Pawon Temple

We visited this small temple near Borobudur. There is a single building which can be viewed from outside without a ticket. There were some persistent street vendors here which was rather unpleasant. Otherwise, the luwak coffee place across the road is worth a visit.

Very tiny temple as you can see almost everything from the outside n it's one of the the three temples in Borobudur proximity. You are recommended to skip this one, by focusing more on the largest peer, Borobudur n another nearby Mendut temple. Not quite worth the entrance fee for foreigners.

Nice restored little temple. Will run you about a dollar to get in. Will take about 10 minutes to take in every little detail including the rare corbelled dome of the interior. The vendors outside though can get a little pushy

A small temple not far from Borobudur. The ticket office didn't open on time, so I just viewed the temple from the outside.

Very basic Temple in the local community. Gives you a good idea of the smaller scale temple dotted all over the region during that period. Now the area has changed to Islam faith. Historically the place was Hindu Buddhist. All depends on the rulers of the time. Still the locals are very peaceful and friendly.

Unfortunately the temple was under restoration so had scaffolding around it. I certainly don't think they should charge the 30,500 to get in. If you just want a photo then you can take it from outside. I though this was like a lot of temples were there are several in the complex but it is just the one.

Not worth it. Vey small. Nothing special.

As if in tandem. After Borobudur Temple, you will be brought over Pawon temple by your guide. Pawon Temple. A small temple in an open, like garden setting, space and within like, maybe 5 minutes, it will be time-out. On your way out, those traders? They are adamant in closing sales with you and they will make sure you run after you. Buy if you feel.
