Overall, this is a decent Villa. The private pool is the best part by far. We brought a $10 floaty and really took advantage of it. Besides that, it what you would expect from what feels like a place that was built in the 60's (don't know if it was). Is there a missing outlet cover, sure. Is the toaster broken, yup. Are the folding doors janky, of course, but there is great WiFi, stunning views, decent AC and overall a decent place for the money. I would stay there again simply for the pool. Check it out, I think you'll like it. We stayed in Villa 108 that was a tad outdated but there are other Villas that have been recently renovated. All the villas are privately owned so you need to look at the pics. The place is a 3 minute walk from the Sapphire Resort where you can take advantage of the beach, bar and restaurants. They also have taxis waiting to take you where you want to go. That is a great perk. We stayed for 7 days and saved hundreds using taxis instead of renting a car. The roads are nuts, and the traffic is even worse. There are taxis everywhere, so there is no problem getting one. That is my 2 cents. Enjoy your stay.

This was definitely one of the top parts about my vacation. Paul is one of the maintenance people and I’m so happy that I was able to meet him he told and showed me so much about the property and was so helpful in guiding me through what to do and stuff about the locals. The room was amazing my family enjoyed every single night we stayed. Pool right outside was definitely a top notch experience. We are definitely planning on getting back as soon as possible. The mosquitoes were definitely aggressive, but the rooms provided bug spray and lotions and that definitely helped a lot other than the mosquitoes about this location was a good experience. It is very close to the local spots, but Paul definitely needs a raise for he is excellent in his work.

This is our second stay at P&P. Housekeeping still just as sorry as first visit. I'm not being mean...they are rude and unprofessional over the phone. Half-a** wash the dishes, sweeping shows they really could care less. Pool guy always courteous, professional and maintained the pool well. Pangea's, on-site restaurant is truly fabulous! The food, service and ambiance, all are exceptional. We dined there 3 or 4 nights. Wishing the owner and staff all the best!

Well, this is b4 they sold all the units off & still rented. Either way the concept is the same. It doesn't feel safe here, bc there's no night or day guard and ALL the units are surrounded by glass. There's no access to the beach. You're luxury here is the little pool (which you hope is kept up & clean! It's a great concept, but it's not, or doesn't feel safe. We stayed 2 nights & went to Sapphire. Felt completely safe there with a night guard.

This was a great little place - went with my husband and it was the best vacation! Having a private pool was so convenient after a hot day at the beach. We stayed in 106 - owner very attentive and helpful. Had a welcome basket with snacks and water we were grateful after a long trip. And had beach chairs and a cooler - best rental ever. It's the little things that make your vacation more relaxing - the cooler was a life saver. Clean place, quiet, wildlife daily! Want to go back soon.

We enjoyed our stay. The outside is a bit rough, like most of the island they are still recovering from hurricane damage. The inside of our room was completely renovated. We loved the walk in shower! The pool was super clean, and it felt very private

The room I stayed in was subpar. Old furnishings and clearly in need of good refresh all around. The pictures DO NOT match the reality. This is a bunch of different condos that rent out to tourists. Bianca was my point person and she was excellent. Her service was top notch, but I was disappointed in the room itself, especially in light of how much I was charged.

We rented #117. These units are individually owned, so I can only speak for our unit. We loved it. It was clean and very nice, a great value for the money, although not at all fancy. The best asset of this property is the private pool with each unit! It was so nice to literally walk out our back door and step into our very own pool. We rented a car, which I highly recommend. Moe’s Market is nearby, so we had ready access to supplies. We grilled steaks and veggies one night on the deck by the pool; it was so nice. You will be entertained by the wild free roaming chickens and their crowing rooster. Our girls really enjoyed feeding them off our back deck. There are two TVs with a good channel selection. The partially outdoor bathroom has a large garden shower. We loved the tropical plants. The kitchen has basic utensils with a microwave, full size refrigerator, toaster, regular cooktop and oven and a coffee maker. There are plenty of towels, but we did use the coin operated washer and dryer on the property during our 5 night stay, since there is no housekeeping service. I’m not sure if we could have requested housekeeping for an additional fee, because we did not inquire. The location is great, with Sapphire and Secret Harbor beaches nearby. It is about a 25 minute drive to the airport and to Magens Bay. The restaurant that was apparently located on the property is closed, so you must leave the property for restaurants and bars. I highly recommend this villa for a relaxing, comfortable, safe vacation spot. St Thomas is so beautiful and so much fun. The damage from the 2017 hurricane is still evident, but they are coming back strong. There is certainly plenty to see and enjoy in spite of the damage.

Yelp
We LOVED our stay here, and Donette made it especially wonderful. Our villa had a living room, kitchen area, dining area, bedroom, and a semi-outdoor bathroom. The private pool and patio was a true highlight. The service of the employees was outstanding. Our villa was clean. We will be back and have recommended it to numerous others. It's close to many beaches, two within walking distance.

Yelp
We stayed in unit 107 Sept 2024. We went thru VRBO. This place was a dump. Dirty and unmaintained. Shower broke, key broke in the lock, no internet, grill and kitchen unusable. Unsafe walk to the beach. It was like staying in a slum. Don't be fooled by the fake write ups that says this place is great, I had the wool pulled over my eyes and anyone who is planning on spending their hard earned money on a beautiful vacation should run from this place. Trust me

Yelp
The pictures you see online are NOT what you will see at the property. It is no wonder the owner requires full payment two weeks ahead of time because once you see it, you'll want to leave. Paint was peeling on the walls, dirt was heaped in the corners, the place was so hot that we were sweating profusely in 5 minutes, and we didn't see a thermostat of any sort. The owner claims there was air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, but we didn't see any. We stayed just long enough to book another property--less than 30 minutes. We lost more than $1640 since she would not refund a dime, but I wasn't about to let this ruin my vacation. Please pay attention to the other 1 star ratings because we weren't the only ones who feel this way. I wish we had taken pictures, but I didn't think of it because I just wanted to get out of there! BEWARE!

Yelp
Well, we did not get robbed and thank god I didn't read the previous review before I booked this place! Thankfully they had noticeable security when we were there, but we didn't feel unsafe or sketched out at all, everyone was very friendly (which is something rare on the island in general). I understand that each unit is different, so I should be specific. We actually got an awesome rate on Airbnb (see: http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/92043 ) and decided to go for it. I'd been to St. Thomas before but only on a cruise so I didn't realize how ehm... "sketchy" the island is. And that's an understatement. Rented a car and did nothing but get lost and get stuck driving on tiny winding terrifying streets in the ghetto for the first day. After that though, we were very glad we got it, there's plenty of parking everywhere you go, though you might pay a few bucks for it. With that said, we got 40% off with a Hertz coupon, so it was cheap. We also figured we'd find our own food to cook on the grill (big mistake). Markets are small and uncommon except Cost U Less (or something like that) down the street. Do yourself a favor and have the nice folks at P & P do your shopping. And when your bill is expensive, they're not ripping you off, bacon really is like $10. In any case, the private pool is awesome and it's very private so you can swim and tan nude all you want. Air conditioning works awesome, wi-fi was currently being installed while we were here, continental breakfast was decent, memory foam bed was SO COMFORTABLE, and the indoor/outdoor shower was straight up awesome. The bar has an awesome happy hour too but Red Hook (the better part of the island if you ask me) is right down the street as are two beautiful beaches. The only thing that will annoy you (probably anywhere on the island) is the constant cock-a-doodle-doo-ing of the native roosters. Other than that, get yourself a giant bottle of rum, a case of coke, and relax like we did and you'll be all set.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay here. i stayed at the Carib Villa. It is big and spacious. Its like an apartment. The pool is awesome! It has everything to cook a good meal. Fridge and all applicances included. Access to the hotel is easy and there are no hills to climb. Other hotels have hills and downhills. Walking distance to saphire beach along the road. 5-10mins. Housekeeping is a bit slow to clean up the villas but I couldnt complain it was all good. I recommend you take mosquito repellant everytime you go to STT. I got some bites this time around bc i forgot! ouch! I felt secure when i stayed there as there is security at the front at all times. My second trip there. dates August 2012 and August 2013.

Yelp
Probably a little underrated because it's not a big swanky resort like others you'll read about, but personally there's nothing at those resorts that I can't get anywhere else. I liked Pavilions and Pools because I had my own pool. If you're coming to St. Thomas to relax and hang, that's pretty sweet. No bratty kids? No old ladies in thongs? Nobody asking for your drink order every five minutes? No self-conscious belly flops? Yeah whatever..... You take your resorts, I'll keep the private pool and inappropriate sunburns.

Yelp
Well I noticed that a Yelper marked my review as useful, so I went back in and wanted to read all the other reviews of this place since mine was so bad. It looks like since we stayed there in 2009, they at least have a security guard which is nice. Don't know if that would have helped us unless the guard was creeping around the back side of the property along the woods. They have a breakfast now and it kinda sounds decent. The big reason we did like the hotel was due to the private pool. I am sure they fixed things up in the last 6 years. I would not mind staying there again, but not so sure about my wife.
