the location, just a long city block from town; and the breakfast.||The staff is very friendly and helpful with information on restaurants, history, etc. They also showed me how to use both the washing machine and dryer.||Our room was comfortable and had several shelves for clothing. It also has a window between the bedroom and bathroom. I understand that this feature is designed for romance.||Breakfast was great, especially the mixed fruit. It has a large variety of foods.||We would definitely stay here again. Period.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. The room was spacious and the facilities were excellent and very clean. The hotel twin room was great value for money and is very close to the town centre. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely return to this hotel

Have now been to Hotel Patritius three times, and every time, we’ve been completely satisfied with the room, the breakfast and service. It’s very close to the main square and 200 meters from the canal bridge leading to one of the most picturesque locations for a night time photo. The breakfast is a mixture of continental and British, cold meats, cheese, warm food (bacon, sausages, beans, eggs), along with lots of danish and local cakes. Fresh bean coffee machines and fresh fruit juice. Room has always been lovely and clean and has everything you need.

Such small rooms - very basic inside. Gorgeous building and lobby area but the bedrooms are tiny with small beds. They also have caged birds which is disturbing and cruel. I hope they let them fly free soon. Good location on side road. Walkable to city.

This family owned hotel was centrally located near the city center. The staff was friendly and they offered a good breakfast. The air conditioning also worked really well. There is a discount code in the Rick Steve’s travel book as well. The rooms were also a good size and nicely decorated.

We were recommended this hotel, we booked for New Year but sadly had to cancel a week earlier due to my wife being ill and told not to travel. There was no sympathy shown by the hotel and were charged the full rate immediately. As pensioners, we were really looking forward to this trip and despite numerous communications with the hotel, we remain out of pocket. Be careful when you book!
