Paulina Escanes is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Puerto Rico. Every visit is a reminder of just how much care and attention to detail goes into everything they do, from the food to the atmosphere to the service. It’s consistent, thoughtful, and always memorable.
It’s not about fancy five-star dining here. It’s about quality, craft, and heart. The menu blends French, Mexican, Peruvian, and Italian influences into something unique and approachable, and every dish feels balanced and well-executed. My personal favorites so far are the quiches, the burrata salad, and the chilaquiles, each prepared with the kind of precision and freshness that makes them stand out.
The service is equally impressive: warm, attentive, and professional without ever being overbearing. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel genuinely cared for as a guest.
I almost don’t want to share this because I still want to be able to get a table - but everyone deserves to know about a gem like this.
