Restaurant Review: Patzeria Pizza, Times Square NYC
Patzeria Pizza became my go-to spot during my week-long stay in Times Square—literally just a one-minute walk from my hotel, which made it incredibly convenient. I ended up stopping by five times in seven days!
They offer a huge variety of pizza slices, and every time you order, they pop your slice into the oven to warm it up. While most of the time the result was delicious, a couple of slices came out slightly overcooked with a hard, dark crust. Still, the flavors kept me coming back.
My favorites were the pepperoni, beef, sausage, and bacon slice—loaded with meat and great flavor. I also tried the sausage with peppers and onions, which was generously piled with sausage and made for a hearty bite. Their cheese pizza was another standout—simple, classic, and satisfying.
My granddaughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo one night, and she raved about it, calling it the best she’s ever had. It came with a side of garlic bread that hit the spot.
Prices were reasonable: a cheese slice ran about $4–$5, and my combo of a meat-heavy slice with a can of Coke was around $9–$10. They also offer a full Italian menu, which we only began to explore.
Seating is limited, with a small indoor counter and a few tables outside under a covered sidewalk space. Unfortunately, the tables weren’t always the cleanest, and garbage sometimes piled up—definitely something they could improve.
All that said, the fast service, solid food, and unbeatable location made this a reliable and tasty option. Not perfect, but definitely worth a visit if you're staying nearby.
