Yelp
As the rule of tumb, wherever the locals dine, might be a good place to eat..That is how we came across this place and I have to say we are happy that we did...
We got there around 7 and the locals were already dining while enjoying their wines and having good time. We were sat at our table by a nice waitress.. It didn't seem like she knew much English, but God bless her that at least she tried to help us out with the menu since it was in French. I so wanted to try a new dish, but I didn't know what the menu said. Having no wifi there, I didn't have the luxury to go through the Yelp pictures either...
I ended up ordering the Linguine with pesto sauce and the husband ordered the veal dish. I have to say that my linguine dish was delicious.. As a hardcore Chopped watcher, I have always wondered what the judges meant by saying, "the dish elements make sense together, but individually not somuch". Well when it came to my dish, that is how I felt. The pasta with pesto was very lightly seasoned but it went perfect with salty Salami. The greens were lightly dressed, but it went great with the cheese and the olive oil that the pasta was tossed with.
As for my husband's veal dish, I have to say it was perfectly cooked and the sauce that came with was just delicious.
The service was very friendly and we enjoyed our dining experience. I will for sure keep this place in mind for next time that we visit Paris..:-)
