Patty&Bun Hackney (Richmond Road)

My friends and I were looking for a place to eat in the area and happened upon Patty&Bun. The venue is really nice and aesthetically pleasing. We had some trouble getting the attention of staff at times (but I'll stress they were always super friendly and quick once they came to the table!). My cocktail was actually shockingly bad and I couldn't finish it. I had the Tommy's margarita and it was as if they had dumped salt in the water, it was undrinkable. The burger was cooked really well and the buns were nice but there was virtually no taste to it which was disappointing. The rosemary chips were quite nice. It wouldn't have been as bad, but the fact that it cost about £52 for the whole meal for myself and my sister, who had a similar experience, was what really made the experience really disappointing.

Met a couple of friends at Patty and Bun for dinner and the food was delicious. I had one the vegan as well as sharing all the vegan side with my friends and they were all delicious! I couldn’t believe the wings were not meat and the burger was so juicy. The staff were all super friendly and service was great. I would definitely recommend it!

For the cost per person overall it was disappointing. Burgers were negligible better than a kebab shop burger. And the chips were as good as they look so make your own mind up on that. Patty and bun your not the one!!

Have been in the past and more than happy with the food and service. But today, everything seemed super, super, super slow and waitstaff just totally absent and inattentive. It was the day of the Hackney half. The place is saved that there’s no other burger joints in the area, but I really would not recommend coming here at all. The food is now average at best, overpriced and the restaurant needs to decide whether it’s a sit in dining place or just online (Deliveroo etc). A real disappointment and hope there’s a replacement soon. Where’s honest burger ?!

Honestly never thought much of this restaurant but I was convinced but my friends who were with me to get it a try. I was greeted and served by Sam she was very nice and very attentive. Saying that I was feel hungry so I got the Hot Chic burger and the PFC just wow the flavours and the service just made me happy. Definitely hats off to the young woman Sam, for checking the allergies for my friend and she was back and fourth checking it to. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you, Once again.

The burger was rather average and the chips poor. You have to take into consideration the opposition these days. Also the service was rather poor. As with most places, the deliveries take precedence over the seated patrons. The meal took around an hour to be served. Most annoyingly, a 12.5% service charge was added to the bill.

Very yummy food and cocktails. There was happy hour on the cocktails until 7pm, and the burger and chips were delicious. Surpassed my expectations. The inside was nice and a little cosy but also a really nice atmosphere. Recommended and will be back!

Really good! The food was prepared near perfect (my burger wasn't quite med rare but it was good as it was). They had a good selection of drinks, it's not often that I see a Long Island on the menu in the UK, so that was exciting. Their staff is so kind! Very chill environment, wish I could go again.
