Great comfort food for a cold evening. We had pulled pork burger, chicken wings and loaded fries - all delicious and generous portions. My husband had a thick milk shake - he said it was the best he had since arriving in NZ - we arrived in 2001!! Customer service - warm and welcoming! We had a First Table booking.

The highlight of my NZ trip, these guys knocked it out the park. Double cheeseburger 🍔 was sensational, the brisket smashed patties outstanding, and crinkle cut fries 🍟 delicious. Not to mention the fried chicken 🍗 with blue cheese and sriracha 😋 service was great - food delivered to the table and a satisfaction check done ✅ Wife had the fish burger and that vanished pretty quickly, so must have been good 😊

The burgers were just right, freshly cooked and taste great. We didn’t realise how generous the serving size was and over ordered.

Pauly's Dinner is a popular spot, and for good reason—it’s definitely a must-visit! The place was busy, but the food was worth the wait. I got takeout, and the honey chicken was absolutely delicious. The flavors were just perfect! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend trying it out.

The Kumara fries with blue cheese sauce are next level. The burgers are epic! Dirty Sanchez and Chili cheese burgers...yum!

Came here a few years ago due to the hype they had. Came back for lunch and tried a few items. My favourite was the loaded fries 10/10. Would love a version with chopped bacon or fried chicken on it.. the chicken burger was good 8/10 (winner winner is better) the honey butter chicken was tasty 7/10 large portion but a messy takeaway.. it needs a different box as it leaked all through the bag and onto my pants. Caramel shake worth the price it tasted like good quality ingredients. Overall the food was good not great but found the service was friendly and fast too.

I'm confused, sad, disappointed and confused more. The honey butter chicken is just confused and nothing to do with honey or butter, full of yellow mustard seed and fennel seeds the chicken is a sloppy mess and just cooked. Certainly didn't takeaway well. Blue cheese and hot sauce is a wet mess. Don't order the frozen fried onion rings, I asked about them and was told they were a best seller, I asked for the dukka on the side because I wasn't sure where that spice fitted in with southern fried chicken baskets and burgers. I did ask how long there had been new owners used to be a firm favourite when I'm in taupo. It's certainly not the same mate, it's confused southern chicken, crazy spice bends that are complicated opposite. Onwards and upwards, absolutely had a great walk there and back but that's where the happiness ends. 😭😭😭😭 Oh yeah couldn't help myself and ordered the gravy with cheese...... I'm even more confused.
