Every dish arrived fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Service was attentive but never intrusive, with staff checking in just often enough to ensure everything was to my liking. Even during the busy dinner rush, the team remained professional and efficient. Overall, this restaurant excels in food quality, service, and ambiance. Paulina Escanes is, without a doubt, my favorite restaurant in Puerto Rico. Every visit is a reminder of just how much care and attention to detail goes into everything they do, from the food to the atmosphere to the service. It’s consistent, thoughtful, and always memorable. It’s not about fancy five-star dining here. It’s about quality, craft, and heart. The menu blends French, Mexican, Peruvian, and Italian influences into something unique and approachable, and every dish feels balanced and well-executed. My personal favorites so far are the quiches, the burrata salad, and the chilaquiles, each prepared with the kind of precision and freshness that makes them stand out. The service is equally impressive: warm, attentive, and professional without ever being overbearing. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel genuinely cared for as a guest. I almost don’t want to share this because I still want to be able to get a table - but everyone deserves to know about a gem like this.

Everything we had was delicious, ambiance was lovely and calm, we felt quite private in our table to the corner of this quaint restaurant, service was incredible and the food was wonderfully paced! We ordered 4 courses but everything came out with a small pause in between perfectly. Drinks were delicious and everything both tasted and looked delicious. The service was upscale and classy. I highly recommend the Tiradito, the textures and flavors are incredible.

We stopped by for an early lunch right at opening, and everything about this place impressed us. The food was outstanding — we tried the taquitos, aguachile, seasonal salad, and eggplant dip, and each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. Savory, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. Our waitress was also exceptional — warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Overall, a fantastic experience. We left full and very happy. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Wow! Stumbled upon Paulina Escanes on a rainy day and wasn’t disappointed in the least bit. Extremely friendly, engaging staff. They sat us right away with no reservation. I started with a cappuccino and my fiance got a latte. Coffee is local and delicious. Some of the better coffee we’ve had on our trip. NOTE: non-dairy milk available. I believe they had oat milk. The food was out of bounds too! I got the steak and eggs.. beautifully cooked skirt steak with chimichurri on top, covered by 2 delicious over easy eggs. Heaven. My fiance got the tostadas fransesas which was piled high with fresh fruit. She also was quite impressed. Overall, we would highly recommend Paulina Escanes to anyone looking for a delicious, freshly cooked brunch using local PR ingredients.

I absolutely loved my experience at Paulina Escanes Restaurant! The food was delicious — I tried the pozole and the tacos de amigos, and everything hit the spot perfectly. The vibe was amazing, with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. The service was superb, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This restaurant is a fantastic place for both family and friends to gather. The breakfast options are great. I had the chance to try their hamburger, and it didn’t disappoint, it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If I had to offer a suggestion, it would be regarding the bread, it could improve. We love visiting San Patricio Mall, and this restaurant has definitely earned a spot on our list of must return places. We’re looking forward to our next visit!
